Its high hourly rate compensate the lack of benefits and when the facilities has the power to cancel you few minutes before 2 hours of your shift the terms and conditions doesn’t give you justice- its more on the advantage of the facility. 3 times I was cancelled by facility 2 hrs and few minutes before my work start. I am already getting ready for job. So you will waste a day job that you could have invested in other means. Facilities are disrecrpecrful and unprofessional and treated carev RN as dispossable manpower. The carev has no pangs for such behavior of the facilities. You have no job security even a single shift security because you could commit your day and time but they don’t have to. Fond other flatform such carev because you can’t risk your time, talent and dilegence of work with their facilities. Oh some facilities requires UNPAID orientation they will put condition such they will give you $200 if you completed 3 shifts, so suppose you work once and you didnt come back or they cancel you for the rest of your claimed shift then orientation hours is considered unpaid. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
You can prepare your own schedule, payment is twice a week. You can choose different destinations to work, the support team always helps you. I'm working here for four years and never had a problem. I love CareRev.I recommend it.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
I started working in 2020 with Covid 19 there was many options from different hospitals to work .Now the options are not the same.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work environment is very varied, there is a lot of diversity from different cultures, and we work as a team. I had a change to make many friends, and meet very nice people.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I arrive at the assigned unit, and start my work. I'm CNA I start with vital signs and assist the patient with bathing, change the bed, and help with their needs. Also I help with blood draw, EKG , and enter all information into the system.

Great user interface and easy onboarding, other companies need to learn from CareRev.  Hourly pay is good but fluctuate depending on the market, you also would be classified as an independent contractor (1099).  Depending on your location, there may not be many jobs available for you.  When you are booked for a job, facilities can cancel you up to 2 hours prior to your start time.  The availability of jobs are based on the projected need for staffing.  You may have multiple shifts cancelled.  This is not a dependable source of income and is meant to be supplemental.  When you do make it to your job jobsite without getting cancelled,  you are not provided any training and have no resource as you are often working for understaffed facilities.  It can be a very unsafe work environment for your patients and yourself.  I would not recommend working for CareRev as a Registered Nurse. 

I love the care and support I have had from working with CareRev for over three years now. The freedom and support I feel from knowing I can work when I want to and don't have to when I don't is liberating. I appreciate the CEO who founded this company and all the staff who have helped during times of need like when I was injured on the job and I quickly received worker's comp and promptly returned to work without any hassles. This is the opportunity that nurses have been longing for, freedom to choose where you work, how often you will work, and a negotiable payrate that is highly competitive. Thank you Care Rev for standing out from the crowd and offering competent healthcare workers the opportunity to work with such a great employer!  

I work as an RN on the platform - not as an employee of CareRev. 

The onboarding and credentialing are EXHAUSTING.  It has taken three months and it is still not complete. They tell you only one or two steps at a time. Are not transparent. Extra requirements pop up, delaying even further. They do not know what they are doing and I don't know how a single nurse works for the facilities because it takes so long. I would give up if I was not this far into and literally EVERY OTHER FACILITY on the app has onboarding "on hold". Past facilities no longer have a contract with them..... Try a different app in my opinion. 

A typical work day with Car Rev is awesome! I get to pick which surgery center I want to go to, they give you all the needed details about the center. Each center I have been to has been quite busy, so I totally enjoy that, it makes the day fly by. The people at each surgery center have been very welcoming and APPRECIATIVE! That is the best part, I haven't felt this appreciated for my hard work in a long time. Care Rev is very easy to communicate with, they respond to all questions quickly. I especially love the app, the part where it tells you how much money is going to be deposited into your account so quickly, that's very motivating as well.

I liked this initially, but over time they sent me to facilities that were below average, not certified, they would give me the heaviest load because “ nurses were tired”. I would not know where supplies were located, doctors were allowed to be mean, rude and obnoxious. They blamed the nurse every time when we were just there to help and do anything we could to make things safe.

This works almost as an Uber app. You get texts when shifts are available in the geographical and medical specialty area you chose. You can log in anytime as see what's available. You can even work it out with the manager of the facility to be requested & take the assignment immediately. They have contact with a ton of surgical center spanning much of California. The rates are pretty competitive, and  there's even an option to negotiate your wages with the facility! I truly wish Care Rev would expand to Colorado. I miss working for them.

Initially was well with documentations to start but no work after a month. Right now, still no shifts to start working. Staffs communicated well with nurse, keep us updates. It takes too long to have shifts to work and CareRev should have more hospitals for nurse to work for. The options are very limited. It's a very good company and I wished to find this company earlier. If you want to start working here, prepare for months ( not sure exactly how many ), and still no work. Even all paper works are ready, still no work for nurse. 

There was a lot of misinformation and miscommunication from the company to the “independent contractors” and not a very good experience with the company it seemed like nobody communicated there because information was alway improperly communicated like one representative would tell me one thing and someone else would tell me something else not everyone was on the same page there with communication making me feel like it was very disorganized. I would thoroughly think things through whether you want be an independent contractor for a very disorganized company or not prior to putting an application in because it make it very stressful and makes you not want to go to work at all.
