Having cleaning up last shifts mess, if you are the higher ups pet you get away with everything, coworkers crochet the whole time and don’t do their work. 
Management very mean at times, lazy too. Hardest part is having lifts though we aren’t allowed. Nobody will help you lift, unequal pay. People who aren’t fully certified are making $18 while I’m certified completely and the lowest paid pca yet again. I had to fight for $13 when I was making $11 and all the higher up pets were making $15-$16 an hour.. now I’m making $15 and everyone else is making between $15.50-$19.
The only enjoyable part is seeing the residents happy and smiling. They are very sweet and kind. Though there is some that have downfalls that bully other residents and when you say something nothing is done because they are too worried about losing business for the owner who is never there

I have learned alot from my job and the people I work with. The office personnel will work with you should you need certain days off or prefer a certain shift. The hardest part of my job is talking with family members that seem to be in denial of their loved ones condition. The best part is meeting so many wonderful people and the satisfying feeling you get from taking care of someone who can't do it themselves anymore.

A typical day at work will vary depending on your shift. You will fall in love with the residents( as with most Personal assist homes). Some days you will find yourself stressed and upset. Management is ok at times, for the most part pretty laid back.(Even when they shouldn't be) the hardest part of the job is usully dealing with multiple demands at once and family members.

It’s great if your married to your work an don’t mind living there half the time, it was good at first then starting to go downhill with lack of staff ratio to residents 

A lot of work for such little pay......stay away.....if your a housekeeper and they are short staffed for aides. They will pull you and make you a aide that day. And if you say no they tell you its mandatory. Its a bad horrible place there and sometimes you may be the only housekeeper for the whole building

New Administrator is not welcoming. The atmosphere is equivalent to a toxic relationship. 
Residents don't feel at home. 
It's a controlled environment where residents and staff are afraid to speak on injustice. 

A TYPICAL DAY WAS CHANGING BEDS, GIVING PATIENTS BATHS, COOKING, CLEANING MANAGEMENT WAS EXCELLENT AND I LOVED MY CO WORKERS THE HARDEST PART WAS LEARNING EVERY THING THE MOST ENJOYABLE PART WAS BEING AROUND MY PATIENTS

Demanding but great people to work with a lot of different departments to keep up with but I really enjoyed Taking care of the residents they were great

Understaffed at almost all times because the wages are too low for the tasks they require you to do. poor communication between workers and supervisors.

It was a good place to work. All employees respected each other. It was sometimes stressful but at most times relaxed, as long as you were good at multitasking.
