A typical day at work: A typical day at work is often fast-paced and multifaceted. It usually involves a mix of responding to tickets or service requests, attending meetings to discuss ongoing projects, and troubleshooting various issues that arise. Depending on the role, I might also work on setting up new systems, collaborating with colleagues from different departments, or managing hardware and software configurations. There are often periods of intense focus when dealing with technical problems, balanced by times of communication, either with customers, stakeholders, or teammates. Each day can bring unexpected challenges, making the workday dynamic and varied.
What I believe I learned: Over time, I've learned that technical knowledge alone isn't enough to be effective in the workplace. It’s just as important to develop soft skills like communication, problem-solving, and time management. I've learned how crucial it is to understand the underlying business goals of the organization to ensure that IT decisions align with those objectives. Additionally, I’ve gained a deeper appreciation for teamwork and collaboration, understanding that the most effective solutions often come from working together and learning from one another. Adaptability is also key, as new technologies and methodologies emerge constantly.
Management: Effective management is vital for team success. I believe that great managers not only provide guidance but also empower their teams. They offer clear direction, set expectations, and foster a collaborative environment where team members feel valued and supported. Good management involves recognizing and nurturing individual strengths while addressing weaknesses with constructive feedback. A manager should be approachable, providing an open-door policy for issues, and should also encourage personal and professional growth within the team.
Workplace culture: A positive workplace culture is one that promotes respect, inclusivity, and openness. When the culture fosters collaboration and supports a healthy work-life balance, employees feel more engaged and motivated. Clear communication, recognition of achievements, and an environment where feedback is valued are crucial elements that contribute to a thriving culture. A strong culture encourages continuous learning and ensures that employees feel they are making a meaningful contribution.
The hardest part of the job: The hardest part of the job is often dealing with unexpected crises or urgent issues, especially when they require immediate attention, like a server failure or critical system downtime. Balancing multiple tasks under pressure while maintaining a high level of quality can be challenging. In roles that require troubleshooting, finding the root cause of an issue can sometimes be difficult, particularly if it's a complex or rare problem. Additionally, working in environments where resources are limited can make it harder to meet deadlines or achieve certain goals.
The most enjoyable part of the job: The most enjoyable part of the job is the sense of accomplishment that comes from solving problems and helping others. Whether it's fixing a technical issue, improving a system's efficiency, or helping a team member, knowing that your work has made a positive impact is highly rewarding. I also enjoy the variety that comes with the job, as every day presents new challenges and opportunities to learn. The collaboration with other team members or departments can be fun and fulfilling, especially when there is a shared goal or project.

I really did enjoy working there for a period of time. You get to learn a lot. But then again, Barri has this thing where it sucks the life out of customers and employees. They really like to screw on both ends. They make changes on customers like nothing. Charging them on services that no other place would charge, just out of the blue. 
Management is horrible. You can do everything right including being professional when they are unprofessional. In how they speak and represent you. In my opinion as a team leader you should vouch and make your team better. Instead, they choose to turn the cheek when an employee is nothing but consistent and compliant just because of what management says. Basically if you're not kissing someones butt and if you speak up you are considered someone difficult to work with. Difficult to work with just because of knowing how to present yourself when as an employee you are being mistreated and yelled at by a superior in front of customers. I dont recommend this job at all. They are inconsistent and are making employees lives miserable.

I have lot experience on Monitor and respond to Help ticket requests

Respond to calls or emails for assistance

Provide technical assistance and support for incoming issues related to systems, software and hardware

Troubleshoot issues or bugs, assisting in resolving tickets raised by the business

Setup, configure and install new desktops or laptops as required

Other duties assigned 

Maintained hardware and software in the in the conference center, including but not limited to, preventative maintenance on projectors, flat panels, podiums, kiosks, audio system and microphones, cabling and wireless display infrastructure.

I worked in this company after working at Ria for a long time, but it is just awful. So little pay for everything one does, the systems are super outdated yet boasted as being “extremely advanced”, and the overall culture is unwelcoming. The company constantly brags about investing thousands of dollars in a money counting and storing machine that is actually super limited and fragile compared to the cheap ones at Ria which are way more reliable. The coworker who trained me has no sense of respect by constantly staring at me and nitpicking every little thing. I never trembled out of annoyance and feeling disrespected so much in my life. If I could take back the week I lost at this job, I gladly would

It was a good start at first. I was told i was going to be getting at least 2 days off a week but that was a lie. You mostly speak Spanish so if you're bilingual that's a plus. They only have 2 people working a one location, morning shift (8AM-2PM) and afternoon shift (2PM-8PM). No weekends off but instead you each work a double either Saturday or Sunday (8AM-8PM). The pay here sucks. I had a year and a half experience and they are paying me the minimum. Management is horrible they don't even manage well or reply back to emails. If you don't have a life this is the right job for you, especially if you have to work afternoon. Morning shifts are actually not bad at all. You can be either very busy or very slow depending on your location.

Literally like three weeks of training ( by an employee) and then by yourself. Every location is honestly different some do mainly bills others send money to different places. You only work 6 hrs daily . Get paid bi-weekly . You can do overtime if you’re willing to go to another store. I’ve worked with Nice co-workers on my location. You have no lunch break (but you can eat when nobody is there). Also, you definitely have to be careful on counting your bills because if you come out short it’s coming out of your pocket. 

Very easy job pay is ok you work with friendly people. Just get ready for the rude customers and manager doesn’t do nothing to back you up because customers come first even if they say bad words or yell at you,you still have to attend them. The manager only cares for the  goals to be made and keeps pressuring you with no rewards only for themselves more likely a bonus. Management moves you from store we’re they need staff and doesn’t care if you don’t want to or can’t they don’t give you options they just want the store to be running. Reason being they probably don’t want to waste time in hiring or teaching new employees.

I would come in for my shift and long into the system to clock in. My coworker would update me on what had transpired throughout the day and I would take the customers that would come in while my coworker would prepare her shift documents such as products sold, sales, number of transfers, cashed checks and so on. Throughout the day I would cash checks, sell products, make transfers, do money orders, help customers with bills, etc. When it was the end of my shift I would print my records, staple them and archive them. I'd have to make sure everything was correct and secure the area. I learned how to enhance my multitasking skills while also learning to do this in a more efficient and speedy manner.

Not all the company but 85% is all about favoritisim especially in the rio grande valley by harlingen down to brownsville tx .. good place to work if you enjoy the back stabing and the sucking up to supervisors if these aspect will change it would be a good place to work and if you were recognize by your hard work it will be great place to work ... problem is the supervisor favoritism... if upper management like hr department and complice department will look into the favoritisim the lower valley has it would be a great place to work

Its is a very nice job you have to be a very responsible person to do the job. I learned everything that had to do with the moneygram system for example tranfering money to other states and receiving money from other sates also,making al type of bill payments, cellphones from out of state payments , cashing checks, and money orders. In the tittle and personal loans are I learned how to make phone calls to custumers that haven't yet payed the loan bill and I also did the tittle and personal loans for custumers and gave them an estimate.
