CASA ABA agency will fail you in every level. They sale you one thing but simply can't deliver. It's a scam agency please do sign any contracts of any kind with them. There are lots of other ABA agency that will actually pay for your training. Stay Away

Here's what they won't tell you until after the onboarding training begins.
The communication is lacking and its impossible to meet thier onboarding training requirements because they only offer training once a month that you are not paid for. 
They will tell you they have lots of hours in your location of choice but schedule you on the opposite side of town which leads to more drive time than actual work hours. 
They still use paper data collection which adds additional unpaid time to your schedule. 
They require you to be available at peak hours from 3pm -8pm and only have peak hours which makes it difficult to supplement your income with other employers. 
Once they find clients actual paid  start times can take 3 weeks or longer
Intake of new clients takes 45 days or longer to process. 
They will tell you this is all normal for the industry but it's not it's just CASA normal. 
Overall the staff in Colorado and Adminstration of CASA are unprofessional, manipulative individuals that will try to blame you for their lack of professional management  and go after you for what they call training cost, which according to Colorado Labor department is "Not the responsibility of employee". Which the VP of the organization refuses to acknowledge.

The good reviews may be FAKE. Just to be honest, people get points that they can cash in for gift cards etc. When they work at Continuum and leave a good review. 

That being said:

Coworkers and leadership want you to succeed. They provide ongoing support and if you are a new BCBA the training could be really beneficial. The training was payed at a single price of about 200 for like 8 hours, meaning that you don't get paid well for your first couple weeks, since you don't have a case load, and extra training, and meetings aren't paid. After training, they plan for you to be hourly as they build your case. Paper data is used and they have very specific ways of running targets. I was given cases over an hour and a half drive away and asked to run telehealth, but parents would express that they were previously given expectations that they would see me in person. I would expect the same from a BCBA, but due to the drive, it wouldn't be viable with the schedules, pay and, travel. I felt like client's felt let down, and this plus all the other stress, pushed me to leave quickly. 

The people there were kind, and supportive, but pay was horrible, paper data was outdated, expectations were unrealistic, and good reviews were pressured.

I worked for CASA for about 2 years in the Denver Metro area, and my experience there made it one of the best companies I had ever worked for. I found the adjustment from clinical settings to in home and community settings a little isolating, but my supervising BCBAs always made themselves available through text and calls in the moment and provided extra in person support any time I requested. 
Things that really mattered to me:
- Scheduling was mostly great, I had a second job they were mostly able to work around with a few hiccups here and there, but ultimately (with some time), they were always able to give me the hours I requested. 
- I also really appreciated their cancellation policies relating to bad weather and covid. They always encouraged me to put my health, safety, and comfort level first. 

This company is a great company to work with. All members of staff and supervisors are extremely personable and helpful. I learned a lot about time management, as I started this job while being a full time student, having another job on campus, and being a member of various clubs. A typical day at work includes going to a client's home or school, performing applied behavior analysis therapy with the client, as laid out in their behavioral plan, and rewarding them when they succeed. The most enjoyable part of the job is seeing the progress that you are making with the clients, in regards to their personal goals. The hardest part of the job was learning the specific needs and habits of the clients, in order to tailor their behavioral plan to them as best as possible.

I was super excited about a job opportunity as a caregiver support specialist and a BCBA, however they gave misleading information saying I would be full time, but was extremely part time and hourly. I felt very misled and this effected my personal finances as well as me burning out within the field a bit. Parents could essentially make the client's schedule without taking any medical recommendation from the staff which led to little to no progress being made unfortunately. My job felt very not productive unfortunately and I felt very disappointed from the company and their lack in communication. It felt very much so money motivated as opposed to making a difference with ABA in client's lives. 

Great company for ABA and the clients are amazing, I felt good with my team and supervisors. Lots of burnout, no progress or annual evaluations set in place for RBTS, and minimal parent training (even though it is required for insurance and reports) .  

Client progress was slow in many cases due to lack of thorough follow up or consistency in intervention. 
Sadly even though the company serves a very diverse population, there is little true awareness of cultural competency at least across the supervisors I interacted with. 
good hourly pay rate based on experience! 

I love being a BCBA. The company gives you the freedom to choose the clients you want to work with and where, but it was difficult to get the amount of hours I requested. Their benefits aren't amazing, but they serve their purpose. I didn't feel that the onboarding gives everyone the information they need to succeed. Many RBTs I supervised didn't know the basics of ABA, which made my clients suffer, and I had a lot to learn after my onboarding as well. There are many people you can go to for help, but unless you know exactly what to ask for, you're kind of on your own.

Continuum is a great place to work. BCBAs have a lot of flexibility to take on clients wherever they want. I never felt any pressure to work more or take on clients completely outside of my area. Collaboration among BCBAs are strong. There are a lot of people who genuinely care about children and their families. Most of time, you are working alone unless you want to co-consult. Quality of RBTs are generally good, but there are some that need more hand-holding and training.

It was an honor working at Continuum, one of the best ABA companies in the game. RBT work is hard, and compensation is not the most competitive but that is an industry problem and not specific to Continuum. Highly rewarding working with individuals on the spectrum, and seeing their progression makes the grind worth it. The staff is incredibly supportive. Hours are also flexible; you basically create your own schedule and only pick up hours that you request or are available. 

Continuum has been a wonderful place to work since day 1. Management is always super supportive and helps you succeed at your job. The workplace culture is very friendly and inviting. I have moved up since starting and have held a couple positions so far. They have many opportunities for advancement if you can prove you can do it. The week I received my BS.B/HRM degree I got promoted to an HR role and have learned so many different aspects of HR. Continuum is definitely a very loving team of people who work hard to improve the lives of clients!
