Unfortunately, my experience in this company was very disappointing. There is a clear environment of nepotism and favoritism, where growth opportunities do not depend on performance or effort, but on who you know within the organization.
Leadership leaves a lot to be desired. Many of the supervisors and managers seem to be unprepared for their roles, lack basic personnel management skills and make inconsistent decisions that negatively affect the team. The lack of direction and professionalism creates a frustrating and unmotivating work environment.
In addition, there is an evident lack of qualified personnel in several areas, which ends up recharging the few employees who really work with commitment (YCW). There is no clear structure or efficient processes, which generates constant disorganization.
Communication is poor and there is no transparency. The rules change depending on the person, which further reinforces the feeling of injustice within the team.
In general, I would not recommend this company to those looking for a professional environment, fair and with real opportunities for growth.

The company is decent overall, but there are some notable areas for improvement. The quality of work delivered is generally satisfactory, and they handle tasks efficiently. However, one of the major drawbacks is their tendency to limit the number of personnel assigned to projects. This can lead to a slower turnaround time and, in some cases, makes it feel like certain tasks could have been completed more quickly with additional staff on hand. While the team is competent and hardworking, it's clear that they could benefit from more support to meet deadlines and ensure a smoother workflow. If they focused on expanding their workforce a bit, they could provide an even better service and reduce the strain on their existing employees. Overall, a good experience, but they could improve by addressing this staffing issue.

Worst company ever. If you want to get burn out easily and want people to talk behind your back apply here. Let me tell you something management is a joke. They always say they care about their employees and that's a lie. The environment here is super toxic. The supervisors are always gossiping about their employees sharing their personal life and even making comments on your own personal life. If you make a mistake prepared to be harassed. They will be on your back non stop. Oh and don't even bother on saying nothing to hr because they are not going to do anything. There's a lot of favoritism in this company and people are quitting nonstop. 

My experience with management was highly positive, marked by clear communication, support, and a strong sense of direction. However, within the team, several challenges detracted from the overall work environment. I observed frequent gossip, lingering resentment, and a general lack of professionalism. Additionally, instances of poor etiquette and behavior, as well as a degree of hypocrisy, were prevalent among some colleagues. These issues ultimately created a less cohesive and productive atmosphere.

You will learn and enjoy working if you ignore a lot of the issues on the surface. The company itself isn’t the worst, however when life comes up they aren’t open to assisting nor making things work. They’ll leave you in limbo until you have to properly jump ship in the end. 

I work overnight, which isn’t the easiest work schedule, but I always feel supported by my lead and upper management bosses. I’ve never had any problems, and my lead is someone who always talks to her staff and gets to know them beforehand. Before the shift, it was horrible, and I didn’t want to come to work, but now I love coming to work because my lead has made it easy, and the team has grown into a little family in my eyes. I wish every shift would be easy to be in , but it’s not . I know they experience gossiping and little issues but I’m glad my shift is getting better

It’s an excellent company, the PD’s, are a nice people!!!!

You Need to do all moments supervision!!

It’s nice because you know about the other cultures, the company contracted different culture people and you have the opportunity to search with they.

The people, the environment, the  facilities !!!!!!

DSS is such a great place to work! 

Management really cares about " ITS PEOPLE" and one of the few companies I have worked at where work/life balance is extremely important and encouraged. 

The Leadership team is truly compassionate about their Mission and they really care about the total well being of their employees. I would recommend this company to anyone who is interested in actually doing the work of helping others in need.

DSS is a wonderful employer that provides excellent benefits and a productive, safe and fun work environment. We have yoga sessions, health insurance, training, travel etc all covered by the company. There are opportunities for growth, work/life balance, happy hours and an inclusive dynamic shared work space. We have a hybrid schedule and overall I just enjoy working for the company. 

The only positive thing about this job is working with the kids. 
If you decide to work here be ready to see alot of favoritism, nepotism, unfairness, staff that are in a leadership position that don’t know the definition of being a leader. Staff that are in charge that don’t have a degree. There is so much more but i will leave it at that.
