This is a call center focused job. Previously, when giving interviews this company does not disclose the call center focus of the job so applicants are under the impression that they will be working with patients on a one-to-one basis which is typical of a healthcare based company. Due to the nature of the employees being contracted out to different funding programs, the level of treatment and respect of the employees differs greatly between each program, and the work atmosphere varies as well. The program that I was employed under makes extreme policy changes very frequently, oftentimes daily, to an extent that the employees are unable to retain information and move forward with a clear foundation  and understanding of the program's guidelines and expectations. Now, there is an increased focus to meet metrics so that Caremetx will be able to keep the contract in the coming years and not have to pay out financial penalties. These metrics use very strict guidelines with adherence to break times, attendance, call handling, the amount of calls answered, the speed that you complete the notations of each call/after call work, and an intense inspection and review of the calls completed by a biased quality assurance team. There is no grace period for anything under any circumstances, and employees receive attendance infractions for being even a minute late or behind. Micro management is the main focus when interacting with the employees and training is done on a computer based program that you are given a select amount of time to complete and attempt to comprehend. In addition, none of the reviews, training, or guidelines that are being created are rooted in actual research of the employees day to day work experiences with patients, providers, and pharmacies. Ultimately, the client that the employees are contracted out to dictate every decision that is made in reference to the day-to-day working atmosphere, the employee standards, and the possibility of career advancement. Caremetx as the hiring company does not monitor this treatment and they do take more of a "hands-off approach". This may be a good fit if you need insurance benefits but your spirit will be tested, the overall morale is bad, and the pay will not increase in relationship to the increased work that you do.

If you are starting out in the world of pharmaceutical hubs, you're going to get a pretty good understanding of all the roles and journey a medical record takes from enrollment to pharmacy triage. 

For my role you had to hit the ground running and have a basic understanding of how insurance and pbms worked to really thrive. Training was a mess, a quick 2 week rundown of the systems and what is expected of you and the rest you had to learn as you went. There isn't a training environment so of you mess up that's it, you learn how to fix it. 

Job responsibilities are constantly changing, one week we're focused on one thing the next they've let go of an entire team and then our team suddenly has to also take on their tasks with very little direction or forthought on how it's going to impact production and KPIs. 

Management in my experience is hands off for the most part. You can ask questions, but don't expect quick answers. One on ones are rare. 

The hardest part of the job is the lack of communication, and the sudden change of work flows. As someone who struggles with sudden routein change, that's been my biggest gripe. 

Most enjoyable part is the work life balance. There is almost no overtime, so when you clock out that's it. You don't need to worry about work again until you clock back on. They are pretty nice about time off to as long as you give them a reasonable heads up. 

Pay could be better for what is expected of you. 

I joined the seasonal blizzard team at the end of 2021 through a temp agency, we were told we would have about 8 weeks of training, which was not true, we received about 3-4 weeks of training half of which were plagued with technological issues. We were pushed to start doing our calls long before we were ready. Every day we logged on for the day something changed from the day before. We also had constant IT issues to the cheap equipment sent out by this company. I had one good experience with one manager who was very honest and always looking out for us and attempting to keep us posted on what's going on with the company. Caremetx seems like a new company that hasn't figured out how to run properly. Also, they lack integrity and honesty, this company had the ability to advise us when we would be let go but instead chose to just lock people out instead of communicating that they would no longer have a job tomorrow. The last day I was there I was asked to log off early and I would be paid for the full shift, I asked if I would still log in for tomorrow this manager literally lied to my face because I already knew I was gonna be let go. I wouldn't recommend this job to anyone because of the lack of stability, integrity and honesty. The pay was decent, work load was not heavy

Fully remote work is a pro for the company. Your experience will entirely depend on the client team you work on and your direct leadership. There is absolutely no leadership development within the company, so that is a total roll of the dice. Nepotism is encourage as well! If you are friends with or brown nose with management you have a puncher's chance, if not you will rot away in your position and likely become overcome with anxiety and suicidal. It really is that bad. Please don't dare approach leadership (mid, senior, or executive) with any of your concerns because you will be immediately blackballed and retaliated against. Management is in "cahoots" with one another and HR. Speaking of HR, a total joke and they will most definitely retaliate against you. During my tenure all of the HR reps that were actually non biased and fair at their job were unceremoniously terminated. Years ago it was actually a decent company to work for, however greed, rapid growth, and onboarding of completely inept and unqualified leadership sank that ship. BUYER BEWARE!! 

