I worked at Envera for over seven years. When I first worked at Envera, it was an absolute great company to work for. Your direct management had your back and the support you received was amazing. The benefits were also great as well. The work/life balance was the only benefit that was worth while as this position was remote. 

However, as my time progressed with the company. The executive management had some changes that led to a downward trend for the company both operationally and had a negative effect on employee morale. The favoritism started to really show among some of the top management members (C-Suite). The promotions from within were non-existent as they started to hire from the outside to fill management roles in the field. 

We then had COVID hit, and like many companies through no fault of their own, Envera had to make sacrifices. The company ended up laying off a significant amount of employees, which was expected again due to COVID. As the company struggled through these changes. The benefits were also cut. Our once decent 401K had been cut in the middle of 2020 for an indefinite amount of time until towards the beginning of this new year. 

As is the case, it was understandable why the cuts had to be made. However, as we slowly recovered from the COVID time period. The positions that were laid off were never back filled. This meant more work and different tasks were assigned to the remaining staff. This started to create a job strain between all levels of staff going to our direct management. 

Unfortunately, the CEO and the rest of the C-Suite executives couldn't see or didn't care how this was causing undue stress and burden on our teams. This is when top tenured team members started to leave the company at the end of last year. 

In about a five month time frame the company lost over 15 years of company experience as these tenured experienced employees and mid-level management team members left the company. The cause and effect of this dramatically affected not only the staffing levels of the company, but the morale of the remaining staff. 

Despite the fact that the company still has some great junior management team members that are working hard for the success of the company. 

I do not recommend anyone pursuing any position for this company as it does not have a positive outlook and I predict within this year the company will see an even bigger downturn as the last remaining junior members of management will find better opportunities. 

This company would have great promise with a completely new CEO and replacing the entire C-Level staff along with the executive management team. 

This is a company that grew too quickly (great right??? WRONG) They didn't keep up with staffing, hire based on who will accept lowest pay, and bully and micromanage stressed and underpaid employees to the point of absolute absurdity. Management is like buying generic, you get what you pay for. Flaky, inconsistent, play favorites, gossip and generally run the place like 8th grade. Employees are so desperate for a job they are bullied and treated like toddlers. If you don't get in the right clique, you are harrassed, gossiped about, and you work life is a nightmare.  Now if you kiss the right behind, you can pretty much do anything you want and management will bury it. Same with HR. Think you can air a grievance and get help?? Not unless you want put on blast and retribution until you quit. By the way, the company will NOT pay unemployment so if they don't like you, plan on being scrutinized until they build a file of trivial violations until you get so stressed you quit or they can fire you and say how horrible you were so you will not get unemployment. It's embarrassing to say I worked there frankly. And yes, they monitor bathroom breaks, seconds away from your desk, and do little else but chit chat with their buddies from outside work and tattle on people they don't like. Supervisors in Central Station can barely speak in full sentences, let alone spell or act in a professional manner.Yes they offer benefits but get that you will pay out the nose. They are all about saving a buck at the expense of employees.

It is a pleasure working for a company like Envera that truly prioritizes its employees' well-being and professional growth. From day one, it was evident that fostering teamwork and individual career development were not just empty buzzwords, but integral parts of the company's culture.
The support I continuously receive from my colleagues and superiors is unparalleled. There is a genuine sense of camaraderie and collaboration that makes even the most challenging tasks feel achievable. It's a decent entry level job with very little advancement or income opportunity. They'll give you a song and dance about advancement and transfer to other departments but that's nonsense. The medical benefits are ridiculously expensive with insanely high deductibles and out-of-pocket expenses. Training and the trainers give a solid foundation for the job duties. Getting on the floor gives you a real sense of the pace of the job. Give yourself about 3 months to feel completely comfortable. But understand you will never be perfect. It's non-stop verification of visitors attempting to enter gated communities. Residents are over-privileged and nasty. Be prepared to be screamed and cursed at by residents and some visitors even if you follow the community rules for entry.

Some of the shift supervisors are competent. Others gossip in the aisles with their favorites regardless of how busy it is. The mentors seem more knowledgeable than the actual shift supervisors. Communication from shift supervisors is one-sided. You won't get a response when you have questions but when they contact you, be prepared to jump.

Good luck trying to fit in. The shift supervisors make it a very unwelcoming atmosphere. So much for the company core value of Respect Everyone.

