I was hired as a Retention Agent in Margate, FL. This job is easy to get, they hire anyone that wants to work. The training was complete bs...all we did was simulations, read out slides to PPT and practice in one of the main systems the company use. Training for 3 weeks was 9-5:30 pm, the next 3 weeks was 2:30 - 11 pm. Firing start in training if your background or drug test came back positive, the trainer catches you not computer savvy and having your cell phone at your desk. They make you work hard to earn commission money. You do sales, technical support, and cancellations. You basically a customer service rep but they do not tell you that in the interview. When you get to the floor with other agents, they were miserable, team leads not willing to help with Sup calls, altitudes, unhappy employees, and a young, immature High School environment. Most stay for a couple of checks, then quit.

I worked at QuoteManage briefly and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. While the role was presented as a remote opportunity with professional support, the reality was very different. Communication from management was inconsistent, and I experienced a lack of honesty around expectations and scheduling. 

There was no proper conflict resolution or accountability from leadership, and my concerns were not handled with professionalism. It felt like I was being set up to fail rather than supported to succeed.

I was excited about helping clients but coming to work everyday felt like going to war. My manager was disrespectful and talked down on us, her team. And constantly micromanaged us. 

This is a inbound call center selling Sprint phones and plans and with the main hq of the company based out of California.  It is a very competitive environment because like all sales environments everyone wants to be the best.  There has been a recent shift in culture to a more professional and business environment which was lacking before due to a few bad eggs within the building that are no longer with us.  With change comes difficulties but at the end of the day change breeds results and it is always done with an eye towards the future.  When it comes to the people I get to work with on a daily basis they are fun, smart, driven, and want to be the best.  So who would not want to work in a place where you're surrounded by people who want to help you be the best and are all striving to reach one common goal.

Worked for Centerfield Media (Qology, Saveology) for over 7 years. Time there was great. Though at times stressful with when your time was coming, we felt as if we were a family. Over the last 2 years once we were bought out by another company things started to change drastically and more and more people were being fired frequently. I enjoyed where i spent most of my time for those 6 years but once the changes occurred, i felt undervalued. Managers started to lose focus on the employees in house and focused on employees off-site in our other locations. The culture went downhill very fast. The new owners, unfortunately, did not understand what kind of business they were getting themselves into when taking over a call center. And the loyal employees suffered because of it.

Having some amazing team mates and making money to sustain the family by doing sales

The most stressful part sometimes is trying to maintain a certain average which sometimes us complicated

The environment was good at times however when u need one on one meetings with superiors it was hard to accomplish

A typical day is normally good as long as your maintaining a certain average

Highly stressful, management tries to do their best but the corporate ladder gets less and less interested in the worker the higher up it goes. The place is constantly monitoring your bathroom time, what you say, who you say it to, how you said it, its intense and the commission structure is constantly being adjusted when someone figures out how to make some money. Numbers are never paid correctly and we constantly had to go back and track our sales to make sure we got paid correctly. Overall the practices in the company are extremely aggressive, belittling and invasive. The amount of employee turnover is incredible.

No room for growth. Poor management. Slave driven one person doing 12 man job with no extra pay. HR is mean and antisocial gwaan like she better than people not even tell the staffs good morning when she is passing through. Hardly any support . no self time. Every week i have to go to my doctor for my stomach because i have to be punctual i was this close of getting stomach ulcer the acid was feeding on my stomach walls because didn't get time to eat or if i do i have to cut and swallow i wouldnt recommend any body to work their them soon lock down because all the staffs are leaving than staying sorry just being honest

Don’t apply here if you care about your mental health. This job will leave you feeling extremely depressed. Not an ounce of freedom or flexibility. You have to clock in an out of like 3 places for breaks. I couldn’t even keep up with all the rules. Training is so long and aggravating. The list goes on but I would be here all night. A million systems and steps to do an enrollment. Management has these rude, prison guard vibes. I’ve never seen anything like it… I normally don’t leave reviews but I want to save someone from a mental breakdown because I wish someone would have warned me.

The training was  great
The people was very polite. LittleDo you know behind the scenes?They're plotting on your demise.Talking how you're not fast enough by telling you , you need to move at a good pace and when it's all set and done your lego. No warning, no final. Just try goodbyes. I respect companies that tell youp front. What it's not sneaky games.  This is people lively it's not a joke. The insurance companies are all the same full of it YOU'RE NOT WORKING AT THEY SPEED.THEY CONSIDER YOU USELESS Experience was okay but the way they let you go is professional and cold don't waste your time.

The hourly pay is decent and they offer health insurance and a 401K.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Your ability to make commission is dependent on converting callers calling in about a food card to a Medicare Advantage plan.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
They micromanage you and keep riding you about getting sales even though the majority of leads you get are just calling in about an advertisement they saw for a food card that a lot of people don't qualify to receive.
