I must express my concerns about certain aspects of this organization.

Firstly, I highly recommend reconsidering your decision to apply to DermCare. In my time there, I observed a lack of proper systems and organization, leading to a scattered and chaotic work environment. The staff often appeared overwhelmed, running around in a disorganized manner, which impacted overall efficiency and productivity.

Furthermore, there seems to be a high turnover rate within the company, which can be indicative of underlying issues. The lack of room for growth, micromanagement, and development was also a significant drawback during my tenure with DermCare. Opportunities for advancement were limited, which may impact your long-term career aspirations.

Additionally, I must highlight that there was a prevailing negative atmosphere among team members. I observed instances of attitudes and conflicts among colleagues, creating a less than ideal work environment. It is crucial to consider the impact of a negative atmosphere on your overall job satisfaction and well-being.

I believe in providing honest feedback to help individuals make informed decisions. It is essential to be aware of these concerns before making a commitment. It is crucial to carefully evaluate whether these factors align with your professional goals and expectations.

I wasn't expecting much when I started working with DermCare but, ultimately it turned out to be one of the most gratifying work experiences I've had so far. The docs truly care about their staff. They consistently show their appreciation. The office manager actively works to create harmony among staff and the other medical assistants are always planning an event. Sometimes the patients can be tough but most of the time, they are sweethearts :) .

One aspect I didn't think about too much when I started was how many benefits you get just by working with them: any brand skin care product they carry you will have too much of and need to give away, complimentary staff injectables like botox, they constantly have laser trainings or new service trainings and need model patients like MAs. 

They treat many patients, so you need to be on your toes! They do expect a nice attitude, which is hard to keep for 8 hours! I just reminded myself that patients are sometimes also going through a tough time.

The CFO's leadership has created one of the most toxic workplace cultures I have experienced. Employees in both the field and within his department are emotionally exhausted, undervalued, and operating in an environment where morale continues to deteriorate. Rather than fostering trust, collaboration, and support, the culture is driven by fear, poor communication, and a lack of empathy for the people who keep the organization running.

Many employees feel depleted and disengaged, not because they lack dedication, but because leadership fails to recognize the human impact of his decisions and lack of morals. A CFO should help build a healthy, sustainable organization. Unfortunately, the leadership style demonstrated here has had the opposite effect, contributing to burnout, low morale, and an unhealthy work environment.

I hope the company takes these concerns seriously and prioritizes cultural change before more talented employees are lost.

While the doctors are great to work for inner departments are very cliqu-ie. Management from call team is often overwhelmed and clueless with no solutions to problems. Patient liaison manager is loud and unprofessional while often having an attitude and constantly seeming annoyed and lastly the office manager is very little in the office with little to no contact with the lower staff in call or patient liaison teams. Very high turnover rate. Good place for experience but not for growth or raises. Teammembers gossip behind eachothers back and or with upper management creating a negative atmosphere and kills team - or lack there of - moral, leaving the little team members that actually do work frustrated and overwhelmed with the neverending job tasks and chase for "monthly goals"

Great coworkers. Most cosmetic patients are usually pleasant. Derm providers are always referring patients for esthetician treatments. Good for building professional relationships in the industry. Esthi services are straightforward, no fluff.

HOWEVER,
Management views estheticians as support staff rather than service providers. You get forced into working front desk whenever you’re not with a patient. Even when you’re busy with patients, still a lot of admin work involved. Incredibly difficult to get backbar products, new supplies/equipment etc. There is almost no continuing education, no opportunities to expand and improve your skills. The company is slow to add new esthetician treatments, leaving  you with an outdated service menu. Hourly pay and commission percentage is very low compared to competitors. High turnover rate.

I have been a part of DermCare for a little over 5 years now, when they bought out the private medical office I worked for.   One of the standout qualities of DermCare is its unwavering commitment to fostering a positive work environment. The leadership team consistently demonstrates genuine care for their employees, actively seeking feedback and implementing initiatives that promote work-life balance and employee satisfaction.  Overall, I am incredibly grateful to be a part of such an amazing organization. DermCare not only provides a fulfilling career but also fosters a sense of belonging and purpose. I wholeheartedly recommend DermCare to anyone seeking a rewarding and supportive work environment.

DermCare is a great company to work for/with.  They are extremely supportive of me and our team/Medical providers. The Upper Management, HR, Billing,Purchasing department and everyone in Corporate are Wonderful/Supportive to work with. They always get back to me with any type of question I  may have. 
My typical day is checking my emails. Having a quick office staff meeting (including our providers). A lot of our employees have worked with us for over 11 years. We are a happy work family.  We are a very busy office. The most enjoyable part of my job is working with our staff/providers and helping our patients. I highly recommend working with DermCare. 

I have been consistently impressed and gratified by the level of support and expertise offered by  DermCare Management. I was in charge of running day to day operations at one of their dermatology clinics, it was a demanding job to say the least but what made it easier was having everyone's support at the management level. The regional director for my area would always make sure I had resources available to run the practice. They managed HR which was a HUGE burden after 2020. So I am very grateful for that. 

They make it a big deal to incentive staff to be better with patients. And that shows in their culture. 

A typical workday involves efficiently managing work tickets, resolving technical issues, and delivering top-notch customer service. Amidst the ever-evolving tech landscape, I've embraced continuous learning, appreciating the influx of new knowledge with each challenge. Under excellent leadership, management has been stellar, fostering a positive workplace culture.

The most challenging aspect arises when clients experience a rough day, demanding empathy and resilience. However, the most rewarding part is overcoming these challenges and providing solutions that alleviate their stress. In a dynamic field, the joy of helping others and the supportive work environment make each day fulfilling.

Seeing 150-175 patients a day with 5-6 providers.
I learning managing people is the key not managing the job.
Culture is to support each other and learn from each other as maangers/ 
Attention to growth and coaching all employees to grow and flourish.  Quarterly manager trainings. Ongoing PSR training.  Online tools for all positions.  Bi-Weekly managers break out sessions. Structured onboarding and training for medical assistants
The hardest part of the job is growing and managing that growth well. 
The most enjoyable part of the job is supporting my fellow managers and watching the practice thrive and meet metrics.
