If you want to work in a place where you can’t ask questions then go to Daughters of Sarah. The management and senior management take questions and suggestions as an insult. They do not want to hear how to make it better. They’re approach to care is so old, they can’t find their way out of a paper bag!
They hire you for one position and then give you several more jobs to do once your in. The management staff is expected to do their job, then cover on call with an expectation to cover staffing issues when they occur. So you have to be the front line staff as well as manage your own management expectations. How can you supervise, take a Med cart, to cover call-Ins , do on hands care, and then do your own job???? Simple.... you can’t. So you could easily work your hours Mon-Fri and then be there all weekend working too!!! If your an RN...... run, run far!!!

The management at DOS was very unprofessional and lazy. They did not respect or appreciate the hard work from the staff. Nursing admin assistant was too involved with peoples personal life and made the work environment very unprofessional and inappropriate. Letting outside friendships lead to special treatment. A lot of work was expected but not high enough hourly rate for the job. Was highly disappointed with the lack of teamwork from everyone. The community seemed more about drama and working independently than together. Made for a hostile place to work. Would not recommend.

There was so much love kindness Carrying it was  beautiful learning how to be more close to God just a great place to work

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
I have to say it wasn’t stressful at all

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The culture was beautiful. Environment was awesome. Made me feel like at home.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Going to Service to pray spending times with the sisters if they wanted to go to the store get their nails done, etc.

It always depends on where are you working at who you working for most of the management and administration team is full you need to be aware for and let them out also the residence as good as you do they will always find something wrong and in the biggest problem of all is with management and ministration are there enough to really know what's going on just doing a day assessment is not enough you have to be there and understand what everyone even the small people like waitstaff of go through to make a better Enivoriment

Since day one at Daughters of Sarah I have felt welcomed to the team. The facility is beautiful and the teamwork is amazing. Everyone is so friendly and willing to help. I feel that the staff truly care about the residents and provide excellent care because of this. Being part of a team that makes you feel valued is so important and that is what Daughters of Sarah has provided for me. I am happy to be part of this incredible team and definitely would recommend Daughters of Sarah for employment! 

Working the 11-7 shift, do rounds when first coming in making sure there is no one on the floor and to see who is having diffuculity sleeping. Making sure residents are care for during the night and do medication pass, charting and treatments. Working together makes the job more pleasant. I get along with my co- workers, we work as a team. The hardest part of the job is when a accient happens, maybe a fall or a death, it puts you behind, lots of paper work. The most enjoyable part of the job is when you feel that you accomplish everything for that night and everything went smoothly.

After working for about a month, my experience here has been a very negative one. Management does not care for its waitstaff, you're expected to be taught everything on the first day and if you don't, all the residence will pick on you for not doing your job right even though you haven't been trained properly. Also, there is absolutely no team effort nor team moral whatsoever. I've interviewed and asked to work in a team and all I got was one of the most rudest coworkers ever. Please make this a last resort to applying as there's just so much negative vibes in this job. 

The only enjoyable part is my residents but not even all of them are a typical day at work is overloaded with residents and high demand with very low compensation I learned how to be more caring for others the hardest part of the job is when the residents die and the family is left hurting but the company is just rolling on looking to fill the room and will sometimes have someone in there as early as the next shift management feels like a dictatorship 

Working at the nursing home for the seniors I've learned that helping other people parents and giving nice and cheerful attitude make them feel loved!! Also it's good practice for us young teens for when our parents get to their age we'll know how to help them out and have patients. The workplace environment is okay. Not the best but it's a good place to work at minus the negativity, they have good benefits for the workers and pay very good!

Professional, caring and team environment 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Very organized. The ESA staff have many tasks, cleanliness of the facility has many moving parts but it is completely autonomous work
