If you’re looking for something to make money with no expectations of staying or this being your career. Then go for it. This company will tell you this is soft sales during recruitment and then when hired it’s totally different. I was told when questioned the soft sales part. That if I don’t get a schedule it’s fine I can move on to the next person, I won’t be penalized or forced to make a certain number of schedules. A LIE. You have to read from a script and learn rebuttals. You will receive about 6 QA scores a month and if you’re not following the script verbatim or throwing out the correct rebuttals. Your Qa will be low. Which Qa has to be 90% or higher. Their expectations are extremely high. You must make 15 schedules a day, so much for soft sales. They don’t change your schedule so you can be stuck with the schedule you were hired with for months or even years. They also don’t promote you or move you to another position unless it’s beneficial to them. Or you’re a top seller and meeting company satisfaction. Even if you are a great CSR and sales is just not for you. You must perform top notch for a shift bid that they never even notify the entire company is happening. A shift bid should be sent out to all employees and based on your performance level compared to someone else wanting the same shift should come down to who is performing better. No they don’t even send an alert shift bids are happening like they do everything else. New people can get hired and they can get a better shift upfront before someone who has been working there for months. You have to ask about changing your schedule and then that is when you will learn about a shift bid. You may get a sup willing to work with you though, that’s a strong maybe. They will send you everything else, to boost you up to win prizes etc to bring in more schedules. Yet won’t mention the important things employees ask about. That is kept hushed and seems to be dealt so secretive. Overtime is available but only if you are performing good. Yet they need people to do over time, weird. Sups and leads are not on the same page, too many chiefs where higher ups act as if they own the company or wish they were HR. It’s hard to speak with Hr, you have to email them and hope they email you back. Must know how to multitask and take 200 plus calls back to back. You must send emails and chats while on a call reading a script and they expect you to navigate like a robot. There is no holding between calls or a follow-up time to help close and disposition a call. Every call doesn’t need a follow up but if you have to select a dispo on a file and someone disconnected on between the call. You better know how to hurry up and get to that next call. Even if you have to select, screen shot, complete a complaint form, send emails or ask for assistance. You must do this on a call, between calls or during your break which is your personal time. You will be micromanaged and even if your not meeting goal for schedules. It’s still some how your fault, even if people are hanging up on you or your getting voicemails. They will tell you that’s because your not speaking to enough people to get more schedules. When you can’t help it that people hang up, tell you no or get voicemails. It’s always something your not doing right. They think because people make 20 schedules a day you should as well. But a lot has everything to do with what campaign your dealing with. You will call people and convince them this is the best decision for them when really how the script is set up. You sound like a bill collector or telemarketer. Whoever is making the script doesn’t need to make another one ever again in their life. Even if you get a call where someone asked to be on the do not call list, they will still call them and if they refuse the visit. They will still call them. Leaving you to deal with a member yelling that you don’t listen or to stop calling them. They say you get incentives off the number of schedules you make after 100 or so. But if you don’t hit QA or some kind of metric. Just know all that work you put in to get all those schedules will be deducted from your pay out. So if you made $100 off schedules and your performance didn’t meet their goal. They will take some of that money back from you leaving you with $50 payout no matter how hard you worked to get that schedule and hoped the member completed it. You will be penalized some way. The fact that they didn’t sit on the call and made that schedule but will take money from you because you didn’t do something correct on a few calls is insane and unfair. Every call will be different. The job can be smooth and easy if they didn’t stress you out within the company so much. If your not in a higher position expect to get drilled or let go based off things most jobs don’t even stress you about. Some people are understanding in the company. You can tell that trainers, sups, oms any higher up get to relax more as if their job is not in jeopardy. They can take as many breaks, restroom breaks, call out etc. However representatives are just a number to them that can be replaced. If you expect a career out of this or for this to be a company you can grow in. Then you have no better expectations for your life. They can care less about your health or if you are in college etc. Good Luck, I meet some amazing bright and talented individuals here. From that, working from home and that little pay check was the best out of it. I even felt sorry for some on the members who was feed up and sick of the bs with these people. If your going to help people, help them don’t just set up schedules to get a buck from hiring people to schedule NP visits and have these people thinking it’s beneficial to them to help with their health. Someone can tell you a family member died and they expect you to still get a schedule out of these people. You have to schedule by any means necessary even if you’ve rebuttaled them twice. This is SALES. 

