When I started with Elite, the company had a downright obnoxious, controlling, and abusive director at the helm of the Support team (unlicensed new business reps along with licensed support/sales agents). I was subjected to overwhelming levels of stress and unprofessional coaching/leadership, and I wasn't alone. I dreaded every day I came to work, and feared for losing my job. It made it difficult to focus and excel in an environment with subpar training and extreme levels of pressure. There were a handful of other issues elsewhere in the company as well, but I'm strictly limiting this to my firsthand experience.

Four years on, and the company has had a complete transformation in leadership in both the Sales and Support teams. After years of selecting the right people and fostering a positive culture within the company, I can say with confidence that they have achieved just that. The people at this company genuinely like and support each other (for the most part, but no place is a utopia).

The pay is fairly typical, nothing special.

Earlier in 2024, there was a substantial layoff that ran the gamut from new employees to seasoned professionals. The sales team was too small to support the size of the company, and this resulted in a company that was unsustainable. After these layoffs, the company began to refocus its efforts on expanding and strengthening the sales role, and employee retention seems to be better for it.

The hardest part of the job is managing and working around outdated and subpar insurance carrier systems, as well as tracking down clients and the necessary information to ensure their policies go active.

The most enjoyable part of the job was having the power to help people stress less about their insurance and defusing that tension by providing actionable steps and assistance.

A typical day involves taking stock of your daily tasks, ensuring your phone is available to take calls, and reviewing any policy applications that come through from successful sales. Interfacing between carriers and clients to pass along info to ensure policies are approved sums up the typical day-to-day.

I took away four years of customer service experience, people skills, proven resilience and organizational skills from my time with this company.

One of the biggest strengths of this company is the quality of its sales training. You'll gain a solid understanding of proven sales processes and techniques, but success requires personal commitment. There is an expectation that you invest the time to learn the scripts, master the sales process, and consistently practice your skills.

The management team is highly supportive and genuinely invested in employee growth. They take the time to coach, mentor, and help you develop, especially when they see that you're putting in the effort and are committed to improving. The culture rewards initiative and a strong work ethic.

While memorizing and practicing the scripts can feel challenging at first, the training is built around methods that consistently produce results. As you become more comfortable with the process, you'll find that the scripts help build confidence, improve conversations with clients, and make it much easier to achieve your personal and professional goals. If you're willing to put in the work, this is an excellent environment to develop your sales skills and advance your career.

I’ve been working at Elite Insurance Partners for about 90 days now as a sales rep, and honestly, it’s been a great experience so far. My main job is to help people understand Medicare plans—breaking down the pros and cons—and guide them toward something that really fits their needs. It feels good knowing I’m helping people with something so important.

What I’ve enjoyed the most is the feeling that I’m actually making a difference. It’s not just about sales—it’s about helping people take care of their health and feel more secure.

That said, it hasn’t been without challenges. Sticking to scripts and breaking old habits has been a bit tough, but I know it’s part of learning and getting better.

One of the biggest things I’ve picked up is learning how to be a better listener. It’s helped me understand clients better and figure out what they really need, which makes the whole process smoother—for them and for me.

Overall, I’d rate my experience a solid 10 out of 10. I’d definitely recommend this job to anyone who cares about people and wants to have fun while making great money. The vibe is positive, the work is meaningful, and there’s real potential to grow here.

I was a Medicare sales agent at EIP, so I can only speak for the sales team, but I was largely satisfied by my time there.  I should also say I was let go for not meeting my goals (before COVID got bad).  One of the biggest things I noticed was that the supervisors and managers measure every metric you can imagine: avg. talk time per customer, time away from your phone, etc., more than I can remember as it's been a few months.  At times, it did feel like micromanaging, but that said, the managers worked with me to a very high degree to make sure I met my goals.  They went out of their way to help me solve problems, train me, and improve myself.  Management also gives credit where it's due, both in terms of praise and compensation.  They definitely view their employees as investments and are moderately sensitive to you as people.  I am simply not cut out for sales, and my supervisor (when I was let go) was very gentle and agreed on that.  If you have success in sales or thing you can do well, this is a solid place and I do recommend at least applying.  It was one of the hardest things I've ever done, but I felt motivated to succeed—it was a positive environment, if stressful.

This job is not for everyone, when they say nothing in life is easy - this job epitomizes that. Don’t expect to make $100k+ doing the same things you’ve always done. It doesn’t just happen. 

Now, if you’re a grinder, who’s in control of your attitude, and willing to go past your comfort zone - apply already. I’m coming up on a year at EIP, I’ve experienced everything the “bad reviews” say - but didn’t internalize those experiences or blow them out of proportion. I keep my head down, I grind it out. 

My income is steadily growing and they’re pushing me to grow it faster. They want the best for you as an Agent bc it benefits them too. I made close to $30k in a 3 month span and wasn’t even a top 5 Agent - working 40hrs/wk. The money is real. The challenge is real. The question is are you ready for REAL? 

What are you willing to do to make $100k+? Submit an Application? Not enough. All those excuses don’t work at the ATM, at EIP we’re about results! 

Everyone wants to make $100k+, but not everyone is willing to do what it takes. You will fail. You will doubt yourself. You may crash and burn. $100k+ starts with what you do after that….

Just know this place is legit, anyone can do this, and don’t think it will be all unicorns and rainbows…. 

PS. By far the most fun workplace culture I’ve seen in life. Not to mention the perks like an all-inclusive 5-day cruise I qualified for in my 1st year…

Elite Insurance Partners is an incredible company to work for!  For Medicare agents, a very positive and nurturing environment is established from the moment you walk through the office doors.  The training process is extensive but thorough and sets one up for success. The teachers and supervisors are all extremely helpful and care for your growth and journey on becoming an expert in the field.  By the end of your training period, you will definitely be ready to take on the world. With that, comes hard work and that is all that this job requires to be successful. If you put in the time and effort, you will see consistent growth and development as a Medicare professional. That just means, that in your first 3-4 months, you will have to dedicate a lot of time to your job, so work-life balance is skewed a bit in the beginning. But it does get better and the pay/benefits/leadership/culture makes it all worth it at the end of the day.

Elite Insurance Partners gives you all of the tools you need to succeed. Everything from training to get your license to weekly coaching's to make sure that you are hitting your goals to all of the programs on your computer to make the job seamless. EIP is a fast growing organization and with that there are some growing pains however the CEO and upper level management are constantly working to ensure those growing pains are addressed and fixed. I do enjoy how much the upper level management has a hand in all aspects of the company. This company has tons of incentives to motivate employees, if you are a money motivated person, with the right time and dedication you can make a healthy living here. It will take hard work but for that hard work you are rewarded handsomely!
