Management is very conniving and unprofessional especially at the lake Worth Facility.  They hire for one position before you even start that position a few days later they call you and try to force you to take another  position at a sister facility if you refused they rescind the previous position. they will give a dumb reason why they take the offer back, but you'll still have a job if you accept the second position. I've never heard or seen such politics in a nursing home.  No wonder nurses are running from nursing. The professionalism among management is truly unreal. Their corporate should investigate the lake worth Facility, very shady.  

What is the best part of working at the company?
The give Unfair pay. You do jobs that have nothing to do with activities. The director writes people up for things that’s out of their control while over working them. I left because of the drama in the department was overwhelming.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Everything is stressful because everything is in chaos.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
You’ll find cool people but a lot of them are just backdoor. Residents are nice though.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Stress. I almost crashed my car one time from it.

The "work" would be in 3 parts: Prepping, serving, and cleaning. Very easy to understand the schedule but the difficult part is remembering all the small details. Such as diets and textures. Also some time is required in order to truly excel at the prepping part. What I mean by that is, the residents occasionally switch up what they want and as such, you must anticipate the changes.  

This company does not appreciate any of they employees. There are no thank you for you hard, stressful and long hours at the job. All managers are friendly with each other and are very unprofessional. There is no support for the staff. No one to go talk with if you have a problem or a concern. It is a very dirty environment with low patient safety. The food is very disgusting as per patients. The staff talk down to the patients. I would never encourage anyone to put their family members in this facility. Most of the night nurses are incompetent. 

"I strongly advise against seeking employment at this facility. In my experience, there is a recurring pattern of high staff turnover, which appears to be a direct result of poor management and a lack of respect for employees. The leadership—specifically the Administrator and the Director of Nursing—does not foster a supportive work environment. The culture is hostile and unprofessional, which is why many employees feel forced to leave shortly after starting. I would recommend looking elsewhere for a stable and respectful workplace.

Elevate Care is a wonderful company to work for. There is extensive amount of support and growth within the company for individuals to excel in their chosen career field or even try something new, the opportunities are endless! Management is also VERY supportive of a healthy work/life balance for their employees. Thank you Elevate Care for making it a GREAT place to work! 

Typical day at work was being threatened from this new administration. Then the topmost administration ignoring it. Then corporate being involved and nothing being done. So be careful cuz you may have to like have eyes on the back of your head because even people are being threatened to be shot by other staff members

This isn’t a bad place to work for seasoned nurses. The facility is predominantly g-tubes and trachs/vents and you only get 3 days of training. There are a handful of nice nurses, everyone else is miserable because they are burnt out but can’t afford to take time off. The facility is not kept up anymore like it used to be, it smells horrible on certain floors. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
Patients are the best. I enjoyed my job. Learned a lot from my supervisor and co workers.

Working short was a bit challenging.

It’s a diversity of people. The facility needs an update.

Working at beginning of shift and the end

I had the wonderful pleasure of working at North Branch as an Admissions Director. 

The job definitely had it's moments where I was very stressed and the work/life balance was difficult at times, but the company/management/my team.. it was all worth it. 

The company is very fun and everyone is very involved and wants to help each other. My experience at Elevate Care was a positive one and I would definitely come back if I were to move back to Chicago.
