Hourly wage is nice for the job performed. Staffing is through a user friendly app on your phone. Often nurses in one location are saturated and there are not many shifts close to home. Quite a few shifts if willing to travel. Sometimes it's hit or miss, one week you may have 16 hours another week you may hit overtime. It's best as an additional income but not your only income. 
Timesheets are to be sent in immediately after each shift worked. I've never had an issue with being paid on time, pay is always in the bank at midnight on payday. They offer benefits but its very hard to get them with hours varying from week to week. 
Other staff from Elite have always been friendly and well trained if I've worked with them at any facility. 
I do wish they paid mileage to a facility, as some are quite a distance from home or provide even a percentage of a hotel if working multiple shifts at a facility a long ways from home. No real job security or room for advancement.

What is the best part of working at the company?
I would not even give them a star if I had a choice. They said they would renew my cma license but when I tried to get a job somewhere else I found out that they never did and I ended up losing my and I would have to retake the class

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
When you tell them that you need to take a few days off because you have worked so many hours they would get made.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
You go to different places and work and sometimes when you work with new people they can make it hard and when you try and talk to your supervisor  about the jobs they don't want to here about it.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I no longer work there I haven't in a couple of years but I would never go back.

What is the best part of working at the company?
I felt the management took my needs into consideration.  They listened to me and I had a terrific direct manager.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Just nursing in general. Hospice was fine, but home care was hard as the patients seemed to expect the impossible. They wanted hotel concierge service.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Pretty flexible. They expected professionalism and returned it in kind, but they weren't  ridiculously strict.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Blow in at 8, get my assignment, do a quick review of charts (20 min for 5 charts)  and plan my house call route for the day then take off to see pts.

Management is great and works very hard to keep you working but is unrealistic to nursing special.  (will try and place a ICU nurse in PEDS ICU or an ER nurse in Neuro ICU)  Also unrealistic to travel distance.  Will ask you to drive 2 hours for a per diem job.a

You sent your own schedule but there is always the risk of being canceled  Management does work hard to keep you working

No vacation time or benefits unless you pay for them but that is pretty standard for per diem nursing but this includes travel nursing and that is not standard

What is the best part of working at the company?
Being able to grab a shift and get picked faster than most agencies

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
You can't call in at all.  They hound you about life happening even if you let them know 12 hours in advance when all they require is two hours in advance.  Fired me because of it.

Some of the staff make you feel like family, and some make you feel like a number.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I didn't work at the actual office. I was a per diem nurse for them.

Some staff at this office are very unprofessional, they're always ringing your  phone when they need you but never respond to your calls or emails, or even text, days to weeks can go by and they won't respond...smh They treat you like your not important until they need you!! And when they do, they low-ball you on the pay. They barely have staff at times to cover shifts and cases it's ridiculous how much they want you to work and travel but yet don't want to properly compensate you for your hard work and time among other things like putting miles on your personal vehicle and wearing your tires down, spending money to fax time sheets etc .....smh

I have been with this company since 2009, I give them a schedule every month that I would like to work, on those nights (my preference) they call me at 5PM to confirm me and tell me what unit at what hospital I will be working. I love it. I get paid every week. If I ever need to talk to anyone for ANY reason there is someone 24-7 answering the phone. If something comes up that I can't work I just give them a call, there is never any nasty feelings just an OK and we'll talk to you tomorrow. If I want to pick up more shifts I am always welcome. The only time that it's not great is when the snowbirds go home and the census goes down, but that happens everywhere.

Good company to work for if you like working agency. Pay is $18hr for CNA flat rate any facility. The only thing I don’t like like and why I no longer work with them is you have a minimum work requirement. I work through agencies to be able to make my own schedule and work when and where I want and this agency doesn’t let you do that. They’ll deactivate you if you don’t pick up I think one shift a week. But I like to take time off when I want to and if I don’t feel like working for two weeks I’m not going to. That’s the point of being an independent contractor. 

Their coordinators and office employees are very attentive and care about your needs. Many options to work different facilities and pay is higher than most agencies. Most contracts are long term care facilities. Downside there is no PTO whatsoever and to maintain benefits you must work at least 30 hours a week. I wanted to take a week off after doing a year long contract, but was worried about my benefits being terminated for not working. Which can be a little annoying, but overall an amazing company!

The best part of working at the company was the flexibility and diversity of it.

I really can't recall a stressful part about working for them

I felt safe and like I was a part of something.  It was almost like being a part of a family

I'm no longer there. A typical day was a comfortable day