The company has gained a reputation for misleading clients, often making promises that are unrealistic and difficult to fulfill. As a result, employees find themselves overworked and underappreciated, pushed to their limits to meet these unattainable expectations. The management team is particularly problematic; they frequently resort to deceitful tactics in order to secure business and create a favorable image for themselves. 

The recent transition to a new CEO has further deteriorated the corporate culture that was nurtured by the previous leader. This new CEO appears indifferent to the values and community that had been established, prioritizing personal gain and the pursuit of an annual bonus over the well-being of both employees and clients. The overall atmosphere has shifted to one that emphasizes profit over integrity, leaving many to question the company's commitment to ethical practices.

I was hired as a seasonal employee to call insurances to verify benefits for a pharmaceutical drug. This position was remote and payed okay. The management was very disorganized and didn’t care about the employees because they could just fire them at will. Everyday you didn’t know if it would be your last. I stayed the longest in the assignment because I met the call quotas. This was a very stressful position for the total payout overall. They just wanted you to sit on the phone and do zoom meetings every 5 mins bc it was so unorganized. If you are desperate for some quick cash it’s okay, but don’t think you’ll be hired afterwords unless you are connected to someone already working there. The managers for the most part were under qualified and not very professional. Most of the coworkers hired looked like those funny videos of people you see at Walmart.  Too many hoops to jump through and not worth it, won’t be returning.

I used to enjoy working for this company and looked forward to my work day. But that has changed over recent years.

They continue to add on to your responsibilities but will not compensate you for any extra work.   Instead of hiring new employees and training them, they just throw the extra work on top of your existing work and expect you to balance it and complete it yesterday. Some managers micromanage.  They don't pay enough for the amount of stress you undergo or the amount of work they expect for you to juggle at one time.

They used to give you yearly bonuses and incentives but that has stopped a few years ago with the new CEO in place. Something as small as an appreciation gift for employees during Customer Service Appreciation week has been reduced to a simple email saying "thank you" Not enough in my opinion for the amount of work I give to this company.

- managers are very dishonest and they undervalue the extra work done when time rushes.
- the managers only think in the budget they spend and not in the valuable human resources they have . They only prioritize the budget optimization making shortcuts whenever possible.
- they do not provide any training or introductory background when u in start on a new project
- you have to deal yourself with complex implementations of user stories and receive hardly any help from team mates
- They never provide good feedback when you deserve it. Managers only focus on weak/bad points of your performance, letting you down steadily without any considerations
- they dismiss people without giving any strong reason and without any notice period. they have no considerations at all with the people they hire.

- Have clarity on having a career path to rank-and-file employees
- Take up complaints made against higher management seriously
- Lacking seriousness on critical and time visa filings to foreign workers
- If expected to work for long hours regularly, please compensate them
- No promotion despite 4+ years of job No work/life balance
 - No additional pay for working extra hours on regular basis - No clarity on immigration and wilful delays in filing important visa filings causing foreign workers to quit or deport - Can't complaint against higher management. HR won't entertain to any complaints made against bosses - Several employees in IT laid off without any heads up despite long tenure (2+ yrs)

I am currently a Operations Supervisor. I am fully remote! This was one of the first companies to go "remote" because of the pandemic! My co-workers are a joy, very helpful and supportive! My Director (direct sup) is approachable and supportive. I let him know my career goals and he has set me on a path to obtain them! My VP  is amazing with a wealth of knowledge and experience. The company is patient/client driven. The company feels like a family very like minded which is the most enjoyable part of my job. The hardest part is also a gift because I am fully remote. Mark Hanson is the CEO and I have never been more proud or motivated to work for someone. He is exceptional!