This is a horrible place to work! The company hires you and send you equipment and computer. The schedulers have you all over and not organized at all. They are rude and have no respect for the providers. They will train you to do assessments however will try and make you do care plans along with your assessments going into a month into the job. Average assessments is $100 dollars per assessment however this company will add managed care to your visit and ask you to do care plans which is further documentation and more time. They do not bring  this up during orientation because they will not be able to get providers to come aboard. They will have you precept someone and not assess your skill to see if you know what you are doing. The managers do not call or return emails. Very un professional and disorganized company. Company is not able to keep you busy with enough appointments so they will ask you to do managed care assessments that require care plans. You now are putting more then an hour with a typical assessment along with documentation. No growth and very selective. Car service Sucks and there not about the patients. Will ask you to precept Another provider as I mentioned and do not give you feedback or assess your quqlifications to do this and turn around and terminate the providers employment thereafter. Do not meet with the provider before making decisions and have no consideration for time or effort. They do not value there providers and this company has a very huge turn around with hire and fire.  Don't waste your valuable time!!!!

This is not a difficult job basically, but pretty boring and frustrating. It was unnecessarily   made more difficult by the lack of training however.. 

Job training lasted about a week then they sent you home to work.  They do provide  the equipment which is a plus.  But, the expectations for the amount of schedules you can schedule per day is unattainable on a daily basis in some of their markets.  

They have adjusted these goals somewhat but if you only get five live calls a day (out of 90 or 100 total calls) you cannot schedule  8 or 10 people. They do offer monetary incentives for high achievement but again if the market area you are calling is a tough one you cannot meet the goals and incentives are not adjusted on a one on one basis.

One of my main complaints with this company is the lack of communication from supervisors.  If there are new policies or plans in place no one bothers to let you know. 

Your market area can change on a daily basis and in some instances it changes from call to call with script changes and contact information changes mandatory depending on what plan the caller is assigned to. 
 
The working from home is ok but working from home is still work.  Many of the jobs are temporary with employees working through a staffing agency.  These employees are working the more difficult job market and the work they are  doing is more complex as they are servicing numerous health plans.  

I didn't hate this job but I didn't exactly love it either.  The pay is jusy ok.   I definitely would not want a career  with this company.

From senior management, to middle management, to the staff, to the product that CCS has - everything is a mess!!!! They are the most crooked, dysfunctional company I have ever worked for. They do not know what they are doing because they have people who have been out of the medical field or never in the medical field - IE - their Director of Clinical Ops is an IT person or the GM is someone in senior management's best friend. They absolutely have no clue what they are doing!!! Management's biggest worry is popcorn smelling up the office when they should be worried about the inappropriate documentation that their practitioners are doing or about the visits that aren't being completed, or that their staff have two jobs and CCS comes second. Their clients should drop them but they don't so someone must know someone. They do not care about the employees who then of course do not care about the members they go see out in the field. All the good management left - because they knew what a crazy place it was and got out! It makes it hard as an employee who does care about the members they are seeing to observe this type of behavior. Management and Senior management are inappropriate, HR does nothing about your complaints.

CCS does not provide resources for employees to succeed and then faults employees instead of fixing the more obvious problems with their systems. A typical work day is generally slow, contacting members who have been contacted already due to the lack or data and resources, data is exhausted and recycled which in turn causes members to become irritable because they will get contacted/called numerous times in a months time about the same service, in some ways this could be considered harrassment, which has been stated by members. Management seems to be very cut throat and under handed, cares more about securing their positions even if it means throwing subordinates under the bus. No job security or room to grow within the company. Hard part of the job is trying to find useful data to work with to produce the unrealistic goals they set for their employees. Only pro is that you are able to work from home, which is subject to change without notice.

