What is the best part of working at the company?
Lack of safe work practices, upper management does not promote a safe environment for it's employees.  Even with a high volume of work related injuries, production runs the same.  Supervisors ignore common malpractice.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
No support when pointing out obvious problems, management doesn't like hearing about it.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
There is no safety culture, this company doesn't understand what culture is.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Everything is done in a hurry for productivity, which leads to many mistakes on the preparation down to the fryers.

the job was great i loved my coworkers they were fun i learned how to sanitize and wash machines to OSHA standards. also how to drive and operate a forklift. the management was the unpleasant part they hand picked their favorites and would give them a lot more slack then other employees witch i seen was unfair to everyone.
Also i felt they were racist to people who were not of Mexican of of Latin decent.

There will always be management and supervisory openings due to the lack of support for management staff. Very clannish environment. Lack of corporate knowledge and low ball projects. 

The business model pivots from the culture and is limiting. With a class-leading offering without a leading class culture has put Day Lee in a market following position. With a stated leadership intent, this puts the organization in a position of the trial against its own goals.

quiet and peaceful environment everyone is there on world getting their task done. Some coworkers do the bare minimum. for example ignore the printer if its out of paper or even not file their own files and expect someone else to do for them. 

Working at Day Lee Foods I learned how Raw to Finish product is process. I enjoy working here but it is no room for growth. I had the opportunity to experience working in all departments.

Day-Food fast faced environment to work with, heavy work load every day, I learn how to do account receivable and account payable. Company offer good benefit, people were very nice to work with, I enjoy to work this company a lot.

Dedicated 4 years to this company. Was a hard worker and did everything by the book but they only look at the one bad thing you do all year. If you one thing or get one simple warning they would not give you a raise.

It is really Japanese typical style of company in America. 
They have to adopt the way of American do business. 
If you like small business, this company fits for you.
