Great company to work for, pay way always on time, although sometimes it was a little off but payroll fixed it promptly. Benefits were okay, didn’t use most of them due to pricing, and HR was very responsive. Only issue I had (which would be a dealbreaker for many) I found out my recruiter lied to me about the job placement saying he didn’t know about the place too much but heard only good things, when in reality he sent someone there a little while before me and they almost quit because he lied to them about the facility and they talked to him for over an hour on the phone about it, at least that’s what I was told. I finished out the contract with him trying to give him another chance but the other time I had an issue he contradicted himself in what he said during my first issue with my job, which I brought up to him and he didn’t have an answer for me. I changed recruiters at the end of the contract and when I did, upper management reached out that same day and wanted to hear my side of the story, and then fixed things right. Every recruiter is different and you can have a really good one or a so-so one. Overall, the company was great and if it wasn’t for my experience with my recruiter, it would have been perfect.

I think I am very lucky. It's my recruiter that makes me feel this company is a good company to work with. My recruiter tried to give me higher pay compares to other companies at the same position, and my pay is also higher compares to someone from other company who is more experienced than me. 

She really cares about "me", not like other recruiters, who tried to take advantages from me. ( I have 4 recruiters in my life so far, some recruiters will trick you professionally, but the one from coremedical group she won't try to trick you. ) She tries very hard to find the job which suits me, and make sure I like the job location before she submits my resume. 

She called me a lot and make sure I like the position, and everything goes well. And I never have problem with my paycheck, always pay on time with accurate amount. 

And for my contract, I have to end it early without choice because something happened. She helped me a lot to get out of the contract without any penalty. 

Highly recommend my recruiter, and this company.

I work as a travel Nurse in a PACU .  A typical day for me is receiving patients from the OR some come wide awake and some come into the PACU with a oral air way in or nasal trumpet in.  I make sure that they are breathing okay, circulation is okay, blood pressure okay and dressing okay.  I manage them until they are awake and can make needs known.  I also manage pain and nausea before sending them to the floor or to Phase 2. 
I leaned the Epic computer system.  I also have learned about new surgical procedures that I have not taken care of before.  
My co-workers have been great.  They helped me learn the computer system since it was relatively still new to me.  They were knowledgeable and passed on the information to me if I had any questions. The hardest part of my job was just find things and learning everyone name.  The most enjoyable part of the job was meeting all the different people and working with different cultures.

A typical day at Core Medical is that your recruiter checks in regularly to show support and to see how you are feeling in your assignment. Building a personal relationship with your recruiter is so easy to do. You will discover quickly that they are very aware of how difficult it is to travel. Core Medical is very aware that travel nurses are in a challenging, "sink or swim environment." They are on your side when the going gets tough as they are keen, perceptive, and excellent professionals. I learned how to be even more concise and effective from working with Core Medical group. I also learned that there is someone on the side of the nurses they hire. The hardest part of working at Core Medical Group has nothing to do with them. Nursing is just difficult, period. The most enjoyable part of working here is being respected, valued, and praised.

My goal was to become a travel nurse when I started nursing school. I found my niche in home health nursing, but decided to go back to the hospital before getting into travel nursing to expand my options as a traveler. Working in the hospital only made me realize that home health was my happy place! I just wish when I left my home health staff job to go to the hospital, I’d gone straight to traveling as a home health nurse instead. I love the flexibility of being a traveler, 13 week contracts available all over the country, it’s an amazing way to see new places and meet great new people!

The hardest part of the job is being that go to that families depend on in the hospice setting when dealing with grief/loss of a loved one. However, it’s very rewarding and purposeful at the same time  because you get to utilize skills to provide the compassion, support and understanding families need as well as the patients you’re caring for. Core Medical has been the vessel to allow me to maximize my nursing profession passionately and effectively which is the most enjoyable part of my career. I’ve learned to be more than just a nurse. I’ve been a friend, a counselor and a good listener in my nursing career and I enjoy being all that I can be for whoever needs it.

Being a physical therapist contractor is not always the easiest route. It may mean more money and flexibility in terms of time off but it also means less certainty regarding contracts. There is always the possibility of being given a two week notice during your contract and then having to move on to a new place. CMG is reliable for the most part but the recruiters are sometimes difficult to reach and seem like they're being bothered especially if you're worried about your next contract/placement. Overall, CMG is a fine company but I would not recommend working as a contractor if you like stability and predictability. I would strongly advise new grads to stay away from contracting in their first few years, even though these companies will try to lure you with money and vacations.

This company is great for someone who is looking for an out of college stepping stone. The cons is you will not have any work life balance and you will be required to work outside of work hours to be able to complete the tasks they require of you. The training is great for entry level sales but you are micro managed and given very specific targets to hit and if they are not hit you are reprimanded. Their employee turnover is insane and typically of each time they hire 5-15 people 1 or 2 people will make it a full year at the company. They have fun company events and your co workers will be great but overall I wouldn't recommend the company if you work in sales. It is a very high stress environment.

Core medical is a great company for new grads out of college.  It’s a beginner sales position that is high metric and very micromanaged environment. It’s gives you a strong foundation and understanding of sales but there’s no room for growth.  Commission plan is okay and you can make a lot of money if you don’t care about your clients or candidates. This is a recruitment company so the only thing that truly matters is shoving your open job reqs down prospects throats.  Just like the movie wolf of Wall Street, you don’t get off the phone until your customer buys or DIES!  

Core Medical Group job placements allow me to experience multiple areas of the country, provide homecare to diverse population.  I believe I excel in planning care, achieving positive outcomes. I have benefited from many opportunities to work with hospitals, physicians, patients and their families and multiple disciplines within home care agencies and their providers.
The hardest part of the job was learning individual agency systems and to be away from home for long periods of time. I was able to make connections with other employees who helped me navigate new work place demands.  I plan time out to be at home between assignments.
