Staff talk about each other BOTH clinical and front desk associates. The "directors" play favorites and talk to employees about other employees especially the only male "director". You WILL be overworked and UNDER PAID. They will throw you on the schedule last minute and you will be penalized if you cannot do it because they lack respect for employees. Barely any front desk associates have benefits because it's super expensive for what you are paid. During the pandemic they'll take you off the schedule for days, weeks, or months at a time than catch attitudes that you cannot work the days given on short notice. The front desk staff contain either 20-23 yr olds and 40-45 yr olds and the older ones want you to deal with them as a parent and they speak to the younger ones like they are incompetent or micromanage them like they don't get the SAME SAD PAY. YOU HAVE TO WORK 40 HRS/WEEK TO ACCUMULATE PTO!!! They will break your shifts up in pieces before you get that! I promise! Personally never called out or used my PTO for vacation time and only have 17 hrs of PTO since LAST YR at this current time; DO THE MATH! They will ask you to help cover shifts then chop up the hours you do have so you don't make it to 40 or OT so as long as they were able to cover their own backs. You will end up working 37-40hrs within 5-6 days when you could've never picked up the days they needed help with, worked your 36hrs in 3 days and relaxed. During this pandemic you're lucky if you get 24 hrs/week. The upside? 12hr shifts so you get your hrs faster. The front desk trainer is super nice but they'll only let you train for all of like 3 days then get annoyed that you still need help next week when you have the phones ringing off the hooks, curbside patients outside for flu-like symptoms, and the ones in the waiting room telling you their appointment was at 10am when it's not really an appointment but they false advertise and leave the front desk to explain things and when the patients don't get their way they leave nasty reviews about you meanwhile they don't realize you work 12-13 hours because you have to clean at the end of the day, they won't hiring a cleaning crew to come more than like twice/week and do your EOD report excel; no lunch break, can't even use the bathroom in peace but they expect you to be super happy. Your "director" will look at you like be lucky we gave you a job or even better "Don't like it you can leave" their favorite slogan. Never a "thank you all for being here" or "we appreciate you" the only thing you'll receive is a "Negative survey" forwarded to your email (seen done to other staff, not personally) or a policy update or what errors you made based on your 3 day training. Some of your employees are great people though the front desk trainer will be the only one to remind you that you're doing great. Turn around rate is HIGH. One employee recently walked out and never came back but they hired 3 more and never wonder why people keep leaving.

 Pay is barely over minimum wage. You're threatened with being fired if you discuss your pay with anyone, and they will fire you if you discuss your pay. YOU ARE GIVEN NO HOLIDAYS. Seriously. YOU WORK EVERY HOLIDAY!!!! If that isn't bad enough think about this, the turnover is so great that you will ALWAYS be short staffed, which in turn means you will always be OVERWORKED AND UNDER PAID. They state that they offer flexible schedules and will work with your schedule, but that is so far from the truth. 

The office itself is a miserable brown color, with no decor and no actual reception area. There are piles of moldy rusty chairs outside of the exits, the carpets are moldy near doorways, there are bad patch jobs on the walls etc. When you go to interview you may want to bring your own chair since there is rarely one up front. Also, knock really hard or no one will hear you.

The atmosphere is complete garbage because of the bullies that work there. They will try every maneuver to get you in trouble, so they look good and stay on the management good side. Honestly though, they are probably just trying to keep their job any way they can.

 The training is so bad its funny. They don't look for ways to improve, just ways to skimp by and make more money. Communication is very poor. They will tell you anything and everything to make you think that they truly care, but nothing ever comes to fruition. 

The newest Cycle Revenue lady is a chain-smoking moron. She runs around telling everyone there is "no room on the drama express -- Choo Choo" but she's the one driving the CRH Drama Express straight into a downward spiral. She hasn't improved anything, and the turnover is still out of hand. 

Finally, Andrea is pure sunshine, not. One meeting she came down and said, "You guys are spoiled b***** and are lucky to even have a job." True story, ask the girls that have been around for a while. She's pure sunshine.

If you're a new grad straight out from school with no experience this is a good place to get experience. They will hire anyone. 

Be ready to be paid extremely low pay. Be ready to receive different pay than your coworkers who have equal or less experience than u do. Don't talk about your pay or ask 4 a raise. If you do you will be told that anyone who talks about pay will be fired. They will make u sign a paper that says u will not talk about your pay. If  u do you will be fired. You do not receive sick time off. On the days you are sick u will either have to use your PTO or get no money/paycheck at all. If u are sick it is up to u to find someone to cover your shift. If u call out sick too many times you will get in trouble and they will take money from your check. U will be thrown head first into work 4-7 days after training and u run the clinic alone. No other doctor or nurse practitioner to help u with the work. There is no doctor at the clinic. U are it. Be ready not to take lunch break and to work until after closing. Patient's can come in up until the very last minute. The provider has no say as to how many patients he can see or when he can take the last patient. During flu and cold season expect to see 40, 50, 60 or more patients by yourself with no help. This company does not care about its employees. Doctors and nurse practiioners etc are simply means to an end and money makers that receive no respect and terrible pay. Some locations are worse than otherse. Choose your location wisely.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The best part of working for CRNH is the residents. The pay is decent but other nursing home facilities pay the same or more. they do have  insurance that is affordable if you work full time. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
work overload. most of the time a 12 hour shift you are responsible for 20-26 residents due to low staff or how the schedule is made. also if you are not a favorite then you dont get a permanent hall or a permanent partner with a easy hall. all of the hard residents are put on one hall. the easier residents are put on another hall and it is not divided up equally. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
CRNH is just like any other facility. you will have co-workers you can be friends with and trust and then there are the majority of those who are nice to your face and talk about you behind your back. many of the aides act one way to the administative people but are totally different when they are not around. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
very stressful and you are mentally and physically exhausted. the pay is good but not for the workload. you are responsible for the work of two but only getting paid for one. it is all about money to the company. they do not care if mouth care is not being provided, their hair is matted to their head or their butt is broke down. they just want to fill up the facility even though they do not have the staff to take care of these residents who depend on the aides to do what they cannot do.

