A typical day at work would be completing take offs for released structures, answering questions on previously made products or general information about what our company can do for the customer. I learned how to manage multiple projects at one time and the ability to switch mindsets instantly for different types of products/projects. My co-workers and management seemed to be a small family and we all liked to laugh to get through the day. The hardest part of the job would be deciding on what to complete first if there were multiple jobs that wanted their products/drawings/information at that exact moment. The most enjoyable part of my job had to be when I was taught a new product type or how to do something new. I've always loved learning new techniques and methods on how to improve myself so whenever that happened that is when I enjoyed my work the most.

Thankfully, CP&P stays busy, which is a good sign because it means there is no shortage of work and that means stability even in challenging times.  What impresses me is the strong familial feeling.  Like every family, there can be dysfunctional and frustrating moments, but overall, it really feels like a big family. Like many multi-generational businesses, issues can arise out of differences in communication and/or work style, but in general we get along and focus on getting things done.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The office space and some of the co workers

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Working for a plant manager who has a wife who is the dispatcher and she in everyone’s business.  The worst job ever.  You will have to be a back up and no one can back you up. Too much work 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The worst.  Don work there. They under pay. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Stressful and busy. Especially at the end of the month or when the dispatcher is on vacation.  No help at all

What is hard-work? Firstly, it is important to define what hard work is, so that it can later be analysed. Hard work means not just working, but really giving our work our very best effort.

Work can be several things. It is sometimes used synonymously with employment. Or, work can be anything that requires effort such as housework or working on a relationship.

Hard work does not have to mean that we find work difficult, arduous or unenjoyable. Working hard can be something exhilarating and enjoyable which feels wonderfully rewarding.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work environment is a very fast paced job and the culture is great feels like a second family 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
You working side by side with a fellow team mate making sure each other is doing the job properly and safely

A typical day at work is a busy day as usual. I've learned that there is to much of politics going on with management which lead to not being trustworthy. The workplace and culture is new to me because I have never seen so much unprofessional mannerisms compared to many places I have been employed. The hardest part of the job is the fairness amongst employees. The most enjoyable part of the job is knowing that I do have a job.

A typical day at work begins very early around 1 a.m. to 4 a.m. and it is very labor intensive, very loud, and very dirty. I learned a lot during my time there and received training in forklift, overhead crane, and the management of hydraulic equipment. The management really knew what they were doing and my co-workers were good people. The most enjoyable part of the job is knowing you are creating a quality product.

There is a point system for attendance and tardy and they are strict on that. I operate equipment there and my boss is the best in the plant my opinion. Plenty of hours and overtime.  Company cares about their employees honestly. Vision and hearing test paid by company. Full benefits. A ton of incentives. Paid 100 for perfect attendance. Company is great. 650 for refer a friend. Good luck working here depends who's your boss, mostly everyone gets away with murder showing up when ever you want, calling off leaving early coming in late. If you work under the stuck up people you are under constant watch and they want you to work non- stop. Supervisor stealing like the rest of them including windshield wipers .

CP&P was a great company to work for. The location was perfect and the workers are dedicated. I enjoyed collaborating with the trucking companies. More importantly, working directly with the Field Contractors on various projects helped me display my outstanding Customer Service Support.
