Call Experts

While we are still a growing company with room for improvement, there is always room for advancement. As long as you keep your head in the right place and do what you are supposed to, there is always opportunity. You must be flexible and willing to roll with the punches (again, growing company), but once you have that down, you can really be in any position you want. Reliability, Flexibility and willingness to learn are three of the most important skills you need when working at Call Experts. If you can show up, be taught, and allow for some wiggle room in every aspect of your job, you WILL be successful. 
If you are looking to get rich, you need to look elsewhere, because while some positions offer a reasonable rate, it does take some moving up in the ranks to get to that point. There are bonus incentives in a few departments and annual reviews that involve a raise, but the base rate for an entry-level position could be better. 
Since there is so much room for advancement, you will find that members of management are constantly busy. This is not necessarily a bad thing if you are self-sufficient and can speak up when you need help. I have never gone to a member of management with an issue and been turned away. You have to understand timing and realize that your problem is not the only problem happening at that very moment. 
We offer service to thousands of clients, so no matter your position, you are going to have to learn a lot on the fly and be able to use reasoning, common sense, and some out of the box thinking. This is where the flexibility comes in. You might be here for 2 years before you ever see a particular account, but that is just how the cards fall. 
Overall, Call Experts can be a great place to work if you understand the culture and can be flexible with a business that is ever-changing. You must have patience and a willingness to work for any position. There is opportunity at every level, but you must understand that good things come to those who work (and come to work).

When I was hired with Call Experts as a CSR, I'd had minimal job experience. They really invested in me through their in depth training & career development. Along with my hard work I was able to excel in my various positions throughout my 6 years (and counting) here. The management and quality assurance teams work very closely with you to make sure that you are proactively coached and provided with all the resources possible to help you succeed. They really take pride in helping you achieve your growth and advancement goals, as long as you're willing to put in the effort. I've been able to develop my communication, problem solving, critical thinking, social perceptiveness, & time management skills just to name a few working with Call Experts. You can anticipate a fast paced work environment answering calls for various businesses. The most challenging aspect was just getting used to the various accounts. It becomes very easy the more time you spend on the phones. You are provided with a set schedule which makes it easier to get in a routine rather than having to adjust to a constantly changing schedule. Attendance is important, just like with any other company, but especially since they are open 24/7, 365 days a year. They ask that you try to find coverage for short notice absences. They have protocols in place to allow you to take days off or vacations as needed with advanced notice. We do work holidays but they make every consideration to make sure you spend time with family by giving your shorter shifts or a choice of Holiday off. The most enjoyable part of working for Call Experts is the sense of community. I love knowing that we make a difference  in the lives of the people in our community by taking their calls when they are in need. I love the environment and people that I work with. My coworkers and I have become like family.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Nothing it is terrible and unprofessional all around. There is zero structure and they can not even retain the most basic service accounts that you sell to your clients, which destroys the salespeople’s integrity and all the time they spent building strong relationships with their clients. They take zero accountability for their mistakes. No job security. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Not having job security and knowing when your selling the services to your clients that you cannot trust your team to fulfill your end of the contracts. Don’t work here unless you have no morals or values and you feel comfortable lying to your clients. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Absolutely terrible! You have no voice and your micromanaged to the point of frustration because it doesn’t allow you to focus on your work. When you give your ideas during meetings they are shut down by management and then stolen by the manager so he will get credit for them. The whole company is a circus 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Sad and not enough work. They are supposed to provide you with warm leads, but they all they do is reassign you old unqualified leads that don’t come to fruition.

At Call Experts there was no shortage of clients or the types of businesses we answered for. The variety kept the workday from being monotonous due to not knowing which call you would get next. I learned how to assist callers and resolve issues the most efficient way. I also learned time management and to get the calls handled as quickly, yet effectively as I could so that there would be little to not wait for other callers. My co-workers were great overall; we didn't get to socialize much while on the clock because we were busy on the phones, but lunch breaks were nice. The management was okay, but not exactly cohesive like one would expect. The hardest part of the job would be dealing with abrasive callers and the lack of flexibility in the work schedule. The hours were wonderful, but you were required to have one weekday and one weekend day off, and were not allowed to do a Monday through Friday schedule. Being a new mom at the time, getting a sitter for every Saturday became very difficult. The most enjoyable part was the variety of calls and interacting with different callers.

