This is a very mismanaged company. They want people who say yes no matter what is asked. If you have the will to be used without the proper pay you will be one of the favorites. If you appear smarter than the management they find ways to make you feel inadequate and will eventually force you to quit. I did minimum of 28 jobs in the plant daily. With promise of promotion n salary pay. When I asked about that promotion and salary pay they replaced me. Then expected me to continue to do the other 27 jobs. Plus answer any of the questions the new person could not. Also, to do the job until she learned how to do it. 
  They then called me into the office and put me in a totally demoted job knowing I would quit. That's exactly what I did. The part of the company I worked for is still struggling. As they had no idea of the extent of the work I did there. 
   I do not recommend this place.

There were very few days in a week that were productive, There were too many Chiefs and not enough Indians. I really enjoyed my co-workers and I learned a lot about different types of circuit boards and how they worked. Really enjoyed when I got to work on our Bendix boards. The hardest part of the day and I don't mean everyday ,was when they bounced you around from job to job not knowing what was priority. You never got to finish what you had started and that causes for a lot of repair work. Jobs that were started by one shift and left were not logged and labeled right so when the next shift came in and were told to finish them somehow they ended up on the repair shelf or counted as scrap.Very unorganized company, with a big turnover.

When i started, my responsibilities were making sure the boards that went through the wash were marked and ready for the next step. Later I was given an opportunity to work with the QAs running the final test and making sure the product didn't have any defects. After a short while there, they ask me how I felt about trying something a bit more challenging. They put me on a machine with 3 others. We each took one area of the machine. We were in charge of setting up the machine with the correct specs and making sure the machine was flowing smoothly. Consistently documenting our progress.

Some people really care about the work while others don't.  Production leadership is weak and create harassing environment.  Not enough engineers to support the business.  Product control is week. High turnover, low wages and lack of training of operators lead to mistakes.  Too much rework. Don't no why customers stay. Long time between raises if at all.

Started as a Quality Inspector and moved up to Quality Control / MRB Coordinator. I haven't had anymore opportunities to move up but I am learning more and more here. I work with some amazing co-workers and will stay in touch with them when I do leave. My supervisors have all been wonderful. Just recently learned and took on AS9100 FAIR's, Document Control, and Audits.

Management was not always as structured as it could be. There were things done, that didn't make sense. But as a company we generally pulled together to make customers happy with the product(s) that we provided.  Working along side my fellow employees was one of the best things. I have many good friends, from my time there.

There isn't much upward mobility here, but it is a pretty laid back company. Get done what needs done and for the most part you'll be left alone.

The pay starts low and you top out pretty quickly. If you ask for a raise they tend to beat around the bush and string you along rather than just give you a flat answer. I know a few people who haven't gotten a raise in over 30 years that they've been here.

I have three monitor at my desk. Working on several programs at one time. Quoting new programs, new components and expediting current orders with suppliers, are a daily work environment. Working with the plant production personal. When they have inventory errors. Rushing stock in the next day to keep the lines running. I enjoy coming to working every day knowing that my plate is full.

Cal comp electronics in Logansport,IN. I started at the company it was in dire need of attention in the stockroom.   
The company intends well and there are great people there. Great management.  But they will set you up and point fingers at everyone instead of accepting responsibility for their actions.  It's a place where you clock in do your job and go home. Theres not much enjoyment that comes from working there.

Cal comp was my advancement forward from part time employment. The assembly work is extremely attractive to those with health concerns. Many positions offer chairs, so it's ideal for older demographics. Few labor intensive positions are available so monotonous action must be acceptable.
