I did not become a CNA to have a job, it is something within my heart that I wanted to do to make a difference in the lives of the people I was a caregiver to. This facility made it hard to give residents the proper and compassionate care they deserved and were entitled to receive. There is never enough staff to give the proper care. The pay is well below other facilities. The administration is very cliquey and do not handle serious issues by proper guidelines or process. The charge nurses on my shift rotation were by far the best I ever worked for. They never hesitated to jump in and help when needed. I loved my residents and always strived to go above and beyond when it came to their needs. I enjoyed having a set schedule. On the other hand, I was constantly called and texted on my days off to help cover shifts that were short-handed yet rarely were my scheduled shifts ever covered when we were short-handed. 3 aides cannot properly give the required care for 94 residents yet during my employment at this facility that was the norm on my shift rotation the majority of the time. There is no way to contact corporate for employee grievances with administration or other staff, especially when there are concerns with procedures and/or policies that are not properly or ethically handled.

Be prepared to work short any time someone calls in when you work the floor. If you’re promoted to management you will receive no training, and when you aren’t performing your job the way they expect they will begin considering firing you. Honestly, it’s one of the most toxic places I’ve ever worked. Management comes with the expectation that you will dedicate your entire life to the company. On call isn’t limited to the days you are actually on call, but will include any day they decide they need you. If you say no you are considered “not a team player” and they’ll treat you accordingly. As floor staff if you try to call in, even for a very legitimate reason, they will essentially tell you that you need to come in anyway. Zero skill development opportunities and you must rely on your fellow floor staff to assist if you have issues because management is never there for you. 

I have worked for several LTC companies and ClearView is by far the best company I have worked for. ClearView is not a “cookie cutter” company. They understand that each facility is unique and has it’s own personality, thus allowing us as leaders to make individual decisions that will yield the greatest outcome. Again, I could write these experiences in detail but reading them doesn’t do the experience itself justice. So the best way I can explain it is, it’s a feeling. ClearView gives off a certain energy, A Vibe if you will. One that radiates of positivity that makes you feel appreciated and valued.

What is the best part of working at the company?
This company fosters a positive and collaborative atmosphere. Staff members work well together, and leadership values open communication. It’s a fast-paced environment, but very fulfilling knowing you’re making a difference every day.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The most stressful part can be balancing multiple responsibilities at once. It requires strong organization and adaptability, but it also helps you grow professionally.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The culture promotes accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

I have worked with this company since 2018.  They have a great management team.  They take time to listen to any concerns or questions that the staff may have.  But most of all they take care of their residents/patients.  Our goal is that the patient comes first.  We strive every day to ensure that all patients are taken care of to the best of our ability.  Not only with physical needs but with emotional needs as well. We show them that they are loved and needed.   
Long term care has been my life and i can definitely say without a doubt that Clearview Healthcare is a top notch Management Team and it is a pleasure to work with them daily.

I have worked for Clearview Healthcare Management for a couple of months and I can say that there isn't much truth to what they say in order to get you in the door. I was told that the facility would be understanding when it came to time off but yet things that were out of my control were used against me. There are some that are good in upper management but others that could also utilize empathy which is preached to be necessary but when it is not utilized, how are others to use it or understand it? The hours are good and the pay is as well but there are points where the workplace culture is cliquey.

The best part are the great people and supportive coworkers

There is not really anything stressful about working for Clearview Healthcare Management.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Clearview positions its culture around collaboration and community. They emphasize diversity, inclusion, and a sense of community that supports both professional growth and personal wellbeing.

Work short staffed frequently, management is quick to blame you for not doing something, but not to help you when short. Feels like high school with people going behind others all the time to get you in trouble. Learn who you can trust quick or you will have a horrible time working here. The few CNAs, nurses and management that would support you have been overworked and quit or no longer care. Do not work here. Do not live here.

They lied about bonus structure, promotions, work/life balance. They wouldn’t  interview me for a promotion because they had someone else  in mind for the job even though they had less management experience. They lied and told me before I started that they had a progression for me in mind and even a month into the job told me there would be a promotion in the next few months. Not sorry that I chose to leave 

Chautauqua has a great team atmosphere where every employee can feel supported and valued. There are reasons to find joy in every day, despite some days being hard because of our line of work. There are opportunities for growth with the company and they truly do promote from within. This building is a place to work and have fun at the same time, and the halls are always full of laughter.
