I typical day consists of taking care of the basic needs for patients. I learned time management and multi tasking. Everyone is hard working and self motivated, although loosing a patient is hard it is very rewarding to make some ones life a little happier for the day.

Below average.Hot working environment. Poor lighting. Under staffed. Inconsistent care givers. Large turnover. Policy are inconsistent with employee. Tremendous amount of charting. Computer program very out dated. They don't require professional dress code. No specific diets for diabetes or cardiac.

Working in healthcare is not easy anywhere, but I enjoyed working at Dexter.  The staff were excited to be involved with events when scheduled.  The facility is service connected, and I enjoyed the chance to work with and honor the veterans who sacrificed for our country.

I worked there for about a year as a Perdiem  while I was going to school. It was close to home, and it worked with my  schedule as I finished out my  senior year in high school.

Worst place ever worked. Administrator is abusing staff making them wear masks all the time, very low care, residents forced to stay in bed, no communication, staff being accused, poor place for anyone. 

Very high turn over rates, not enough pay, and very little employee appreciation. no incentives, mandatory over time requiring very long hours; of up to 16 hours.

Horrible staffing, don’t care about co workers very rude, they don’t seem to care about any of the staff members, throw their responsibility to other staff members

helping people to get their daily needs met is very difficult when you are working with colleagues who  do not care as much as you do about the job.  the burn out rate is high.
