A help-desk environment that is an "Exhibit A"- example of micro-management to the HILT! Absolutely no training and a sink-or-swim onboard philosophy. Managers are generationally-born, tech guys that have attained great script-skills during their adolescent years, but have absolutely Zero management/leadership skills. If you hear the terms of: "backside, backend, backend”, etc., OR "ticket" either posted or spoken more than 3X during a shift, THAT is a definite red-flag warning that they are evaluated upon YOUR performance and nothing else of substance. THIS will be apparent as you are troubleshooting while gathering a client's issues or details and you will receive notifications of an automated SLA or some other bs trivial distraction from the customer-service that you are trying to provide at your best. NOTE: If they feed you and hydrate you well… IT IS A DISTRACTION!!! You are performing the ACTUAL work daily AND they even make you account/record/justify/PROVE how you WORK EVERY MINUTE during your shift. HELLO?!!!! → Why are your screens dated, while management has 3 or 4 versatile, ultra-wide, large monitors??? If you are in a help position, remember that you are the first ear when a client of Centre needs to be heard, but will also be the first voice to be silenced/terminated when you ruin their method of operation. The most rewarding part of the job is resolving issues for clients and providing service with a smile and delivering resolutions to the clients. Be true to that while you learn, watch for management that “works” behind closed doors, listen to the language being used around you, AND TRUST NOONE!!!!!!! Listen during the interview, listen while you “try” to work, and document EVERYTHING. 6-8 months then find a legitimate company to grow with instead of living poppycock on a daily basis… Your clients will always remember you while these vultures sleep at night. INTEGRITY comes first. Remember, some one is looking up to you. God Bless!

It's a help desk environment. With that said, phones are always ringing and it is non-stop calls for support service.  I learned that I should not trust anyone, and keep my constructive criticism to myself. Workplace culture is awesome, just know you can't trust no one. Show up and do you work and focus on 110% customer service and excellence in customer support. Management needs leadership training. Hardest part of the job is the micromanaging from help desk center assist managers and leads. The most enjoyable part of the job is resolving issues for clients and providing service with a smile and delivering resolutions to the clients.

IT consultants for Centre will be flooded with info faster than they can possibly absorb.  There is a team of consultants available to help when stuck.  Don't be afraid to take this offer and run with it.  You will learn what you didn't even realize you were missing.
The culture is great.  Everyone is treated with respect and ALL feedback is welcome.  Centre is growing and restructuring as needed.  There are a lot of opportunities.

Owner is clueless about the admin/finance department. They remained an afterthought, and after three years of working there he didn't even know me by name. Management tolerates toxic behavior from some employees if they serve a purpose, regardless of their effect on others. There are better MSP's in Houston to work for.

The NOC/cloud/networking team are extremely knowledgeable and quick to step in to assist with general questions and more advanced issues as well.  Talented groups of people with knowledge to close out everything thrown their way.  An elite group of workaholics. 

This company is extremely busy, it's growing quicker than you can keep up with, but the unique thing about it is the culture remains healthy even with that growth.

Also, management is passionate about the business and want to continue & help growth for employees. 

If you work hard, this could be one of the most rewarding jobs you've ever had. 

Management beyond the service department is awful, to say the least. The company is unprepared for growth and underpays its much needed employees. The politics here are insanely out of control-- it feels more like going to high school than work everyday. I wouldn't recommend taking a job here. The turnover is extremely high, so you would probably just leave soon anyways.

Now things may have changed but I waited almost 3 years to write this, upon quitting due to bullying. My concerns fell on deaf ears even with proof of recordings and then some.  Actually 5 people quit due to just that. They are a good starting place but now everyone and anyone can be a lead or manager. I wouldn’t make a career out of this place. The raises don’t really match the amount of hassle you get. 

You're either in or you're out of "the crew". You aren't allowed to "just do your job". The middle management is awful and they'll tell you anything you want to hear just to try to keep you in line. If you do anything out of step though you'll get grilled. Asking for a raise means an interrogation and intimidating you until you're reminded of your place.

There are a few really good people here like at any company but it's not worth putting up with the rotten core. 

This is a great place to grow for anyone with at least some experience in the Technical field and offers a lot of amazing growth for anyone that is in the sales department.
