Carida Insurance is hands down the best sales job I have ever had. The leads (both inbound and outbound) are very strong, the office is both very comfortable and high energy, and there is no experience necessary in the health insurance industry in order to be successful as they provide excellent training and development. The company also truly cares about it's employees. As a parent of two young kids living in the age of Covid, they have been far more than accommodating with the various situations to arise in my daily life. The hardest part of the job is that the each sale can range between 60-120 minutes so it requires a lot of talking which can occasionally be difficult on your voice box.  The most enjoyable part of the job is simply knowing that when I come in to the office every day I have a chance to make sales without having to cold call strangers all day.

Here at Carida, you can expect next to no training, followed by getting thrown to the wolves one limb at a time. They tell you that you're a salaried employee, but only so they can expect you to work outside of your normal hours. Once you have any turmoil in your life, suddenly you're hourly and getting partial paychecks. The pay is a joke, and don't expect any commission unless you can bring in over 30 sales a month. They act like their commission structure is the best in the industry, but I can tell you its far from it. They'll tell you that you're an INBOUND representative, but this is a lie. They pay telemarketers to trick people into being transferred to you so you can do all the work of an OUTBOUND sales rep, minus the salutation. The goals are exorbitant, and the stress that comes along with said goals is endless unless you can adhere to their ridiculous standards. And lets not forget that they save all their good leads for their top agents. So good luck getting those "Bonuses." So, if you want to work in a place where your work wont matter, where your job duties will change without notice, where you're set up for failure, and then told its your fault, then Carida is the place for you. But I'd advise you stay away.

Fun / high energy work environment......  cool office, ping pong, music, TV's, and sometimes they bring in Lunch or breakfast.  Keeps your attitude and enthusiasm up.   

Management will listen to your calls and coach you on the areas you need help in.  At first this seems like a little much, until you try what they say and it works.....  your sales numbers increase.  The support staff really wants to see people do well, and are always available to answer questions.  

Upper management has periodic company wide meetings that keeps everyone involved and informed, this type of communication is uncommon, but not at Carida.  The transparency is awesome!

Get ready to work hard, the standards are high, but you get great support and a world class education in Medicare sales.

Cons:

Not many that is for sure.

Hours are sometimes long, but the opportunity is great.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Nothing was good. They're micro managers and more than one. I was part of cattle call 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
No breaks, micro managers in your headset. Gave you 15 minutes break am, 15 minutes in afternoon with 30 minutes for lunch. Management was rude and not supportive especially when a call dropped after 1 hr 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Horrible, big fashad to get you working for them. Promised bonuses that never came or you had to close 30+ just to hit bonus. Funny when you got close, more calls would drop right at signups so when they called back, they got someone else keeping everything in house 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
No flexibility, start 8am sharp or manager calling harassing you, not speaking professionally but like a boiler room mentality

Working at Carida Insurance Services has turned my job into a career.  In the beginning the provided training prepared me for the state testing and licensing process and could not have been easier.  The company paid for all of my state licenses and continues to add more.  

I have also been able to improve my livelihood working here as I have not only been able to raise my credit score over time but I have recently been approved for my first home mortgage.  This would not have been possible without this team and support.  I would recommend this opportunity to anyone who is serious about helping seniors with their Medicare insurance options and is looking to start a career. 

This job is work you have to work in order to be sucessful with this company.  If you put the work in you will get great results.  The workplace is great as you have music playing while you work and people are always there to help you.  Everybody wants to have an enjoyable place to work and that is how all the other employees act also.  Sometimes the work can be stressful but manageable.  That is any job!  What I love about this job is everybody knows what it is like during the stressful times but generally keeps a positive attitude.  Good people Good Management Good Bonuses and a fun atmosphere!  Like I said earlier I'm truly greatful for finding Carida!  It's the type of place you want to be a part of.  Kinda like a 2nd Family(Work Family)!

Carida has given me all the tools to succeed in an industry I had 0 knowledge and experience in. There comprehensive training program in unmatched. They will not throw you to the wolves until you are 100% confident and trained. Compensation plans are easy to hit with the right attitude and the pay is great. Leads are paid for which is very rare to find nowadays. I have seen this company go the extra mile for many employees when they didn't have to!

Start every day at 10am ,2 days a week for 30 mins we have a meeting with a mentor. While I have learn alot company definitely likes to micro manage, expectations are high and no excuses are excepted for low or no sales that day. Most calls are outbound  and beneficiaries are sick of getting constant calls so they either tell you not to call anymore or they hang up on you. It is not open enrollment the beneficiaries much have a special election period to enroll,and company expects at least 2 to 3 sales a day , not always achieveable but I believe company has unrealistic expectations.
