I worked at Eastview for 3 years. If you are not a favorite to the administrator or DON count your days. They will talk behind your back. The management team is very unprofessional will belittle you in front of your other superiors. Once they are trying to fill your position they will overload you with impossible work task and make little excuses to what your doing wrong. The residents get poor prepared food and has been compared to catfood.I seen multiple fighs and alot of arguments in the facilty with family and residents around. Departmemt heads are hardly in the facility and if they are they leave way before 5 but will hound you if you do it . So try to get on there good side or your next to get cut not to mention they had my job up before firing me for unrealistic expectations. The CNAs are overworked and they show no loyalty to the ones who have been there for years just more work. Some of the nurses are great and will go above and beyond but are hardly appreciated and raises are completely out of the wuestion.had to beg for my annual review then got written up . Went to Hr and compliance and nothing was done lol this place is a joke. I feel so bad for the employees and residents in this facility. So sad the residents deserve so much better.

Working at East View is great! The team here really does love each other and the residents. A lot of the team member's have been here for over 10 years. We have had our up's and down's like any other company but overall I truly feel like management cares about you as a person. Everyone here is always willing to lend a helping hand and pick u up when you are down. Management in my opinion could be a little more hands on with every day activities and making sure consistency is being practiced within all departments but if you need them they are available for you. There are a lot of different personalities here at East View but it is one of the reasons I love working here. We all embrace each other and do our job and try to have fun. 

the staff wasn't the best.  they treated their job as simply just a means to an end instead of realizing that their role in this facility was more then a job.  working here it had to be something you enjoy.  i greatly enjoy taking care of people and being able to provide them comfort.  the hardest part of the job was taking care of very sick, elderly people and becoming attached to them, then have them pass away.  the most enjoyable part of the job was being able to wake up every day and go into work knowing that what i was doing was beneficial to the well being of others.  it was a very rewarding job and i greatly enjoyed the smile my residents would have whenever they saw i was their CNA for the day.

Visiting with the residents and helping them.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The management not answering their resident related calls. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work enviroment was ok but  the lack of respect for the residents is horrible.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Answering the phone and trying to get the department heads and nurses to answer their calls.

Upper management has no idea of what is involved in moving DSO down and is not tolerant of the time involved.  Expectations were too high with no support from management or resources until the very last month I was there and then it was too much too late. Everyone else was great to work with.

The typical day starts at 7am or 7 pm . There are tons of call out so prepare to stay after your 23 hours have ended. Manager is overworked and has no experience in home health care. 

Caseload on the high side.  Training needs to be updated for the learning curve not to be so steep and frustrating.  Management seem to be in control of issues. The most enjoyable part of the job is the nice crew to work with.

I had a great experience for a short while until I had to move cities. It was pretty easy and chill. I have very little experience as a medical receptionist and they helped me gain some experience. 

I was working there for a few months, employees were excited that they finally had someone to acknowledge their concerns. Only for me to be fired for “not fitting in” horrible place to work for. 

I enjoyed working at Eastview Healthcare. If I was to ever move back to Houston, that will be the first place I go apply. Not only were we co-workers, we became family and took care ours residents as one.
