What is the best part of working at the company?
Working with a company that cares about our clients and the staff.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
It can be stressful to find the best way to encourage your client to move forward when life's situations are not too good. Change can be hard.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The company is very positive and encouraging. The supervisors and owners are reachable and understanding.  They work with the employees to find great client to staff combinations. 
They have employee functions that allow our staff to interact with each other. We work one on one with our clients. This allows for fellowship and friendships.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I meet with one client at a time. Usually two a day. We work on life skills and individualized goals they set up. We make appointments and drive or take public transportation to them. We talk about what is going on and ways that may make it not as difficult.  Every client I work with has such different situations. I try not to judge and make them feel that because their lives may be different than mine we still have common goals. We learn from eachother.

A typical day looks like going to client's houses and helping them achieve goals, with maybe a meeting or two per week tops. I get paid plenty more than I did before and I have plenty of wage advancement, paths for working upward in my position and responsibilities, and overall my feedback about issues I'm having or otherwise is valued. I don't feel scared or frustrated about bringing things up because I know they will be considered and communicated about to me in a relatively quick period of time, with a solution that is fair for everyone, instead of being just brushed off, ignored, or dismissed. I did this kind of work with a different company for 2 years, and I have been here for 2 years, and I have to say that I have far kinder words to say about EC than I do for my old company. Looking to shoot for the moon with this company for many years to come. 

There are a lot of problematic companies in the social service field, ECCG is not one of them.

Management truly cares, from the CEO all the way down to supervisors and support staff. They care about their employees and clients deeply and it showed every day I was on the job.

The work can be difficult and varies based on the client but the job in incredibly rewarding if you enjoy acts of service and helping those in need. 

The only downside is it can take some time to build out a full time schedule as it takes time to pair you with clients get them comfortable working with you for long period.

The company culture is the best of any company I've worked for. While you work independently from the people in office, ECCG works hard to provide you with adequate chances to socialize with your coworkers through regularly hosted happy hours and paid in office training. 

I think that this is a wonderful company. I enjoy working here because of the accommodation towards employees. This is a flexible job, you can decide your hours and voice what works best for you. I’ve never had a job be so willing to hear my opinion and work with me towards what will make me feel the best. I have a great work/ life balance. I feel that i’m encouraged to speak up, even if it involves constructive criticism. I belive the morals of the company are strong and transparent. I really have no complaints. If you are a person who likes independence, are good with people, and want to do better for the world, this job is for you. 

This agency has the best culture for any job I’ve worked. The management is committed, communicative, knowledgeable, and extremely supportive. Success is truly achievable with EC. The schedule is flexible, most clients are very appreciative, kind, and generally enjoyable to work with. I’ve developed amazing relationships and connections, I’ve widened my skillset in the social services field, and have experienced an incredible amount of personal growth, too. The pay rate is generous and there are many perks offered by the management/owners. 

Ever since I’ve started at ECCG everything has seemed too good to be true— great pay, flexibile hours, structured safety policies, great management, upward mobility, continuous learning opportunities, and an amazing community. I am happy to say that there wasn’t any catch. It can be emotionally draining at times, there is many transitions and flexibility (good and bad), and you never really know what you’re walking into for sure, but that can be expected of any job in this field. Luckily the company does their absolute best to support staff to avoid stress and burnout. I could not recommend this company more.

first i would head over to my client then greet them . Then ask if they had any appointments that day that we had to attend  if the said no  then i would ask what they would be interested in doing that day  some we just went out for coffee and chatted about their life and how things are going in it. other we could go to a gym or go on a long nature walk. or to the theater to watch a movie are to see a play or go to a cultural event it was pleasing to see the clients  showing signs that they were happy and some to go fishing or shopping or cooking .

They pay you well, the work is engaging and interesting because they match you well to clients. I genuinely enjoyed my time here. 

The only things that were difficult is that I had to reach out to supervisors instead of having scheduled check-ins, however they were usually available to talk if needed. Also, sometimes I'd get a client who would cancel a lot but they were pretty good about balancing those clients out among workers. 

I have worked in the health services for a long time and this is the only company that truly cares about staff and clients. Management support is 2nd to none and my supervisor is always encouraging me, offering me guidance, and pushing me to be the best employee I can be. I can not recommend working here enough.