This job is good for getting call center experience and a class D security license. Put in your 6 months to 1 year and then get out.

Typical work day is just taking gate after gate. Back to back with no rest except for breaks. 
It taught me to be tough and resilient to keep to standards
First and second level management was always pleasant but firm to work with, as they were always respectful and tried to be as helpful as possible. However upper management always seemed strict, aloof and generally mysterious to work with. 

The hardest part of the job was dealing with visitors and residents, as a lot of the time, especially when denying them. You can deal with the worst of the worst when it comes to people. 
But the nice thing was being able to openly cut your shift without pay if management allowed it when times were slow. Allowed you a little extra breathing room with work-life balance.

But as of late the standards have become more and more increasingly strict to where it feels nearly impossible to meet to please clients. Not to mention to sometimes feels we're being setup to be replaced with third party company

The job is very monotonous & can be very stressful for some people, some of the supervisors try to make it easier, but they can only do so much, the root of the problem lies with the way that you must interact with the residents & their subsequent visitors, expect to be lied on, lied to & your only choice is to take it, expect to be belittled & cussed out, you can alert the supervisors on duty & they'll take over the transaction, but by that time, the damage is already done, expect to have system malfunctions that make the job that much worse, it could be a better job, but accountability must be enforced when it comes to the way the residents & their visitors are allowed to act at the kiosk, the pay also needs to be raised, as far as the system issues goes, they could perform better, but that would require more effort on the i t dept & on the field technicians behalf, because when it all comes together, the kiosk operator is the one that suffers for it, but hey, I can only tell you about what I experienced & what I saw others go through while I was employed there.

I worked at this place twice and I thought that it would be different (in a good way) the 2nd time around. Boy, was I wrong!  When I started, management in my department was very accommodating and understanding, but after a certain manager was let go in the department, everything changed and not for the better.  I wanted a full-time position with certain hours, but instead they gave me part-time the schedule they gave me was that I would have to work EVERY HOLIDAY and at that time, I was using public transportation to get to & from work.  After it was all said and done, they told me that they got all the people they needed to work full time and they couldn't justify keeping me there part-time and they let me go.  There was also a lot of favoritism in my department and certain people whined to get promoted.

Bottom line, unless you are a cut-throat type of person or willing to be a brown noser, then good luck to you working here.  At some point, they will try to find a way to get rid of you.

This job is as a remote security guard for gated communities.

The job IS stressful. You will receive around 600 calls a day. You have to be able to really understand people for whom English is not the first language.

The hardest part of the job were the residents and guests feeling that because they can't SEE you, you aren't real, so they feel free to abuse you verbally.

That being said, the management team at Envera is outstanding (at least it was when I worked there). There are usually three managers there at any given time. Also, management arranges potlucks and other social events during work hours for employees. 

The training you receive is very good, and they offer health insurance and a 401k. They also give you a raise of up to $1 every year (I'm going by when I worked there. I don't know if this is still the case)

you are expected to be in your seat,7 1/2 hours a day (or more when you take extra time)  they time your bathroom trips,there are cameras and mics. everywhere to track your every move.

People are a taken to the hospital from stress and anxiety attacks regularly 

$10.00 per hour raises are maybe $.05 (usually nothing) Supervisors only make $15.00 - $16.00 and they are abused (must be available 24/7)

Everyone has their resumes out, everyone wants another job some have left for less money,to escape.

The headquarters for envera is on the east coast of Florida, that's where they pay large salaries and consider the workers in Sarasota as bottom feeders of no value. Turn over is 300-400 % year

Been at this job for 10 months almost and I've had many jobs but this job was the worst. They pretend in the beginning how they care and oh so nice to you until you have been working there for awhile and you start to see the true colors of the company. You get about 300 or more transactions a day and the people are RUDE, they curse, call you names and have an attitude for no reason and the pay for that is definitely not worth it. The turnover rate is KRAZY! When they do hire new people they take all the hours and yours get cut.

The management is FAKE, UNCARING and THINK ABOUT THEMSELVES...we were just numbers. Its soooo much drama in that work place best to stay alone.

I've learned to read reviews and do some research before actually taking a job.

The hardest part was accepting the way the people you talk to in transactions.

There was NEVER an enjoyable part. 2 months in I knew I made a mistake!
