No support; "client's always right," even when violating legally mandated healthcare protocols, procedures and ethics. Had to work with some lower level employees from the same agency at job sites. To say they qualified by walking and breathing would be generous. Since I had to sign off and direct these people, I eventually became afraid for my license.

Getting through the credentialing/application process took weeks. Getting on direct deposit was a nightmare.

Pay was barely above what regular full-time employees were making, and at one facility (a staffer volunteered the info unprompted), I was making many dollars less. Uh, the idea is if you're a hired gun and you are bailing out short-staffed facilities, you're supposed to get premium pay. Makes almost pointless to work agency, since there are no shift diffs and fringe benefits.

It's a registry company like any other so it's flexible in terms of shifts, hours, and job sites, and whether or not you want to work on holidays. What I didn't like is that they called you 2 hours before shift, so if you had to be to work at 6am, they'd call you at 4am. Not cool. I'm well aware that I need to go to work. I just want to sleep. Leave me alone. Many of whom they contracted with were the worst of places, but that's a given due to the nature of registry. There's always tons of work available so long as the snowbirds are in/out of town, depending on what region of the country you live. Either way, if you don't mind supplementing livable wages for %100 flexibility and having all the hours you could ever want (depending on the time of year/region) and therefore making as much as is allowed on barely minimum wage, give them a call.

This is the only company I’ve worked for where you get paid less with tenure. You will sign an offer letter stating one compensation upon hire and then after a few months they will “update the matrix” aka your pay and have you sign a new agreement which makes you work harder for the same or less money. If you question anything you are treated as though you are being difficult and resistant. Managers are micromanaged by executive leaders and have very little control so even if you share concerns with them and they disagree with policy changes there is nothing that can be done. Executive management is lacking a moral and ethical compass. It could be a great company if they make changes in executive leadership to lead with a positive front instead of always searching for the negatives. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
Concentric has a lot of teambuilders including going to happy hour, baseball games, etc. The leadership is hit or miss. The owners are quite knowledgeable on the industry. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Lack of upward mobility, compensation is not the best. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
I would say the culture is pretty relaxed for what it is. This is a high stress industry, and it can be really fickle. Concentric does a good job of making up for the stress of the work. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
A typical day is a lot of phone calls. You need to beat the pavement to drum up enough candidates to ensure that the clientele has the necessary staff that they need to fill their open shifts.

the management is very disrespectful. Do not be surprised if they raise their voice and demean you. when you call off know that they are gonna give you a hard time. the hardest part of the job is not having job security you could go from 60 hours a week to zero a week in no time. enjoyable part is you go to different facilities and meet new people. You get to know how to work in different facilities and see what you like more. You get a super flexible schedule that you can create when you want to work and where( that is available on those days). but they pay minimum rates compared to other agencies and when asking for a raise you get discouraged and threatened sometimes.

No interview. Women that schedule you are rude. Don’t get sick and call out they will hold it against you even if you don’t do it often. Don’t work here if you have a degree. They don’t care to pay you for that. They favor some people so you may be getting paid five dollars less than someone that isn’t even as qualified for you. I can go on and on. Very unprofessional. Poor communication. You might get to your assignment and they’ll ask you to go elsewhere. No reimbursement for gas if this happens. No benefits even though you work way more than full time. I’d never work for them again and i wouldn’t even put them on my resume as a place of employment. 

I got this job as an income supplement after some unexpected medical costs came up. It took 3 weeks to find me a shift and the first 2 they booked me fell through. The next one they called me after i had been at the job for 40 minutes accusing me of not showing up to work. The next one was booked with the wrong population altogether. They pay minimum wage for a job that would pay at least $4 an hour more if i worked directly with the companies that need staff. The communication is also very poor overall. They dont communicate what shift they are booking until after its all set. I also never get follow up if they say they will call me back. Overall, I am less impressed with Concentric Healthcare than any other staffing agency I have worked with.

They lowest pay I've had since becominh6a nurse. Yes they seem to have a variety of work and keep you busy...but the lack of professionalism in on call staffing is Amazing. Not enough information when they send you out. The motivation for $$$ is so high. You have to really watch for your license since they won't tell you the truth about assignment till you get there. 
It's sad but I'm only there for their varied work. 
Concentric is a money hungry motivated by greed company that is willing to throw it's nurses to the wolves for money. 
One day...i pray they actually see the light.

I have worked for Concentric Healthcare Staffing since October, 2017. Pay is low, I have a BA, an MA and in March 2018 I will have an MAE.d.
Pay is low for a BHT Registry with over 10 years experience and higher education. The only reason I work for them for low pay is right now I am completing my second master's degree and I am currently in my practicum which ends on March 3, 2018. 
The culture is good at Concentric overall. I really believe that they should increase their pay and they would attract more people who would want to work for them.
I think they should ask for input from their employees and seriously consider what that feedback would be.

Tomorrow will mark the 1 month mark from when I was first contacted by Concentric. They told me they could staff me 5 days a week. Because of this promise, I ceased looking for other employment. 

I sent documents, filled out forms, took tests, spent $50 (my dime) on TB & Flu shots, and barged into my doctors office without an appointment and somehow managed to get him to do a quick Physical because Concentric required a release to work note. 

It has been 1 month from that original promise and I still haven't gotten a shift. When asked, they responded "it's slow now"

Don't make promises you can't keep. I did not have 1 month to waste. They put me in a terrible financial position.

I will be seeking employment elsewhere.
