I worked in the QC Laboratory for about a year. It seemed to be starting off well, but my opinion on the company soured about five months into the job.

The lab is criminally understaffed for the amount of testing that needs to be done. Turn over is high, and Dr. Reddy's refuses to replace their staff members. 5 employees left or were terminated in the year I was there.

Management is either incompetent and out of touch or does not care that the Senior Analysts/Chemists take it upon themselves to run the place in their stead. There is very little communication from managers to members that aren't Senior Chemists, even though Senior Chemists are not actually considered management. The Senior Chemists make up a dominant clique and if you are not in that clique, they will try to get you forced out if they don't like you or see you as lazy. 

IT is a joke. Most of it is handled through India, and I spend months fighting to get access to the most basic online systems in the company to input testing data.

The pay is pretty good, but they will try to keep you as a contract worker for as long as possible to avoid paying benefits. One employee worked there for 2 years before being promoted to an analyst. Very little chance for advancement once you are in the company.

I was given very little training and it was  clear I was only hired to be used to help push the company through crunch time and once I was no longer needed, I was let go through vague excuses with no reprimands or warning from management.

I would not recommend working at DRL unless management dramatically changes.

I want to take this opportunity and write about this company.
Dr Reddy's Bridgewater, NJ is the worst place to work for. Dreddy's culture is far beyond what you will be used to working,
If you decide to accept their offer, do not be surprised to get fired any moment. Their expectation are higher than Mount Everest. When you are hired, from day one, they will be monitoring you and watching you every second. Micro managing is the under statement. Typical day at Dr reddy's is extremely stressful. Honestly, i have been with Drreddy's for over a year and I do not have ONE positive thing to say about Dr.Reddys. They are all power seeking people, Most of the employees are on working visa, which means they work like dogs and pay peanuts. Otherwise, there is a high possibility for them to go back to India. Management expects same kind of work load on other employees as well.They work 10-11 hours everyday,All the time.
Please do yourself a favor and stay away. I am thankful to god to leave the job, i am in a far better work place now.

Most agencies, vendors,customers are aware of their service in the market. They will not be a growing company no more like they say.

When it comes to efficiency, organization, and timely and clear communication DRL could use more work. It can be hard to get things done when it takes several weeks/months to get other departments to respond back, and some of those that do respond back will make you go in circles only to tell you long afterwards that you shouldn't have reached out to them or should have done something differently. It can be very frustrating when you don't have much support and occasionally the language barrier with non-native English speakers gets in the way of getting things done accurately and on time. The overall work culture is too laxed and current employees can be quick to blame newer employees for lapses when a lot of these lapses stem from miscommunication and/or inadequate direction or training from management. Competitive egos also evident amongst employees in different departments. 

Do yourself a favor and walk away from this company.
1. You are told what to do from mgmt in India each day
2. All actions are controlled by local H.R. dept. which is highly over-hired, and arrogant to say the absolute least.
3. Either you figure it out on your own everyday, or you're marked as a failure - there is 100% no-support or collaboration between colleagues or within departments. 
4. The head of H.R. is completely useless, cruel, and disliked by his entire department.
5. This pharma company USED to be one of the big competitors years back... now they are literally just a "front" for bringing in people from India, to work for almost nothing. If you dont like it, you're shipped back to India within a week or so.
I've worked within the I.T. industry for over 25 years now, i have NEVER seen such a poor company to work for overall. 
The fact that all employees within the Princeton site are pretty much miserable working there should tell you all that you need to know. Avoid.

Working as a Systems Administrator has truly been the best job I’ve ever had. Every day brings a new challenge, and I love the problem-solving aspect of maintaining and optimizing network infrastructure. The role keeps me engaged and constantly learning, whether it’s implementing security protocols, troubleshooting server issues, or helping users with tech problems. I feel a great sense of accomplishment knowing that the systems I manage are critical to the smooth operation of the organization.

The work environment is supportive, and I get to collaborate with a knowledgeable and friendly IT team. There’s a real appreciation for what we do behind the scenes, which makes a big difference. I also enjoy the balance of independence and teamwork, as well as the opportunity to keep up with evolving technology. This job has allowed me to grow professionally and personally, and I genuinely look forward to coming to work every day.


Complied with all cGMP, SOP, federal and state regulations and all other policies.. Monitored, operated,
loaded and unloaded equipment. Cleaned equipment with and without direction. Signed operations
documentation such as batch records and equipment logs. Demonstrated ability to read, understand and
interpret production schedule. Offered continuous improvement suggestions for overall department
efficiency. Performed other duties as assigned by the Shift Lead or Coordinator. Handled and/ or removed
200lb containers with frequent lifting and/ or carrying of objects weighing 50 pounds or more. Frequent and
repetitive bending, stretching, stooping, scooping and circular arm and hand motions. Prolonged standing
and climbing of stairs for up to 12 hours on a continuous basis.

Within a short period of time ive learned to break down, setup, operate, and troubleshoot every piece of equipment ive encountered

co-workers are hard workers but retaining knowledge is very minimal

the hardest part of the job is having to tell co-workers how to do something you just explained to them the day before, which slows down production

the most enjoyable part of my job is being able to retain as much knowledge as i can in this industry in order to help me reach my ultimate goal

I worked in the QC laboratory for 6 months, and it was a joke. The laboratory was severely understaffed, and while I was there, we were mandated to work every other Saturday along with an extra hour every day of the week. This averaged out to 49 hours/week. Most personnel were salaried, and were hired when 40 hrs/week was the norm. They received no additional compensation for the very significant additional time demands. It was criminal. There were one or two good managers, but the head of the QC department was entirely out of touch with his department's needs, and didn't care to see the issues that plagued QC. It was a great resume builder because there was so much to do- expect to be spread very thin.

The start up is every man for himself - No training and/or very little.
The pressure is on from the moment your systems are up.
Should you be fortunate enough to train yourself and feel confident, shortly thereafter the biased politics begin. 
Management uses employees as pawns and pits them against one another for entertainment purposes. 
No real structure.  If you are brave enough to work here please have an exit strategy.  The turnover is unbelievable.

In the U.S., leadership tries to make an effort, but corporate leaders in India are always undermining them. While the company's financial performance is slowly degrading, draconian Princeton has exercise equipment, xBox, and Foosball located in several employee gathering areas, but using them is frowned upon. They subsidize lunch in the cafeteria, but the vendor is not committed to providing superior food or service.
