Don't apply at here is the worst they never have money always on a budget that's what they say and management does not know what there doing at all disorganized like I never seen before . I have been doing maintenance for over 12 years so I've seen everything and it's a horrible place to work they use scare tactics to make you do your work and your job is always on the line they want to work you to the bone and they don't want to pay. The turnover rate is ridiculous 1 or 2 employees leave every month and then hire people that don't have any experience at the job just to have an employee to blame for there mess. They have 1 tech for like 150 to more units  and they want you to do everything to landscaping and cleaning apartments because they don't want to pay contractors and don't care that you have all this emergency work orders then they still move you to another complex to do work orders or landscaping because there is no maintenance there or they don't know what there doing and still expect you to teach them . So you are never on your complex so your work keeps pilling up and the the get mad because you have a lot of work at your complex but you are never there but they don't care and scare you about lose your job or right you up. Then they make you use your personal vehicle like it's theres go here go there and take this over there etc. And they get mad and take forever to pay your miles they owe lots of money to vendors so no vendor wants to do business with them. On call it's ridiculous your on call for like 20 complexes and no material so nothing could get done and since they don't have maintenance all emergency get to the on call tech so non stop calls and also they pay you when you get to the property not when you get the call so you work for free  when you answer the call get ready and the drive and some time the drive is like 45 minutes to get there. They want you to do what a supervisor does but not pay you like one do inspection do inventory you need to pick up material in your car order material etc. and pay you like 14 dollars an hour plus everything else because you are one maintenance in the whole property and there are many other things that happen when you work on call on holidays it normal pay you use your tools and they expect you to have all the tools for everything they don't buy you any tools for your job there is a lot of other things that go wrong it's just so disorganized I don't even know how there a company still . Finally just look else where I have warned you it's the WORST JOB IN THE WORLD literally.

I enjoyed my time here very much. My supervisor, though very stern and absolute in what she desired and expected from her employees, was also very personable and caring. Of which you don't come across very often and for that I am grateful. I learned quite a bit about patience and communication. I was entrusted with an abundance of knowledge regarding how to deal with and accommodate people during stressful and/or hostile interactions. Multi-tasking became second nature in this setting and it prepared me well for what opportunities may present themselves in the future. At the time, I did not have any true desire take such a career path; I honestly wasn't sure what I wanted to do in general. Though I love to write and I will be a writer one day, the experience I was blessed to have with this company, made me realize that I could not only succeed in such a fast paced environment, but thrive there as well. I may have been fortunate with the cast I was surrounded by everyday when I clocked in to begin my workday, but even so, I would recommend this position for anyone looking to get their foot in the door if it pertained to Property Management or Real Estate.

● Work-life balance
First off think about this 10 years 6 maintenance Supervisors longest was 3 years! Dont know how he did it.
They will not spend money to fix anything. Always band aids, extreamly unhealthy working conditions for maintenance and residents, they hide everything from the residents and owner, blow you off when you question it. Corporate and property management only care about their bouns. When their on property (3 hour lunches 2-3 times a week and then come back with shopping bags and still take an hour to sit down and eat) really unprofessional.
 I have called the corporate office for over 2 weeks and left messages, still owe me pay, maybe the labor board can get a hold of them. Horrible stay away.

● Pay & benefits
Needs to be close to $30.00 per hour, an hour for the conditions and work load due to poor maintenance practices and past procedures. Benefits are bottom tier and prices are high.

● Overall
Stay away! They promise you everything you want to here. And after your first maintenance call and conversation with any resident you will find out why you should have stayed away.

everything, they add extra steps to everything, look for escape goats when a higher up messes up, no accountability, and higher ups treat everyone including our residents

stressful, hostile, and  completely out of control

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
As soon as you unlock doors, the phone is ringing off the hook, regional will complain about you going to the bathroom, but if a resident or potential is banging on the door, you better answer but when you do, your in trouble for not taking an hr lunch, gawd forbid with so much to do, you clock out 2 mins late, then they threaten to fire you, and with hold pay, that its not in the budget

The best part of working for the company was PTO.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
That hard workerers are often over looked and understanding appreciated,  while the less productive upper management team is often praised and rewarded.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Unsupportive and no communication. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
First one to work, which is fine until others show up one to two hours late. Catch everyone up, fix any I.T issues, file, data entry, application reviews, answer questions regarding past trainings, answer phones, take and relay messages, proof read and send emails.

Just come to work and do your job. sometimes it gets hard when folks act out and cant have their way but you have to remember they are mad at the situation and its not personal. I love what I do. We have a great team, residents for the most part are great you always have the ones that think rules don't apply. But we really have some great residents. We also have a regional who helps us with whatever we need.  our compliance dept is awesome!  Our IT support is great! You always have help when you need it. If anyone wants a really great job. this is the place to be. Not just saying this. I*t is true. I have been here 18 yrs and counting. Ad a lot of our coworkers have been here longer than I have :-)

I love working with Envolve,  great pay, great benefits and an atmosphere of a close family.

Like any position, some days can be more stressful than others in property management.  That is nothing different than another company.

Very close family atmosphere.  

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
All days are not the same in property management.  Typically the days run smooth with schedule appointments and ensuring tenants have great customer service.

People in home office leaving left and right, the President is the ONLY person who truly cares about the staff, and if he knew how his lowly property staff was treated by the regional manager for this area he would be very upset, unless you are her friend and then you can do no wrong.  She has a list of people that she hates that worked for the old company and she won’t stop until they are all gone!  No one is valued at the property level by anyone other than each other...so sad!  I am glad I got out when I did!  I hope old co-workers donthe same!

I couldn’t be happier with Envolve and my 26 years shows that! They strive hard to promote a work family atmosphere and provide support to each team member on an individual basis. Work isn’t supposed to be easy, that’s why it’s called work but they make sure the rewards are many. I love my Georgia team and couldn’t be prouder of the work they do and the families they impact for the better! The site teams are the best! I enjoy working at LEDIC, I have a great team that is dependable and they come to work every day ready to take on the workday.  The only concerns I would have is that upper management requires too many reports from the onsite team that the team does not often have times to manage the property. We would normally spend six hours a day in front of the computer and only two hours serving our residents.

I would recommend that reports should be limited to what is needed and not as a whim to keep managers, leasing team, etc. busy. We call this busy work.
