It has its ups and downs, but I’d say overall I enjoyed my job. The schedule was flexible with school, and I appreciated never having to work past six per the dealership I was working at. The coworkers made long shifts enjoyable.

However, management's approach to pay and raises was frustrating. I was promised extra pay for filling in as a supervisor, which I only received after following up multiple times. There were also inconsistencies regarding commute pay—after checking my payslip, I was told my base pay was lower than it actually was and that they DID credit me the bonus rather than receiving the additional compensation I was promised. I'd like to think this is a result of mismanagement as they claimed that my current pay was the base pay I had several months prior. Raises were minimal, and me securing even a small 50 cent raise required significant effort and was frequently denied.

Upper management is incredibly strict. Just from experience, I got written up for being sick despite giving them 12 hours notice. I also got written up for getting stuck in traffic (because obviously I should have known it would take me over half an hour to get on the highway).

Regarding taxes, I found that my withholdings were lower than expected, which resulted in an unexpected tax bill at the end of the year. If you work here, I recommend reviewing your pay stubs VERY closely.

Overall, the job itself was enjoyable, but management can be difficult to deal with. While this role might work well as a short-term job for flexibility and a good team environment, don’t expect major pay increases or strong support from upper management. The best part of this job was my supervisor (my SUPERVISOR, not anyone with more authority than him) and my coworkers.


I started in the summer as a "Service Valet". There I would greet customers, assist service advisors with tagging vehicles, manage loaner fleet, Park vehicles, drive them to the shop. Park Sprinter Vans, and Rv's, Drive them to the Sprinter Shop. Run around the dealership for an avg total of 3-5 miles a day. At times, the work was stressful and felt like I couldn't rely on anyone else's help. Now working as a Wash Supervisor, the stress is minimal. Practically zero customer interaction, and when there are no vehicle to wash, we can relax and actually sit down, something service valets can't do. The work environment is alright, everyone is pretty nice, and everyone does their fair share of the work.
Overall, in my opinion, this isn't a "bad" job. I do believe we deserve more pay. During summer, the weather is nice, but now, 28-degree mornings can be miserable. 

I would say my favorite part of the job is being able to drive some amazing vehicles. as a bit of a car nerd, having the opportunity to drive six figure sports cars and SUV's makes the hard work worth it in my opinion.

The mornings and about an hour before closing time were the most busiest. There’s 3 lanes that easily get filled up and you have to keep at least one clear or you get yelled at by the employees/manager on the auto side. I was a manager in training at the time so I caught on pretty fast and did the best I could with little to no help. The other manager started leaving earlier and earlier so it would just be me and a coworker having to move 10-15 cars.(no exaggeration) Nobody seemed to have a problem with this because “that’s just how she was”. Your overworked majority of them time and you get blamed for everything. My other coworkers were nice but I personally would steer away from this company. It needs a complete blitz from upper management.

The managers are money grabbers and do not care about you. Turn over rate is CRAZY due to how demanding this job is with little pay for it.
To get paid at minimum $14 an hour with NO BENEFITS has to be criminal…
I cannot stress enough, find something else…
Had to transfer to a different location, longer commute and more work required of me and only got a $1 raise.
No accommodations for people with mental illness and no accommodations for caretakers.

Being a valet driver is a great job for someone who is motivated to go the extra mile and provide great service in a safe and responsible manner. Like most jobs, you'll pay your dues in the beginning but once management sees your competence and commitment, it isn't long before you are moved up to a leadership role and given multiple responsibilities that help you grow both personally and professionally. If you are someone who likes cars, this job will be extra fun as you get to be around some very cool vehicles, and most people who work there also like cars so making friends is easy. 

worked as a service valet. the company barely hired anyone so you'd be running around like crazy and fulfilling the job of 5 people for the same pay. Upper level management is useless as well as the managers on site. company is super mismanaged and pretty trash. The managers give you petty write ups all the time. job and company are a joke. they also hire just about anybody off the street so expect weird characters as well as people who can't even drive and are valets. what a joke of a company 

Dealerflex management was one of the most unorganized jobs I have been in, they don't allow you to sit at all, they pay was horrible $13hr to do 3 jobs, as a valet you did a lot attendant and wash bay tech job, I had to deliver a car over an hour away, the camera system is crazy makes you feel too uncomfortable to drive anything. And good luck with breaks because to get one you have to have someone cover you and everyone just vanishes. The work you do isn't worth the pay, most company's pay you $15-$16hr to do what they do.

Not much, just the people sometimes.

No PTO No benifits, The walking, and amount of steps.

Culture was strict no respite for workers.

Parking cars wand walking and keeping busy or pretending to be busy.

First don’t let them fool you it’s not just a driving job. You have to be a videographer and good with electronics to stay working at this job. This is a micromanaging, backstabbing place to be no concentration or concern for the safety of their workers. You’ll be thrown under the bus before management stands up for you. Work at Amazon or a temp agency you’ll make more money and less stress 

Managers are biased and pick and choose who rules apply to overall terrible place to work, Managers are not understanding and not flexible with schedule and very understaffed theyll have one person doing everyone’s position because they are understaffed
