While I worked within the facility for short period of time, my overall experience was negative. The posting  for the position was filled with opportunities and extensive benefits, one being of which a flexible schedule. My first week on the Columbia River Health campus was incredible, it was not until the administrative assistant returned that productivity and overall moral decreased rapidly. Myself and another HR individual were held to a standard in such the administrative assistant did not hold their self too, when their work load because to much or inconvenient it was pushed on to myself and one other member of the team. With minimal direction it became difficult to determine what my actual job description was. I was quickly shoved into an office at the opposite end of the clinic and when I brought my concerns to the table. Narcissistic behavior took over from the individual whom claimed to be an Administrative assistant. I began having extremely negative interactions, from cunning emails to snarky text messages regarding my shorter breaks to maximize productivity. When any clarification regarding a project or task was asked, I felt belittled as well as an inconvenience. I have a two week notice filled with emotions expressing my concerns and the next day when I arrived on shift I was locked out of my office and told “this isn’t a great fit.” I took the high road, and sought other employment. It’s a same such a cruel individual is in charge of such a wonderful place. 

Upper Management - Has tendencies to corrupt a vulnerable culture, day to day work balance is terrible as the previous leaders have little to no health center knowledge but “believe they are very experienced to make decisions”, belittle employees, choose favorites and make it known. Seem to have a “employees are disposable mentality”. 

If you are able to feed the egos of directors and stay on their good side, you will have no problem here. 

Be sure to study and learn about BOLI Laws, HIPPA regulations, and what HRSA requires because there has been misconduct from many people here. 

Employees/Providers - All staff seeing patients everyday are The best and work hard to provide an incredible service to patients. If there is any reason to keep going here, it is because of amazing providers, awesome medical assistants, thoughtful receptionists, and hard working people in the lab treating patients correctly and appropriately.

I would check the schedule to see if there has been any changes to the schedule I printed out the day before. make sure the patient has any update that needs to be address for the day. Then I would get rooms set up for the day. Check my messages, and my patients referrals. once the provider has come in we would huddle for the day and go over the schedule for  the day. 
The Hardest part of the job was we were urgent care provider so if there was a walk in we had to try and find place to put patient in his already busy day. This at times may seem crazy but was also exciting due to not knowing what was going on behind the door. it could be broken arm or leg to laceration.

The staff is amazing. Truly dedicated to patient care, going above and beyond daily. It was a privilege to witness their dedication and compassion. 
For my personal experience, my boss was difficult to please and didn’t communicate expectations clearly. Projects were micromanaged which limited my ability to contribute. I was not comfortable voicing my concerns. Multiple daily urgent tasks not relating to my role. Interrupted multiple times a day for unproductive venting. Huge disadvantage for me career wise. 

The clinic is open Monday through Friday, so no weekend work.  Management values employees and works hard to provide a good work-life balance.  Is supportive of education and promotes from within when able.  Caregivers love their patients and go the extra mile for them.  Hardest part?  Probably varies from position to position, but I've not experienced anything negative.  The most enjoyable part of the job for me is the people.

To start off with, the whole environment at work sucks. You constantly feel uncomfortable and teamwork doesn’t even matter with the rest of your coworkers not to mention if you’re not liked or praise the manager that is there now, you are a nobody. The pay is garbage and the work is too much especially for pay. Management is a joke and she is very unprofessional, I’ve convinced people to not even apply if they don’t plan on trying to become a favorite or constantly want to feel harassed. So far the worst job I’ve ever had and I highly encourage people to find work elsewhere. This place is a joke 

I take pride in working for Columbia River Health because we prioritize our patients’ healthcare needs first.  We give our patients options when it comes to their medical bills and offer a discount program for the uninsured and underinsured.   Its always busy in the Revenue Cycle Department and I learn something new everyday! Great team environment.  The clinic has a fantastic benefit package and you can accrue paid time off quickly. Coming to work at Columbia River Health really is a joy and makes me feel good about the work we do at the clinic. The atmosphere created by supportive management and helpful co-workers is a positive environment. I love being a part of an organization that truly cares about their patients and this community. It gives me pride to be a part of a clinic that goes above and beyond to help their patients.   CRH supports personal growth and education. This is one of the best places I have ever worked!

I have been with CRH for over 3 years now and during my time here I have worked in many areas like Reception, Medical Records, Referrals, Transportation, and Medical Assistant. I have had many amazing opportunities and chances to improve in every field I have been in. The managers are amazing and are very dedicated to make you feel appreciated and welcome at work. They are also understanding when it comes to life away from home and work with you and your schedule. We also get to celebrate many holidays and have paid time off. Overall, the best place I have worked for. 

I really enjoy my job at Columbia River Health. It has come a long way and has improved in so many ways. The environment at the clinic is great and there are so many amazing people you meet and get to work with along the way. From my past job to this is a huge change, in a positive way. Team work is such a big thing here and appreciation is too. I have learned so many things and it has helped me improve my customer service and people skills along with other skills too. It's involved in the caring for our community and trying to provide the best care for it.
