What is the best part of working at the company?
The ability to make connections with the patients. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Literally everything. The ratios are atrocious. Team is toxic. Everyone is against each other.  Very poor leadership. Active illegal street drugs used by residents in the building. Overall a dirty facility inside and out. Cockroaches, bedbugs, sharps violations, and EXTREME micromanagement. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Toxic. Hostile. Stressful. Unmanageable. Excessive anxiety and pressure. Micromanaging with excessive criticism. If you speak up then you become a target and they will push you out. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
14 hours a day minimum 5 days a week. Constantly never being able to complete a task because new tasks are added multiple times a day and there’s little team work or support. Overwhelming workloads with unnecessary extended meetings on purpose which hinder the quality of care for the patients. Gross negligence at its worst.

To start off: Management is the cause of all above. I have witnessed if you befriend and brown nose you don’t have to do your job, you can get away with breaking rules. If you ever bring up to management actual witnessed wrongful actions  against brown nosers,  they will retaliate against you, make statements to intimated you , well straight up definition of a bully, writing you up and trying to put as much as they  can in that write up by straight out lying. This has caused the loss of many excellent employees. No raises, pay is way too low. Now we have 50 percent agency.. The most sad part is seeing residents expressing, how they miss that nurse….  Actions speak louder than words: They will not acknowledge they have a problem. Until they do, it we continue to go downward . down !! I will miss my residents when I leave and that to me is the hardest part of leaving. They are like extended family and friends. But that ship is sinking!! Over worked under staffed for the acuity.. Money Money Greed Greed will always loose eventually.

What is the best part of working at the company?
I would give it a zero considering that the administrator is cool with the boss man. And doesn't care about the residents only cares about numbers and employing ex-boyfriends and best friends. That has nothing to do with what we do as caregivers for the disabled and the elderly. I wish the company well  but I will never support the disregard or the disrespect for human life . Boast all you want but you will all be judged for your actions for yourself entitlement and your disregard for life. Amen 🙏 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Working with ex-boyfriends and friends of administration.

Toxic read the reviews before ever applying my mistake won't happen again.

Everyone thinking they are your boss working 7 days a week on salary

Staff is terrible, as it always is in for profit LTC. I’ve had occasions of 3 nights in a row of over 40 patients. High turnover rate, variable wage (doesn’t match years of relative experience, but your standing with the management), bonuses are having to be fought for by staff that they were promised to, all of the managers are related to each other (done via an internal take over from what I’ve heard), high concerns with conflict of interest (all of the abuse coordinators are related to each other), high use of temp staff despite advertising in their brochure they don’t use agency staff. Broken promises and secrets kept all over the place. Family ties, cheap supplies, and skimpy staff. You do the math

I like the small feel of Eduro even while it is growing.  We are pushed for results, but are given the appropriate timeline and tools to get there.  I love that I don't have to scrap together a computer with missing keys or a dead battery like I did with my previous company.  I feel respected and that my opinion and ideas matter.

Typical SNF 8 hr work-day with caseload 8-12 patients/day. Poor management in all departments. Unable to answer questions or concerns raised by team-members. Unreliable with time-off requests. Poor follow-through ordering needed supplies. Hardest part of the job was the facility being on corrective plan by state. Most enjoyable part of the job: co-workers in therapy department. Workplace culture: constant stress and unexpected changes in plan of care due to poor communication. Management solution to problems: terminate existing staff and hire replacement (perpetual cycle).

Eduro bought my facility a few months ago. Productivity is high (in my opinion, but I typically seek out low or no productivity options for SNF). However, in the 3 months I’ve been here I’ve never gotten in trouble for productivity and usually have mot hit their markers (by a few percentage points - but maybe lenient because of COVID outbreak?). They have their therapists focused on patient care and work to remove the other duties that can sometimes fall to therapists. They encourage diversity in their facilities- what works for some they realize may not work for others. They offer some continuing ed which has been beneficial so far. Fairly happy with this company. 

Eduro came into our building and changed it for the better in 2019. Prior to their entrance, the therapy department had zero support nor budget. Eduro has provided a foundation of support, guidance and assistance on all levels since their start at our facility. On the therapy side of things, I feel more confident in my abilities as a therapist in this setting because of the support of Eduro and the Eduro therapy corporate members; they invest in our ability to provide the best care and build our skills as therapists while also encouraging networking and further learning opportunities with other therapists/therapy teams. 

This company does not care or value their loyal, dedicated employees.  Their only goal is to maximize revenue.  They cut staffing and increase the patient to nurse ratio. They automatically deduct lunch breaks even if a full 30min is not taken.  Anyone in Longterm care can attest that direct floor caregivers are rarely given a true lunch break.  This company only cares about their investors and making as much money as possible.  They do not care about the quality of care residents receive nor do they care about staff who sacrifice their time off for the residents.  If you care about truly helping than stay clear of these people!!

I have several years of experience working with geriatric/special needs folks in both nursing homes and in home. I initially applied for a cook position that specifically stated morning/afternoon hours. Upon clearing the background/drug screening and finalized onboarding with the promise of hours advertised and agreed upon hiring, they couldn't back up their word even presented in writing. Their words mean nothing, even with proof. It's too bad because it's a beautiful location with only the front line workers giving their all, MANAGEMENT IS NON EXISTENT, just hide and lack true compassion and leadership skills. SICKENING!
