What is the best part of working at the company?
One of the very best parts of my experience with Century Park was the leadership I had the privilege of working under, especially with Esmerelda Lee. Her leadership style is the kind you don’t come across often—steady, visionary, compassionate, and incredibly intentional. She created an environment where people felt supported, inspired, and challenged in all the right ways.
Century Park itself is a place rooted in purpose and heart. The culture, the commitment to serving seniors with dignity, and the sense of community made my time there genuinely meaningful. Even in a field where excellence matters every day, Century Park stands out because of leaders like Esmerelda who set the tone and elevate everyone around them.
My experience there left a lasting impression, and I'm grateful for the time I spent working alongside such dedicated people.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The most stressful part was growing occupancy during incredibly challenging times. Between shifts in leadership, changes in the market, and ongoing staffing transitions, there were seasons where the landscape moved faster than the stability we needed to support it. Navigating those variables while still driving strong occupancy outcomes required constant adaptation, creativity, and resilience.
Even so, those challenges also pushed me to grow as a leader, collaborate more deeply with my teams, and develop a level of agility that I still carry with me today.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work environment and culture at Century Park was everything you would hope for in a senior living organization. It was a place grounded in purpose, where the mission to serve residents with dignity and compassion wasn’t just written on a wall — it showed up in daily interactions, decisions, and expectations.
There was a genuine emphasis on hospitality, treating residents and associates with respect, warmth, and a sense of belonging. The leadership encouraged integrity, accountability, and growth, and there was a shared understanding that the work we did mattered. Even during challenging seasons, the culture promoted teamwork, support, and a commitment to excellence.
It was the kind of environment where people took pride in their roles, cared about the residents, and supported one another — truly a culture built on heart, purpose, and service.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
A typical day at Century Park was dynamic, purposeful, and centered around supporting residents and the associates who serve them. No two days were exactly the same, but most days included a blend of relationship-building with residents and families, collaborating with department leaders, reviewing occupancy goals, leading or supporting outreach efforts, troubleshooting challenges as they arose, and keeping communication streamlined across the community.
There was a strong emphasis on hospitality and responsiveness, so your day often involved stepping in where you were needed, supporting team members, celebrating wins, and adjusting plans as situations changed. It was a fast-paced environment, but one where you always knew the work you were doing mattered.

It is hard to believe that after so many years of giving my life to this company I was treated so unfair. I worked my fingers and toes to the bone for them. Not only was I clearly retaliated against because I was upholding state guidelines and company policy. They take advantage of the staff in addition to treating them unfair. They are not fair to the elderly that live there, they do not follow resident rights or the company's core values. Who judges you, who will make you responsible for your actions and the lies you tell. If doing the right thing is the company motto how and why was doing the wrong thing condoned by corporate representatives who did not care to hear or review the truth. God is good all of the time and he will always do the right thing. Before you judge make sure that you have all the facts. You can not be one sided as there are 2 sides to every story. There is so much more for you to learn from this and in the end you might be surprised about what you upheld. I hope that the tactics of coercion you used are the same that will judge you when the time comes. I am truly loving life and being with my family for the first time in many years. I can only thank you for today. You did not hurt me you made me stronger so I thank you for that Century Park. life will go on and i will move on.

Since beginning work for Century Park Associates (75 days new) I have had multiple positive experiences.  Getting to make a difference in the lives of others is a great thing we get to do here.  

I feel supported in my work and I am allowed the autonomy to make the best decisions for the community and residents.  Yes, there are strengths and weaknesses with any company and Century Park is no different.  I appreciate the grace that is provided and the collaborative approach there is from the corporate office to the community level.

I do wish that benefits (health insurance) was a more focused on benefit.  As with the majority of companies, health insurance continues to cost more and more with less and less benefit.  I miss the days of affordable health care.  The 401k match could be more robust.  I also would like to see an employee assistance program implemented.

Overall my experience has been great.  We are allowed to do what is right and make the best experience for our residents, co-workers, and others.

Former employee, worked for a very long time. Executive director is an awesome person,  professional, cares about the well being of the residents and staff. Director of nursing very dramaful, demonstrates breaking hippa rules regulations for her employees. She has no organization skills she will promote UNECESSARY drama. Instead of being a leader. It will be a better place if the director of nursing and a couple of employees who helps promote the drama leaves.  Century park made a mistake hiring the DON that has the position currently. Residents complains ED stays on her because she falls short. No one expects her to be perfect. To be the DON it requires professionalism, leadership, and dignity as an individual. If century park fires her and assistant. Alot of former employees would consider returning. I commend the Executive Director for doing an amazing job at The Bridge of Charleston.

Residents are my top priority, and our community is their home. friends and family will visit and spend time in our community. Therefore, my typical day is making sure it is pristine and presentable at all times.   Being apart of cleaning their apartments and washing their laundry weekly always gives me a chance to visit with them to be sure their needs are being met.  All managers here  work together to make sure our residents are happy, healthy, and safe at all times. The hardest part of my job is loosing a resident due to death or having to move because of needing a higher level of care. I  look forward daily  to walking through the door and having such a family, fun, and caring atmosphere. All the smiles you see and hugs given throughout the day  makes me so Happy and Blessed to be apart  of  our community. When my day is complete I always feel amazing when I walk  out the door knowing the residents are happy.

I love working for Century Park.

The residents at Bridge at Longmont are wonderful and the staff is like family.  I love the open door policy and the fact the "The only dumb question is one not asked."  

The staff has grown to love the family members just as they do the residents.  The most difficult times are saying good-bye to families after their loved one has moved on to heaven.  We know we may never see the family again however, several family members still stop in to visit with staff.  They receive a warm welcome with hugs by many.

I think the management team work very well together and are always there to support all staff.  

I would highly recommend The Bridge at Longmont (Century Park) for employment.

The corporate office always has answers to assist in any community.  Even though they must get a multitude of calls from different communities a day, they seem to make everyone a priority.

I was so excited to work here. When I came in for my interview everyone was happy and excited. It seemed like a great place to work. I quickly learned the truth they set you up to fail here and there is no accountability for anyone. Not any. The staff is not accountable to managers, managers blame other managers. It's terrible. The inmates pretty much run the asylum here and it creates a culture of resentment and bitterness. 
Don't get me wrong there are some people who are actually trying but you can see their hands are tied.

Do NOT deal with HR and this company's We don't have time for you ethics; misinformation, curt and Numbers matter not people treatment as well as a non supportive program they're exemplifying. They don't offer a good living wage, a happy environment or much organization, where you can proceed with confidence. They'll just hang up the phone and leave one with it's not even worth the effort, anymore. Processes are not explained and team playing is team unraveling and unhelpful. High turnover rate at every position which is obviouly why you are hired. Stress not worth the pay or how deflated you feel at this empty empire.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The best part of working at CP is the family culture that we have. We are connected together and you feel that you have been with the company for so long. Having a direct line to the COO of the company is rare but we have that amazing opportunity. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Thus far for me there has not been an overwhelming stress. Just the regular difficult situations where you want to ensure you make the right decision. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Our work environment is warm and welcoming. We are a family. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Typical day due to my position is productive and busy. There is always something to do and improve on.

The new Executive Director we got a couple years ago is really great. He is very supportive and seems kind and a nice person. He goes around every day and spends time with all of us to make sure we are being cared for. There are more employee recognitions of achievement then ever before. I also see the residents have tons more activities going on with lots of them joining in now. Things are really happening here now for everyone. I get medical, dental, vision, 401k and discounts on like my phone service. I'm really happy here and almost every worker here tells me the same thing. A great place to work!
