The only reason this company isn't getting a 1 is because I had great co workers. The policies are absolutely ridiculous and the expectations they have of their employees is unrealistic and unfair. Doctor's notes aren't accepted, certain days of the week are considered "no tolerance" which is absurd, all sandwiched between the fact that you cannot move from your desk under any circumstances or get a breather, less you mess up your adherence. The fact that you have to deal with customers screaming at you over a toll violation doesn't make it worth it at all.
The only good thing about this company is the friends I've made there and the good co workers. It came with decent benefits. For that reason and that reason alone I'm not giving it a one. Management, get your act together and make promises you can keep! And don't make raises contingent upon unrealistic expectations. Everyone works hard there, but they aren't being respected enough.The good people want to leave, and there's a reason for that. Maybe instead of distracting us with parties, you should be addressing the real problems.
Not to mention, certain promises not being made, combined with trying to do the right thing but you make it impossible. 
And maybe, just saying, maybe ezpass could make things a little more fair to their customers too so they aren't screaming and blaming us who are on the front lines, taking the brunt, for your stupid policies.
And for the record, happier employees mean healthier employees. And that means less call offs. Take that into consideration.
Note when I say management, I'm referring to higher management. The shift supervisors were great to work with. I'm referring more or less to corporate who is obviously forcing the hand of our supervisors. I don't hate anyone personally nor do I take anything personally. But just sayin', something's got to give or you'll end up losing more good people and eventually that metaphorical ship's going to sink without enough sailors.

EZPass is very hardcore with their standards. They expect every CSR to meet 95% on adherence and 2% abandoned calls are the biggest frustrations. There is 70ish people working for EZPass in VA currently, and due to the call volume every single person (that I can tell) is working mandatory overtime. I was told my shifts would start at 10:30 and they always start at 9:30 because of the mandatory overtime.  I have never clocked in at 10:30 and I probably never will. The environment is filled with caring people though, some of which try to push you to meet these inhuman standards when they know themselves that not a person in the building can average 15 calls an hour. Everyone who works here is really nice and understanding, and the call floor is generally a super upbeat environment. There are a handful of people who constantly complain about the stuff I've said above though. Do not apply here if you do not want to be constantly busy with no chances to breathe, is what I'm saying.

I enjoy working in a customer service atmosphere. However, I am looking for a establishment where I can grow. A typical day in this company is arriving on time, opening incoming mail, sorting the mail, and batching the mail so it may be ready to be processed for the next work day. My coworkers all have different personalities that I have grown to understand so I learn how to adapt to them all so well. Each say there is something new to be learned whether it has something to do with the job or not. The hardest part of the job would say is exceeding to work hard and working above everyone without complaining when there is a lack in group effort. The most enjoyable part of the job is getting the job done no matter what the circumstances are.

I felt like your deceived by the recruiters then you’re  hired & you see the real . The turnover rate is high because while those who have seniority work from home they hire outside TEMP(constant reminder you’re a temp employee) help to work in the center with NO microwaves because “COVID” with no stores in walking distance it’s just a very sad situation. The leads who supposed to help you don’t & are very snarky HELP DESK is NO help . . . Wouldn’t recommend the trainer tho did her best with the time she was given but they need new material, third party help or something because you have 2 weeks on material thrown at you with a week of hands on experience & thrown to the wolves & TRUST they’re wolves on that floor.

A day at Ezpass consists of being to work on time and being ready to set your goals for the day. Receiving hard copy request sheets to complete your tasks for the day. The Ezpass warehouse is filled with thousands of tags that are prepared to be sold to various customers; it is my duty to take the new incoming batches and place them in an organized fashion to their required destinations in the warehouse. After being placed to their shelves, certain departments will request the amount of boxes/tags they need and what they specifically need it for.

EZpass is one of the most stressful environments I have worked at. The work itself is very easy but the company's culture is really bad. Unrealistic expectations for very little money. The phones do not stop ringing..as a CSR you do not catch your breath at all and they are expecting you to help a customer and wrap up the call in 4min30 sec. Just their programs needs 2 minutes to open..They basically do anything to sabotage you in order to NOT GET paid the commission agreed upon and let's not talk about the OUTRAGEOUS dress code rules.. All in all very bad management..inhumane expectations and very long hours with extremely short breaks..

Is not a complicated job comparing to other call centers but unfortunately i have to say is not a healthy environment to work. There is no life work balance. You can have the best intentions and put your best effort and experience and you will still be unseen unless you make a mistake, that is if your not management favorite.  I believe there is room for improvement if everyone there change their mindset to one productive, positive and professional. Culture and Diversity inclusive should be topics to be re-trained on. 

Could be a rewarding career but you have to be recruited through temp agency which limits pay, benefits, and room for advancement. A lot of immature young ppl working but also a bunch of great people and shining stars in population of coworkers. Management very chatty and love to gossip but at the same time do make it a point to do their best at leading the team and teaching the skills needed to Perfork the job. 

The workload these people dump on you with minimal training should be criminal. The pay for the work you do is even worse, and was ultimately why I decided to leave. The job is very redundant so if you aren’t looking to work in a place with constant change this is good for that, but after dealing with so many calls you leave with your Brain fried and pockets still dry. 2/10 don’t recommend this place. If you need something temporary and quick that’s the only reason I’d suggest it.

Mass dot hires a company responsible to handle ezpass clients and they use a temp agency to hire employees. They tell the temp agency to tell us we will get paid $1 more if we pass the 3 month probation period but when you pass they go back on their word. Other employees who used different temp agencies had the same story. Then they have the audacity to get mad at you if you call them out. They are short staffed. Employees are hardworkers who do the best with the foolishness.
