It is hard to know where to begin. I feel that I need to share what a toxic environment exists at this company, especially in HR. The turnover in HR when I began was staggering, other divisions would even comment on it but nothing was done about it. I wanted to join an organization to help build and support a safe culture for employees, but it actually felt like just the opposite. Team meetings had no substance, other employees were openly ridiculed and senior management would talk in circles about any issue or allegation refusing to take any accountability for internal issues. Suggestions and ideas were never listened to or implemented and any issues never got resolved. What an intimidating poorly run HR function, it is unfortunate - everyone knows about it but leadership refuses to make change or address the constant feedback which could help the organization turn a corner with its reputation. Working in the office was a landmine, never knowing who you cold trust and who would throw you under the bus.

The junior staff do work hard and often realize that the culture is not a healthy one, nor are they learning best practices by example. They find a better offer but Creative keeps them with a last ditch promotion in title and salary. This company really should be embarrassed about its reputation in the market, but they seem to think it is just disgruntled current and past staff. The truth is, many of us tried to make change but just got too tired of coming up against brick walls. I was yelled at in meetings. I saw non-compliant hiring and firing processes without any action. Favoritism is rampant at Creative. What a shame. It is time to get your company together or throw in the towel, there aren't a lot more staff out there who will take a chance on Creative after so many have shared their personal experience.

Dealing with customers and team members over the world and main office. Assisting at all levels and for all critical problems. Training new customers or users. Helping in Financial audits and reporting

The company owners are great people, however It's a place with no career advancement potential, promotions are very slow, and employees are way under paid when compared to the market value. 
the morale is really low, very stressful environment. employees are not invested into, there's no training provided.

The company culture is not consistent from department to department. There are no training or professional development opportunities. Opportunities to progress in career depend on relationships with management.

I loved the job actually miss it. I loved working with the director of finance &  organizing the tasks & schedule.
 The workflow was great & so where the fellow employees. Manacement was very helpful if needed, with all tasks.

Company is well organized and focused on models, systems, and processes that work. Competitive in the industry, with a better than average success rate in winning and renewing funded international projects. 

Amazing team.  We share the same compassion for the project at hand. I was excited to work with women and mean who had extensive experience and were passionate about supporting communities in need.

was okay.  not a career-maker.  nice office location near Metro.  family company and it shows.  talented junior staff, mid-managers.  idiosyncratic COO makes progress challenging, dependent on his whims and wishes.

Ok place to work compared to other USAID contractors. A good place to get exposure to government consulting or as a first job. Relaxed environment and not a bad work life balance.

The people at more junior levels were great and the work was interesting, but leadership is extremely toxic, creating a challenging environment for everyone. Would not recommend working here.