A typical day at work includes taking calls for many different types of companies. There are many different services provided by Call Experts. Most clients, however, use us for our dispatching services. There are many commercial accounts as well as medical accounts that rely on us to determine priorities and dispatch them accordingly. Once the necessary information is gathered the priority is determined based on the client's scripting. Other services worth mentioning are switchboard call directing and intake questionnaires resulting in sales leads. The most enjoyable aspect of my position is assisting customers in their time of need. A large number of our clients' customers count on us to assist them when disaster strikes. The most difficult aspect of my position is being part of a third party call center. We are only to provide the information or advice provided to us by our clients, meaning there is very often little that we can do to help.

This job was great when they allowed breaks. Then they decided to go from being proud to be “Mom and pop” to trying as hard as they could to go corporate as fast as they could at the expense of losing almost all of their most valuable employees. I wasn’t the only one to quit when I did, about 30 other people I knew of quit in the same 3 month period. I was so stressed from this job not ever allowing breaks, that I needed a break from the job, a break that required a hospital visitation. I explained this to them before I went. When I returned, they said I had quit because I got all but one shift of mine covered by someone else. So since I was in the hospital and had no way to call them, plus I told them before I went in the hospital I couldn’t get that day covered, they said I had quit my job. I argued until I got a month leave of absence with the requirement of returning afterwards or I’d never be reeligible for rehire. Well I didn’t return, and they begged to get me back months later when more of their best employees left due to their terrible management.

I'll be honest this was on the low end for me as far as jobs go. Training I feel is very deceitful yes they tell you you can make up to this much out but they don't say how you do it and it's basically a matter of juggling stats even on days off. This took a toll on my mental health and I also had starting off a very bad manager I tried to stick with it because I know everyone has a different style of doing things but essentially it's their way or the highway and there is not an in between. I didn't really go into this for the pay so that's not my biggest complaint I went in there expecting something completely different and it's not worth it. Also I noticed the company is going through a lot of changes which I take as a bad sign from previous experience. The only good thing I can say is the flexibility and the training but out of it not worth it. 

Any good reviews you read I ensure you that it comes from the owner or someone that has money invested into the company. This is one of the highest turn over rate jobs I have ever worked for. They treat their management team like donkeys and will dock your pay for pretty much any reason out there. (IT'S IN THE COMPANY POLICY READ CAREFULLY) They only allow 3 rest room breaks and if you take more than that's they will give you and attendance point for being late from break which leads to loss of pay or termination. If you get this job you will get started anywhere from 9-12$ an hour depending on who you know higher up in the company. Some of the management  teams friends that start off there make just as much as the Team leaders. This is no place to work for. There are so many great opportunities out there to start a career and match the pay. Just remember you have to job security here and one day you might loose your job and then your house.

Well I have not had a job that I have grown to love an appreciate more than Call Experts. I never was employed by  company that has honest good people. I have grown in the last several years and it has everything to do with my co workers and the CEO of the company. We have a family affair going on which allows us to really work well together. The culture is truly on a level of its own as we have a multi cultural team on staff. This allows us to offer a number of services and make all our clients happy. The most trying part of the job is when your team is feeling unappreciated. This means that they will falloff on their stats. So I work hard at making sure that they are happy and if there is a problem or concern, I can address as soon as possible. 

The best part of this job is the friendships that have been built over the last several years. I would not change anything about my job. I am a Call Experts for life.

There are no incentives, they always want you to train on various new accounts but don't give you a pay raise. They lied and took back the extra dollar an hour to work on third shift or when I came in 2 to 3 hours early and wanted to pay me regular rate of $11.75 but gave it back at my regular shift of 11pm-7am shift. If you put in PTO time for one day they don't give it to you because if you are in overtime you won't be eligible for it. The owners of the company don't appreciate you they just want keep all the money they get for these new accounts in their pockets and not pay the call center representatives what you deserve. I never even met them to be honest and they have their supervisors do their dirty work. It's not worth being unhappy and struggling to pay your bills if the owners are getting rich off of your hardwork. I would never recommend applying to this company.
