Complete Recovery

Working at Complete Recovery was a mixed experience, but overall it was frustrating and draining. The technology and systems felt outdated and clunky, which made daily work harder than it needed to be and added stress to an already pressure‑filled job.
Training was surface‑level and relied too much on quick walkthroughs instead of solid, organized documentation that agents could reference later, so it often felt like you were set up to fail rather than succeed. Management communication was inconsistent, and expectations did not always match what was described during the hiring process, especially around the type of collections work and performance standards.
On the positive side, some coworkers were supportive and created a sense of teamwork, which helped on tougher days. But between the tools, the training gaps, the constant pressure from angry customers, and the instability that comes with high turnover, this is not a place where many people will want to stay long‑term.

Not a good company. A lot of empty promises. Had meeting about 3 times a month that were completely useless. No issues were fixed within the company. The manager would constantly listen to your calls and start talking while the consumer was on the line. It was hard to concentrate on the consumer when managers were also in your ear. The managers have no idea what they are doing. Since managers don't know how to train their new employees properly; you will receive a lot of calls from consumers yelling at you because of the employee's error. Earning commission is impossible! An old employee was the top collector and would always get commission checks but after they made a change to the company he had to say goodbye to the commission checks. The company has made it a lot harder to earn commission.  Get ready to be micromanaged like crazy, with no chance at earning commission, and deal with rude consumers. 

Complete Recovery use to be a great place to work, it was a family environment until they started canning people that were tenure or demoted a lot of their employees back to the phones. They can’t keep managers no longer and have no stability to keep employees it’s became a revolving door. The starting pay sucks and not worth the headache of dealing with the repetitive mad customers that you have to call repeat daily. Upper Management has poor communication it was horrible, they set you up for failure more than success for the job. Got too big for their britches as the fastest growing company and lack of leadership to handle it all. I would recommend somewhere else. This is coming from someone that dedicated a lot of years in to one place to get nothing in the end of it. 

The company is completely disorganized. The training was the worst training I’ve ever attended. It’s virtual training, there’s no one walking around and helping, you get so lost in training because there is no structure, it makes a smart person feel dumb, you’re going through a PowerPoint the whole time. Commission sucks, you’re making 60 cents if someone follows through with their “promise” and let me tell you, that doesn’t happen often.  Management is fake. Their reputation is in the toilet so the customer base is 90% angry customers. They brag about end of the year bonuses and it’s a $15 Amazon gift card for working there for 180 days. If you decide to work from home, they demote you $1. Don’t waste your time applying here, there’s a reason they have such a high turnover rate. 

Typical day at work is back to back screaming customers. Management that does not respond to chats for help and other representatives that don’t know the policies either giving answers that are inaccurate or conflicting with another representatives answer. Training is less than sufficient to do the job and management that doesn’t care to call you by the right name! And will fail to correct your time card even if you make a note on it of the correction needed as well as message them to correct it. And the culture is to lure Representatives in with a false expectation of an average bonus. When more that half the representatives are eligible for one and of the small portion that gets a bonus it is average of 400 a month. 

It was the most laughable job ever. I was a manager briefly, and the other managers constantly trashed the staff behind their backs. The workforce management department had no idea what they were doing. Manager competed with each other like petty high schoolers. I’m pretty sure their entire operation is a violation of the FDCPA. And they do really shady work for the Republican National Comittee that I  believe are campaign finance violations. Everyone from team leads to the CEO are completely incompetent. And the “bonuses” are a joke. Like $50.00 extra a month on an income of $12 an hour. So you still make less than most call centers pay hourly.

Complete Recovery used to be a great place to work. It was once a place where you felt like family and like you mattered.
With 2020 came changes in Management and direction, and they no longer care. Complete Recovery is solely about the bottom line.
They hire you to  get equipment back, then make you do collections for Comcast.
The best thing about Complete was their Managers, they all truly cared about you and wanted to you make it... they have all left... that should tell you right there!!! Complete is not a place a would recommend. Low pay, high expectations ABSOLUTELY NO APPRECIATION!!! 

This was a fair easy, low stress level position which made it nice to come to work. I enjoyed helping customers, the job and products itself, and I feel I excelled at this position. The management wasn't at its best. There were scheduling issues and late pay, and the management wasn't always helpful with fixing these problems. But overall, it was not a bad place to be employed with.

I like the management I think they have our best interests in mind.  I like the innovation and the benefits. I dislike the training and hiring process. It seems like more agents being trained in the past year are not as prepared as they were before because I am seeing a lot more errors in areas where there weren't any errors before.  I would also like for the hiring manager to start checking reference because I never hear them doing anything like that and I sit pretty close to them. I think it would help weed people out. I feel the revolving door  hinders my own advancement and pay.