This company is all about money, and they put profits ahead of its staff. There’s a huge disconnect between clinical management (RDO) and operations. I understand this is a business, but the expectations placed on providers are ridiculous. You feel like you’re on an assembly line or treated like a workhorse. You have no voice or choice. You are required to see every patient who walks through the door, no matter how short staffed the clinic is, how backed up you are, or if it’s 7:59pm. 

Depending on the clinic, some patient populations have higher acuity. Additionally, the MAs are not well compensated, and it shows in the type of people they hire. The good ones leave or move on to further their education. The bad ones stay because they’re short staffed. Management is beyond disappointing. There’s clear favoritism, and it gets in the way of professionalism. If I had known how things were behind the scenes, I would have never accepted a position here.

Lastly, the provider turnover rate is insane. There’s no support from management and it’s clear you are replaceable. They pretend to care about your concerns but nothing changes. The pay is competitive but you’re slaving away every shift. You’ll gain a lot of experience but you’ll also get burnt out… fast. 

Management is atrocious they will run one ma and one physician to see 40-60 pts a day working 11-12 hrs without a lunch break then they have the audacity to tell the person getting killed in the back we are making it to where you have to be cross trained to run the front desk so that they can have a lunch break what it is however is they are gonna make you run both whenever the front desk calls out. They refuse to accommodate my disability. I have seen employees fight each other in front of patients, I’ve seen employees fight patients and cuss them out on a regular basis. The place is a joke. The turnover is so high. One member of management will show up with a “friend” and want you to treat them under the table and off the record this happens at least once a week. So unethical. The place is a joke. They do have some very good providers really good providers but they tend to not stay long because of the stuff they are asked to do or how the manager allows the medical assistants to talk to the drs. You will drive all the way to Madison only to be told we closed this clinic today turn around and drive back to Huntsville or meridianville or just go home and you have wasted all that gas or halfway through your shift your told go to another clinic and work. 

I love working in urgent care. I loved this company until certain incidents happened. The upper management you never see. Home office makes you take patients until 8 am regardless of how many you have in the waiting room already. I though the pay was far until I learned that most new staff are not trained properly before they are turned loose to work alone on the floor. You have people who are not comfortable with skills because they are new out of school and this is the only place that would hire them. You have inexperienced staff given medications that they can not calculate properly, Starting IV's they they don't know how to start or monitor. Some providers treat you like you are beneath and when you stand up for yourself they get in no trouble at all while you are chastised and made to feel like a outcast because that provider is the only one they can find to work at a clinic. I am a current employee who would like to see change in this company but it seems like they don't care about trying to make things better just getting by from day to day with out having to close a clinic.

When you start, they seem real nice and flexible at first. Then they gradually just keep pushing more workloads on you as time goes by. I had the worst training ever. They showed me how to do the very basics in a very brief amount of time and they made me work alone after that. Every time I asked my supervisor a question she seemed real irritated as if it wasn’t their fault that I didn’t know certain things. The whole day you feel like a robot because they want you to enter in so many charges daily. You only get one 30 minute break. They only gave me thanksgiving off and couldn’t even give me Friday off along with it. The turnover rate is really high also because of how bad it is. They also don’t know how to use the AC properly. One second it feels like you are in the middle of the Sahara Desert and other times you are in Antarctica all within the same day. Some of the workers are cool there, but some are weirdos. Once you start working from home they want you to do things that they never explained to you before so you have to call them over the phone and they still don’t know how to explain it properly. NOT WORTH IT. 

The only positive thing about this company is working with great people and the experience you will gain while employed here. THAT IS IT. 
You do not get a formal lunch break for 12+ hours. 
You are expected to take patients until 7:59 PM, emergency or not. With that being said, you could be in clinic until 9:00-9:30PM. 
All clinical staff is expected to be “cross trained ” and expected to also work upfront with NO pay raise. 
Hours are cut during the summer due to lower patient volumes.
There are days where you will be expected to work by yourself (medical assistants and providers), and you will not know that until after you are there. 
You will receive weekly emails blasting you, and fellow coworkers, about how your “wait times” are awful and need to be improved. 
This company’s slogan is “treat them and street them”. With that being said, you are fully expected to provide QUANTITY care over QUALITY care. So, if you are a medical professional who genuinely cares about patients and their needs, this is not the job for you. 
All corporate cares about is their money and how much you can make for them. 
 

12 hour shifts are nice but you are the only provider on the shift and if you need support or have a question, you hope that the person you need to speak with will actually answer their phone.  The company headquarters is far away from this location and it often times feels as if questions or complaints about the way things are ran are VERY OFTEN LEFT UNHEARD.  It is difficult to keep supplies in the clinic and just plain embarassing when you have to tell a patient that you cannot perform a routine UC procedure because you are out of that supply (this has happened more than once and with things that were not so obscure).  The most enjoyable part of the job is of course meeting patients and diagnosing and treating their ailments, but behind the scenes the lack of support and care are apparent.
