Vulnerability Assessments, Security Surveys, close protection and corporate investigations to multinational companies.
Crisis management, development and implementation.
Client proposal development and presentation.
Training on the incident management plan.

Fieldwork to assure fact-finding.
Planning, implementation of countermeasures and report writing. 
Deliver complex problem solving and security consulting solutions to clients as a fee-earning consultant. Specific projects may include but will not be limited to enterprise risk programs, risk mitigation consulting, security plan development, physical security improvement, drafting of policies and procedures, operational risk management and contingency planning.
Ensure delivery of proposals, presentations, workshops and projects in line with Control Risks’ standards, industry best practice and client expectations.

staring at a screen monitoring threats to the company you are contracted out to.

Excellent opportunity for recent graduates looking to get into consulting at an entry level. Also good for security professionals with language skills and international experience. There is a large practice with compliance and FCPA expertise, though that is a specialized labor market where talented candidates at other firms are generally known and approached directly.  There are many truly excellent people who are a pleasure and honor to work with.

Since Control Risks is an international company, mornings are typically busy catching up with Europe and East Coast employees. People come from all walks of life (academia, legal, private security, business, marketing, journalism, IT, governmental) which keeps everyone on their feet in understanding a different sector. Employees are either in the office working on a project or out on project-based assignments.

They fired their entire accounting department to hire a cheaper team out of country. They have very high turnover and frequently let people go. It is a high stress environment that does not provide work life balance. office culture is very toxic and makes it hard to accomplish what is needed. Very low pay considering what they ask out of employees. 

Control Risk is a great company with truly terrific people.  The work is top quality by true professionals doing extraordinary work. It might be the most interesting global company with a superior professional culture while still maintaining close personal, authentic relationships comparable to family and life long friends. These are people you can trust.

Company was hit hard by Covid. Management is a joke and a lot of good people is leaving the company, including at director level. Work life balance is non existent.

Great opportunity to learn, grow, and bring value everyday.  Endless possibilities for the adventurous and flexible practitioner.  Global office locations.

As a GSOC analyst, you can spend a lot of your shifts alone so be prepared for isolation. It gives you time to work on side projects but being in the room by yourself you do not get to build any real network with coworkers.
