Unless you're absolutely desperate, this place is not worth your time, energy, blood, sweat, and tears. It has treated its employees like garbage since taking over the plant from Viking Plastics, and has addressed none of the issues that existed before the takeover.

Management tends to favor some and detest others. Positions higher than quality (process techs, supervisors, upper management) tend to do the bare minimum when it comes to the work, and the few that actually make attempts to do their jobs correctly quickly tire because of the slack they have to pick up.

Most of the workers are just there to get a paycheck. Few care about doing their jobs right, and, as stated above, will often have to pick up the slack for others. Turn-over is high, and it's rare to keep new employees for longer than a few weeks before looking for better work.

The work schedules are also insane. These last few months have seen us working six days per week, with recent transitions into seven days. The company has even denied the scheduling of vacation days for the next month, if not longer. 

Staffing in general is a disaster. Rather than incentivizing new employees or doing anything to attract new workers, they instead place the work on the shoulders of the people that are remaining. All three shifts are currently understaffed, with some positions being expected to handle the work of four or five people. You aren't paid extra to handle this work, you're just expected to. This has lead to many people walking out.

The icing on this dumpster fire of a cake is the company's handling of the current COVID-19 pandemic. A number of employees on second shift were told by another employee that they had tested positive for the virus, and the company didn't even bother to address the problem. No contact tracing, no requiring of masks, and no asking people that were absolutely in close personal contact with the infected employee to go home and quarantine until they tested negative.

This place doesn't care about its employees. They don't care about your safety, your well-being, your mental or physical health. They only care about making money from the car parts that they produce. You would be doing yourself, and others, a favor by avoiding this place.

I worked long hours, 12 to 17 hour days, I was paid for strictly 8 hour days, even though I was an hourly employee. My job was threatened if I chose to claim any hours over 40 per week.  I was told that I had to lie on documents for  Workers Compensation Claims and Unemployment Claims, so that employees or former employees would not receive benefits for injuries or if they were terminated. 

A typical day would start at 7:00 or 8:00 am, and end anywhere between 9:00 pm and 1:00 am the next morning. I was expected to still go home at 1:00 am and report for duty by 8:00 am that same morning. I usually ran on 4 hours of sleep per night. 

I was not only the Human Resources Director, I also ran the Receptionist desk, because this employer refused to hire additional help while I was working there.  When they terminated me, they not only hired a new Human Resources Manager, they also hired her a New Receptionist, as well as a part-time Accounting/Purchasing Department Assistant, to do all of the jobs that I was expected to do by myself even though I had repeatedly asked for one additional employee to be hired to help with these duties.  

I began searching for a new job, and when I had found a new position with one of the local universities, not only did the company terminate me, they also gave the university a bad recommendation, and I ended up losing that job as well. 

This company was also having lines of credit shut off, because they were not paying their incoming bills; as well as having several OSHA Violations & receiving fines, because of poor working environments for the employees.

 It was one of the few places remaining that was direct hire as opposed to having to go through a temp or staffing agency. They  have begun using temps and the agency must be sending the ones that are not suitable for other places, and most of them reek of pot. The pay is  too low, especially for what they expect from you. They really need to focus more on safety. They do not provide you with proper PPE and there are hazards everywhere. Huge puddles of oil and/or water under every machine.  I was told that they never work weekends and from day one, I worked over 3 weeks straight without a day off. The lack of professionalism is astounding in the front office, particularly the HR department. They went through several plant managers in a matter of months. Some of their practices make absolutely no sense at all....overstepping their boundaries and trying to do other people's jobs that they are clueless about. The only reason I stayed as long as I did is because I liked my coworkers. 

Epc is fine as an oporator but from my stand point it was very unorganized lack of professionalism and they ran me into the ground. I can remeber some days i would work double shifts  in the midle of the week and be complained at for being a little behind getting in the next day i worked close to if not more than 80 hours a week but my attendance suffered at first i was told as long as you make your 8 youll be okay but for a physically demanding job as hanging molds in a high tonage shop largest press being a 3400 ad jsw full electric toggle it took its toll working 7 days most weeks atleast 12 every day . Plus they dont have nearly the parts let alone tooling or maintenance needed every thing is rob one machine for another with no notes left to know whats missing i worked in a die shop prier to this one mold changes on big mold there being a 1600 ton machine 45 min here mold changes take almost a week to get set up and maintenance is a joke the just love using adapters and  rigs They are no where neAr up to osha. Code were kill switches and safty dievices are dummied out

This is a good place to work we just need accountability, training and leadership. We need better management with leadership skills. We need leaders who aren't about themselves, or about furthering their own career and screwing the little guys beneath them. Leaders who do their jobs to the best of their abilities, hold people including themselves accountable. Better benefits package such as 401K, holidays we lost 2 holidays with new company and they only match 1% that's crazy, we need an affordable healthcare package theirs doubled what we had with Viking. 

I am only commenting at this time as a current employee because I think the management deficiencies are hitting a critical/dangerous level and I would feel horrible if someone took a job with this company as it is currently managed and was injured.  There is no training or safety emphasis currently in the plant.  A warm body without any ability to read work instructions can be placed at a press, but that is not the most dangerous aspect.  With the ranks of trained workers especially in the maintenance and technical roles thinning out, dangerous working conditions are manifesting such as no heat in the plant over winter and running a portable air compressor indoors.   You can easily get a job here, but be prepared to take care of your own safety, appropriate production floor standards are not enforced.  You will find team players here and wonderful coworkers but the upper (outside the plant) management is seriously deficient.

I supervised molding, assembly, shipping, maintenance and worked directly with the engineers to meet our customers needs. I reported these needs in a daily production meeting to each of the department leads.
I learned that I was very good at balancing all these departments to make our shipments on time every time.
The hardest part of my job was to hire enough people and train them to meet the needs of our customers. 
I enjoyed the responsibility of developing training requirements depending on the area within the company. Some of this training was specific to customer needs.
Everyone at EPC put the company's needs first and foremost. We worked together to improve all area's within the company.

I am grateful for the opportunity I was given at EPC. I had just graduated college and was starting my career in a field that I went to college for. I excited for the opportunity to work in my field and definitely had rose colored glasses. The CEO is definitely not the easiest person to get along with and often uses fear and intimidation to get his way (no matter how ethically or legally gray that may be) I am grateful for the people that I worked with at the site as my direct managers were amazing and supportive but also had their hands tied by the CEO. COVID was a huge part of my career at EPC and I feel that it could have been handled much better by the CEO and leadership but that is neither here nor there. 

Horrible place to work the h.r. woman is horrible go to her with a problem says not her job they pick and choose  who they treat fairly if your a good dependable worker do not work here you will get all the work load put on you while the slow incompetent people will be assigned to 1 machine while your on 4 and then ask to help that person on 1 cause they can't keep up even though your already being overwork to death oh and the shift leaders tend to make you break yourself out and get you behind because there to busy taking 20 smoke breaks a day so if your a lazy slow worker this is the job for you you'll be treated great but if your a dependable hard worker I repeat run far far far away cause they will take advantage of you big time !!

A typical day at work started when i walk in and punch a time card, then i check the list for what station i will run for the day.
I had to learn how to use and maintain a screwgun and bowl feeder and proper assembly procedure for 7 different stations.
The management was uncaring in the sense of safety procautions and the overall mood of the factory.
My co-workers were fun and easy to work with, despite being at work the kept and uplifted view.
The hardest part of my job was not receiving time off in times of family emergency or hardship. Although there was some enjoyment, when we worked overtime occasionally we were allowed to work 1st shift.
