Stepping into the role of a Blended Service Coordinator has been one of the most rewarding professional experiences I’ve had. I’ve found the work both meaningful and motivating. Every day presents a different challenge, but also a new opportunity to make a real impact in someone’s life. Whether that’s helping a client access critical resources, advocating for their needs, or simply being a consistent support when things feel overwhelming.
The learning curve has been steep at times, but I’ve grown more confident with each experience. I've had the chance to build strong relationships with clients and connect with a wide range of community providers, which has deepened my understanding of how to navigate complex systems. There’s something incredibly fulfilling about watching a client make progress and knowing you had a part in that journey.
Along the way, I’ve been fortunate to have a supportive team and a supervisor who provides steady guidance and encouragement when needed. His feedback and availability have helped me find my footing without feeling micromanaged. It’s empowering to know I have the space to develop my own approach, while still having someone I can turn to for insight or support.

I absolutely love my job at Chartiers CRR as a Certified Peer Specialist.  All staff from top to bottom have been extremely nice and helpful.  I continually learn from all staff and the participants that I communicate with during my shifts.  Supervisor has been understanding and has worked with me on scheduling my shifts around other life events. Flexible. Most enjoyable part of the job is helping others with mental and or substance abuse move along in their journey to recovery. It's a very rewarding job for those looking for a job to provide meaning and purpose.  Work stays at work too which I find is a nice bonus.  I can honestly say that I am struggling to find a hard part to this job!

Chartiers Center has made a lot of positive changes and continues to support staff and the clients we serve. Chartiers center is special place to work! How many employees have the opportunity to talk to there CEO face to face regarding work or just a friendly conversation? I do! My director is supportive and gives me the opportunity grow professionally. Our Management team have longevity at Chartiers. Lastly, Human Resources dept is always looking for ways to boost staff morale, celebrate achievements, and promote within. I know this is a lot of reading but now it’s up to you to take a position with Chartiers Center a company that is compassionate, caring, supportive and encouraging!

While working at Chartiers Center the employees continually  amaze me at their dedication and willingness to serve others. This attitude is exemplified at all levels of the organization. I continue to be inspired each day. It is difficult yet rewarding work serving individuals with mental/behaivoral health issues, addictions, homelessness, and intellectual disabilities but the team members at Chartiers continue to serve the community tirelessly. The pay, benefits, and culture are excellent compared to other organizations in the area.

I have a manger that is very sensitive to personal issues and was very accommodating when it was needed.  I feel I have an open and comfortable relationship with her and she allows me to speak my mind.  I believe that my work/life balance is better than average and I am very happy.  I feel that the monetary compensation could be better, but I understand that we are not a large conglomerate and funds are different.  I believe that a job is as good as you as an individual choose to make and it, and I try to be positive everyday, and to help out in any way that I can.

Disgrace of a community mental health program! Monthly counseling sessions only 30 minutes, require weight/blood pressure for the vulnerable chronically MI clients. THERAPISTS/THERAPY NOT VALUED. Each minute of work time needs to be accounted for. Clinical leadership divides staff for control and incompetent, fraud, demanded false document license supervision hours.

All of the staff working there...they are empathetic...caring...loving...hard working...

When the patients would come for meds in the morning, some not in such a good mood.

The work environment was steady, with most of the days having a "special" event, such as food delivery, weekly meetings, etc.

Chartiers offers a stability, security and personal time off. I worked full time for  17 years for that company and I needed to improve my salary , so I went back to school. Chartiers can not give flexible hours or partime entry job that allows me to complete the school.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Decent pay.  Working conditions are good.  

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Occasionally understaffed.  Some workers don't do their job.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Overall good, supportive environment.  

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
The work can be taxing but also rewarding.
