You are required to provide a minimum number of hours which are reasonable. The flexibility is unparalleled. EVERYTHING is virtual, right down to your support staff. Concerns or issues are not addressed in real time. You are glued to your computer screen sifting through the companies "trouble shooting" videos or policies. Patients are allowed to schedule at any time; this does not always permit you to prepare accordingly.
You are promised patients, however, that can mean only one patient for the entire day or only a hand full a week. The amount of hours you put in does not match the amount of patients you are provided. You are paid per visit and compensation is not competitive; especially when you calculate the hours you are committed to providing. 
The company model is a good idea, but the CEO has no medical background; it's all business. Additionally, you are expected to onboard yourself without any real time assistance or speaking to a live person. 
It's more work than you are paid. 

I've been working here for almost a year now and it is ok. Training is very little and u are expected to bring ur own computer as a 1099. I like that we can go on our breaks when we like to because if they told us when we had to go that would be breaking the law for being a 1099.  I have been watching them to see if they break the law about what a 1099 employee is and i have my own opinions. the patients are super rude and don't understand that we can only do so much. they keep changing how we do things and they moved me department without no increase in pay even though i have more reponsbilities. i feel that i may leave this job soon since i dont think its fair to move up and be paid the same. were already being paid low considering were 1099 and have to pay our own taxes. the math isn't mathing on that one. circle should start to pay more considering there are many other competitors paying up to 8 dollars more per hour. i am already trying to make the switch. 

I dedicated five years to helping build this company, only to see management decisions undermine that effort. The company announced profits at a shareholder meeting but then implemented significant pay cuts for staff while raising prices for patients. A complete lack of transparency and a negative culture where providers were consistently blamed created a toxic environment.

Furthermore, the company never completed the provider enrollment process with insurance companies. As a direct result, patient panels dropped from being full to only one or two patients per shift at best. This, combined with the significant pay cuts, made it very difficult for providers to earn a living. Based on my experience and feedback from patients, I cannot recommend working here or receiving care from this organization.

overall contractors get very little respect. Our time is not valued. we are expected to have strings of patients that do not show and we are not reimbursed for that time even when the company itself collects a substantial no show fee that is higher than what a provider makes for a completed appointment. Support and onboarding is non-existent. You are told "we are here for you" and yet most tiny, reasonable requests from most providers to management either are blatantly ignored or minimized. transparency from upper mgmt to providers is very little despite it being boasted as a central part of the company "values". Shame, the place has great potential for company, patients, and providers alike. Seems like a profit first thinking from management is making this not be a possibility.

When I was there we built our own schedules. 20 hour per week minimum 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
It is an adderall mill. Or was. Grossly over diagnosed and over prescribed. First job I’ve ever walked off. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Extremely liberal. Extremely two faced. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Stressful due to the expectation to make the adhd diagnosis. They set the patients up for failure

The Best thing about this organization is the flexibility with remote work and the EMR. However they are paying providers the same rates as from 2020- in case they haven't noticed inflation is ALOT higher these days- talk about wage stagnation. There's very limited room for growth and they are peddling ADHD treatment. They leverage the UCSF affiliation and management provides very little transparency. 

It's been an interesting ride signing on with a telehealth primary care company that is growing and navigating growth issues, the pandemic and changing laws. Things change as the company grows, but good communication makes this manageable. As a provider, I can always reach out to colleagues and mentors for assistance. The workplace culture and supportiveness of my colleagues has been a welcome change from past positions. I set my own schedule, I make great money and I feel heard by management. 

If you don’t mind working for a company in which transparency is not welcomed and nepotism is very strong . I’ve never seen anything like it. It you just work and do not complain you will be ok. Just hope you don’t go to court at any time. Not sure they would support you in any way. If you are part of the inner “ Circle” you may be ok. Not supportive of providers. No respect by leadership. Sad to know adults are like this. 

I love the flexibility of the job and being able to set my own hours, however I like. I dislike that your contract with them will terminate after 3-weeks off the schedule, and you are not guaranteed your panel back when you return. You have to go through the whole onboarding again after three weeks. There is lot of support available. 

Do not recommend to anyone. Onboarding is disorganized and management does not communicate in an effective manner. Look for another company if telemedicine is your desire.
