I joined the Quality department with enthusiasm, but the support and structure made it difficult to succeed. There was literally no formal training, delayed communication, and inconsistent follow-through from leadership and from the IT department. At times, you’re expected to figure things out alone and if you’re new and you’ll not be included in important meetings or given the tools and resources needed to perform your role effectively. Quality department management doesn’t know how to lead and will often mention to connect via teams, but never does and doesn’t even care to update you about it. They don’t respect your time and will single you out on the first day.

Keep in mind that I’m not speaking for the entire company and I understand that experiences may differ across departments, but within the Quality department, you’ll question yourself if you’re being set up to succeed, or set up to struggle. Management often required outreach to members regarding test results that were completed several months prior. Delays in outreach could be concerning, particularly in cases where results may require timely follow-up, as contacting members months later may affect the overall quality of care and member experience. This definitely raises concerns from a quality perspective. This kind of quality of work is concerning for the potential of success for this company overall. It is concerning as it could affect the organization’s ability to grow and membership. Despite the challenges, the members that I interacted with were very pleasant. 

Also, there were technical issues within their IT department and also took time to resolve, which impacted workflow and productivity. While the company has potential, there was a lack of clear direction and timely support within the Quality department, which created unnecessary challenges and stress. If you work for this company, stay away from the Quality department. Often times, team meetings felt tense, and lacked a certain positive vibe and collaborative atmosphere to it. I hope that this feedback is helpful and valuable to others. You may want to consider whether this company aligns with your values and expectations.

Extremely Disorganized, Unclear work processes, Zero support, Sub standard training, Don't let them Fool you. I walked away from my career of 18 years to join this company because they offered remote. Gather I have 28 years of credentialing experience The work seemed simple enough.  Yet was not told not only would I need to learn my job. I'd have to learn the Supervisors responsibilities too in less than 3 months. They rushed training, literally no time to practice or get used to their processes because Supervisor was going on leave.  No reference material, was told to create my own. Credentialing Supervisor zero personality, no encouragement little to no direction, ZERO leadership skills and is an intense micro manager. I complained to HR my 1st week. Nothing done to change the behavior. They talk alot about helping fix situations but they don't.  Senior Leadership bias because your the new comer. Previous Specialist warned me of Supervisor's poor behavior. REAL COMPANIES encourage, support and help employees succeed. THIS COMPANY DID NOT! THEY FAILED ME and ignored my concerns and complaints., best advice I could give anyone is steer clear of this place.  Don't think it won't happen to you.  They have a high turn over. 

I work in the company for 8-9 months or so and everyone treats me very well!  I had finished most of the goals and work is not hard to do, also I have get rewards and bonus, commissions multiple times. 
I got my insurance license and my manager is giving me plenty of time to study. 
Since this is a start up company, it requires you to be proactive and figure out the best and most efficient way to do your job. Even develop your role in a position, share suggestion and ideas. People in the company are very nice, communication is fast.  
The pay is not that high, but they do reward the people who contribute well. 
I myself for sure was not the most hard working staff but I do figure out what is the most important things for my role. I actually need little supervise and I still get my job done well and easy. So it really depends on each position and how you see it and how you do it. My over all experience here is great! 

 
 

I was kind of hesitant when going through the interview because it was quite easy and it seemed like they were very desperate to hire me. I was hired into the broker support team. The whole organization was very unstructured and people did not know what they were doing. Everyone was always throwing their responsibilities and problems onto you. It was hard for me because I had to solve so many problems. I had to go through so many people to solve a very little problem. The people that managed the accounting were so rude. I was literally so stressed out and not a single person acknowledged all the problems I solved when I was there. When I told them I got a better job offer somewhere, they shrugged and said they couldn’t pay me more to keep me. That’s why I left the company along with everyone else on my broker support team. I am in such a better place now. Don’t waste your time with Clever Care. They don’t care about you. 

I started with this company in the beginning. It is still a startup and cannot compete with the bigger health plans. There are no raises ever even though you go through performance reviews. Commission structure every year has been cut. There have been months were I got 0 commission. 
They cut the reimbursements for your personal cell&home internet and I am a remote employee. No company credit card but you are expected to spend your own money for business clients. So constantly every month you will come out of pocket and you will never catch up. Do yourself a favor and research the company and the reviews. Employees don't stay around they come and go like a revolving door. I am glad I found another company with a real strong foundation. Don't work for a startup-cause it won't be driving anywhere and will break down soon. Signs are there 

I have entered the corporate space after working for small health agencies for over 7 years and finally feel like I have found my home for my ambitions. I developed and mastered some of my administrative skills in those 7 years to really make them shine here at Clever Care Health Plan. The culture of collaboration and the welcoming graces from everyone has made it such a wonderful place to work. Yes, the work can be very challenging, but I am in a season of life where this is exactly what I need to fulfill my ambition as well as my creative energies. I see myself here for a really long time and hope the company grows and maintains their wonderful employee engagement, culture of collaboration and understanding that each employee is key to reaching its ultimate goals. 

I am incredibly grateful for my experience with Clever Care Health Plan. From day one, I’ve been welcomed by an amazing group of people who made me feel like part of the team. My leaders have taken me under their wing, providing me with invaluable knowledge, skills, and support to help me succeed.

I love coming to work everyday.  Being a startup company, there are so many exciting things I can do which make the work days go by super fast.  My typical day at work with new assignment is that my boss assigns a task, asks to let her know if I need additional help to complete it, communicates on expected due dates then leave me alone.  That is it!  No micromanage!  This is what I love most about my job and this company.  Note that this is a startup company so if you are creative, work hard and have a positive attitude then there are plenty of opportunities career wise for you.  On the other hand, if you have never worked for a startup company before you may need to reconsider and have a different mindset coming in.  Overall, this is a great place to work for me.

You get to work from home, I didn't experience anything else that was good about this company. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The company's inability to be open minded about new ideas lots of old processes, With no desire to change. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
There is no culture to this company, One hundred percent fake all around.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Making heads or tails of the assignments given to you. Because there's zero training no reference material and supervisors lack leadership skills. There is also language barriers.
