This place is deplorable. They have a serious bed bug infestation, rats and roaches. Someone just got shot in the neck right across the street from the facility. It’s very Unorganized and  no one knows anything. Staff are incompetent. Aides are lazy and residents are dying left and right.  You have a third DON in less than 2 years. The “Administrator in training “ is lying telling everyone she is the Administrator which is against the law.  If your relief don’t show up you are mandated to stay and work! No staff should be treated like this. You don’t have supplies you need to do wounds. Meds aren’t given, they’re left inside of rooms. State needs to shut it down. Rooms are disgusting. I’ll be willing to interview with the news to report these ppl. I’ve sent emails to corporate but no one follows up.  It’s all about money.

What is the best part of working at the company?
It’s all about the money you can make them but they also keep adding and adding extra duties so it’s difficult to get primary job focus completed. Corporate ties you up with meetings and “training” in order to do THEIR job. Not worth the stress!

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Corporate meetings and constant micromanaging 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
A lot of nice employees but many unhappy and stressed with the constant additions to workload.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Work remotely as much as possible to stay away from the negativity. Have submitted resignation letter after barely a year.

Carecore has a problem with respecting employees. The turnover is high because the facilities do not realize that their staff is the greatest assert they have. The company consists of 1 star rated nursing facilities for a reason. They only invest and expect the bare minimum from their staff. A one star means that your quality is in the bottom 20% of all Nursing facilities. 
During my time at Carecore I witnessed the leaders of the companies blame everyone but themselves for problems that were occurring in the facility. The corporate employees called certain employees, “cancers.” But never offered guidance or approached these employees with concerns. 
It was a very negative and toxic work environment to be honest. 


The management has favoritism issues. They don't really care about their employees. Management only cares about saving their own jobs. It's all for looks. The management really doesn't care about the residents. The nursing staff is overworked & underpaid. The kitchen staff has to work with inadequate equipment or non-existent equipment. The kitchen also doesn't get the budget it deserves to actually feed the residents the food they deserve. The whole facility is a mess. There are holes in the roof, when it rains, it rains inside.

It’s a joke! They promise bonus you pick up shifts they don’t pay. Raises are due you never see it I worked for two years, all the Company would say is if I picked up more hours I could get a raise that was owed to me. They are supposed to take out taxes don’t take out correct amount will have you owing IRS. One side is heavier than the other sides as far as work load. Staff a revolving door. They hire anyone and leave the ones that actually care about  the residents to suffer. Picking up other people’s work loads. They Fire people then turn right back around hire them again! 

You do not want to be a part of this company. The attitudes are out of the world especially the scheduler and the DON. They cover up call offs for their favorites and come down on others. They don't care about anything that happens on the floor. They allow you to work short, the benefits are horrible! The place used to be nice before the new owners took over. Now everything is cheap. They said they couldn't afford to give us an raise due to a staffing crisis yet now they can afford to give new hires sign on bonuses. They're trying very hard to get us older employees out the door.

This has to be the filthiest , darkest , dreariest nursing home that I have ever walked into . Floors were so sticky that my shoes almost came off my feet , building smelled of pure urine and feces , residents were hanging out of beds screaming , unprofessional staff sitting around & playing on their phones , no management to be found anywhere . I did contact state but want to make sure that those looking for a job or looking for somewhere to place a loved one , LOOK ELSEWHERE

I would arrive early and after clocking in for work, I would get walking rounds (report from the employee of the residents) and a report from my charge nurse afterwards. I then when set-up myself with the things I would need for the night, and double check the rooms and the residents, and make note of anything I felt as important. I learned that I loved my job, but I was unhappy with the pay. I could only advance if I would go back to school and become an LPN or a RN.

The patients are great but the corporate is a mess. The building is in a disaster. It’s depressing and gloomy. It’s not a lot for them to do. They get meds all day everyday. It seems like your med passes are never ending. Equipment is lacking or broken. Soon as you learn a employee corporate fires them so you have to start over. Compensation is also low. I had to wait 3-6 weeks just for a dollar or 2 counteroffer. I also have co workers that have asked for raises and have heard no response. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
Very busy days go quickly. Residents are like family. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Disregard for PRN workers. 
Pay is not competitive

Hectic like everywhere else 
Aides are over worked but push through every shift..

Not there now due to scheduler always asking if I wanted them to"term"me. Very rude I was employed there 9 yrs.
