What is the best part of working at the company?
If you like working at different health care facilities, this may be for you. During my time there, I was at 4 different facilities in the AV. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The faculty are not given lesson plans; you write your own lesson plans. And, you may be assigned to different levels of students all in the same week. I did not get to follow up with students after a class. Rushed from class to class. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Senior leadership is good, SDA values. The VN program needs better leadership as of 12 2022. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
A typical day: arrive at the clinical site at 0645, make student assignments, follow the students through the day, with emphasis on the level skills: first level students focus on nursing assistant skills and ADLs, more senior students focus on assessment, medications and nursing procedures.

This company has nepotism at its finest. The whole company is run by the family members of the CEO and none of them are held at the standards necessary for higher education. If you aren't in the good graces of the family members expect to be treated poorly and retaliation. There is a lot of micromanaging and ZERO accountability. It can take forever for you to be considered for a raise, and they prefer to instead hire people that don't have the experience at a cheaper rate. There is a big turnover with staff and ALOT of gossiping tends to happen. All of these things make CCI the absolute worst place to work at. I just got the experience and left to a way better place. Steer clear of this school

The reward of feeling proud when the students get it!! When the understand the process and how it effects patient care.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
None! It’s exciting and rewarding!!

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Team, family, and drive to further your education.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I work mostly in the clinical setting with the students. That is in the hospital. Though, I go into the office to prepare for the clinicals or for the NCLEX review

This company is run by family members who only care about themselves. They pay family members and family friends way above average and then compensate by paying all other staff the bare minimum. All of upper management including Directors, Campus Directors, and Executives are uneducated, inexperienced, and completely incompetent. Working for this company, you learn they cover up a lot of lies to avoid legal repercussions both with employment laws and with their school accreditation. I have never worked for such a terrible and unorganized company like this one. 

What stands out about this company is the poor leadership. I think I may have enjoyed working for a fast food chain at minimum wage over this job. At least with fast food you have a chance to move up. If you are not family or "with" a family member you will have no chance for advancement within the company. And to top that off, you can't have a voice or say good bye. The only reason I ever worked at the company is it started off as a good place to work with great coworkers and once management changed it was all game over.

Wouldn't recommend to work or go to school at this place. I worked here for an unfortunate amount of time and learned a lot about how ridiculous it is. Basically this is a family owned business, so anyone related  "does no wrong" regardless of the situation. There is a HUGE turn over rate, management is horrible & chooses favorites, there is an incredible amount of gossip & unprofessionalism among all 3 campuses.

Close to home easy access , Close to shopping.

The bosses their  inability to understand needs

Toxic to unfair with promotions

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Stressful unappreciated . No help with the needs of the specific department focus on one.

It is more about making the employees that are family happy. They do not care about anyone else. Pay is horrible. Campus director in Lancaster is mean and has no idea how to run a business. She is married to the owners son, who is apparently in charge of Admissions at all campuses. He is a cheat. He only cares about enrollments. He will violate any law or policy to get people enrolled. His brother and him gives people the answers to the entrance exam.

Everyone that works here is very Sweet.  All about politics make friends with the people above you so they can keep you. If you're not close with the people above you they will fired you without reason. They actually make you sign something that saids they can fired you at any time without reason. No room for growth poor training. Student get away with murder so they let them treat you bad. It's inside a mall so looks like a job.

As long as you do your job and make consistent efforts to communicate with your department and upper management, CCI is a great place to work.  You need to have an open mind and a high level of understanding since you might be working with students. It is important to be empathetic while at the same time following institutional policies. Hard work and dedication does not go unrecognized.