Don't waste your education on this type of work

They did not care about your mental and physical well-being during the COVID pandemic. All they wanted was to get you to see as many pt as possible, so they could brag at their annual meetings about how much pt. they saw and how much money they made. Frankly, this job is meaningless because all it entails is information gathering about the clients and their PCP and then reporting back to the insurance company. 

As a provider, I found it difficult to fathom what it was that this company was doing for the client; you are not allowed to treat or order any test for the client while you are in their home. So instead, you make the suggestion that is sent to the PCP.  

THIS IS WHAT YOU CALL SPYING ON PATIENTS IN THEIR HOMES.

The money they pay you is not worth your time when you consider using your car, which is gas, to drive up on down all day. Moreover, when you go home, one client chart can get complicated, using up a lot of your time that you are not getting paid for.

SOME OF THE PEOPLE MANAGEING YOU ARE NOT CLINICAL. Just dot your Is and cross your Ts and you will be okay.

I am a current employee of  Complex Care Solutions and I absolutely hate this job.  I have never woke up in the morning dreading going to work.  This is the most inconsistent company,  everyone lacks professionalism,  they're very unorganized,  you don't know your job description until you are reprimanded. Working from home isn't worth it,  because they call you back into the office over every little thing.  Micromanagement is at its all time high.  The supervisors clock in from home and then come to work,  but yet they want to get on to you for going to the bathroom unscheduled.  The supervisors sit on they're computers all day and gossip and when you ask for help they make up the answers so document everything you're told so if you get reprimanded you can pull out your notes.  Let's not talk about the harassment of the elderly,  when I first started the job they made ire seem like the assessment weren't mandatory however we're calling these people at 8:00 in the morning until 9:00 at night 7 days a week forcing them to take an assessment. If you don't schedule 10 visits a day then you can be fired.  This company is a joke, I pray everyday someone calls me for a job.

Loved visiting members and often felt I was of some help. Too many manager changes although that may have been due to the many changes in the company. I always went above and beyond what was required and was also willing to assist as needed. Covered a number of member visits in another county when asked but that did not seem to matter in the long run. Member visits abruptly stopped with no explanation but may have been due to acquisition by Inovalon. Although visits tend to pick up again after the new year, makes it difficult during the times there are no visits.  Company does not tell you when you sign up that there are times of the year that they stop scheduling and you are left with little to no income. They schedule you all over the county without regard to distance and clustering. I might drive to one town, then to another and back to the same town,Very inefficient scheduling. My interaction with them was always on the telephone or e-mail.

Started with part-time NP position doing in-home assessments. Initial onboarding was a bit confusing and all self-paced modules. You are paid for the training, but had to review the material several times afterwards to understand some of it. 

Finally able to open my schedule and had visits scheduled right away. Once I was able to see the EHR for the first time, I had no trouble charting. One of the best EHR's out there. Dedicated to the task and very easy to follow. 

I've had several email interactions with lead NP and operations person when I had questions. Always a quick response with helpful information. No complaints at all. 

Patients have been grouped pretty close together so far, and I've had a 100% visit rate on my first 20 visits. 

Like I said, so far, so good. 

As for cons - You must be a self-starter, motivated and technologically savvy. There is no way around this. They use 6 platforms to schedule, chart, submit billing, mileage, web-based phone calls and telemedicine, and language interpretation line. 

You have to know all of them. 

I was hired to support their applications.  Day three I was pulled into the HR Directors office along with my boss she is the director of applications. Was asked point blank to Copywright use a previous template from my previous contract with Cigna Health-spring mirror their already existing Web Sharepoint Farm environment because their existing SP solution was 2013 which they did not like because of all the Microsoft cloud add on fees
I refused to comply and was fired the next day 
True story this Company is the worst of all worst Companies to work for I have been a consultant for over 10 years and have worked with the best this was my first attempt at a full time permanent employment and I feel I need to relay this information and my experience to everyone who may want to consider employment with this God aweful Company Trust me you are wasting your time!
