The interview process was very thorough, yet pleasant. The interviews posed challenging questions, but the interviewers were great - very friendly, easy to talk to, and responsive with feedback about my answers. They were also very informative about how the company works, and offered numerous opportunities for me to ask questions. It was refreshing and I found myself really wanting to work for this company, even more, after the interviews were completed. I was beyond thrilled when I received my job offer, not just because of the job itself - but also because of the people I met during the interview process.

Onboarding was equally pleasant. It was quick, thorough, and everyone involved was very supportive and helpful. I came out on the other side feeling very prepared to begin my work, and having a great team to work with too.

Clients are vetted and assigned carefully to the VA (virtual assistant) whose skills and personality best fit them. You will always receive information about a potential assignment and have the opportunity to either accept, or decline the assignment. I've been fortunate to have several assignments, and every one of them has been an absolute pleasure to do work for. You will always walk in knowing exactly what is expected of you.

You can learn about all the latest (and catch up on all the classic) tools for your area of expertise, including training on software, etc. if needed or if you request same.

But the magic - the real MAGIC of this company - is how they manage to make you feel like you're NOT isolated in your home, alone, trying to stumble your way through the day. You will always be in communication with your team, you will always be supported, you will always get help any time that you ask (and you don't have to be shy or afraid to ask for help - they WANT you to ask, and beyond that, they want you to offer help to teammates when they ask too). You will always be part of a team dedicated to supporting each other and taking outstanding care of the clients too. 

Even the CEO is right there, available to everyone every day, responding to conversations and part of the team in every aspect. Literally from the CEO, to the HR department, to your managers, and your co-workers, everyone is accessible and approachable and welcoming of communication.

You will have work hours, and you must adhere to them. You will have commitments, and you must keep them. It is work. Real work, and challenging work. And it is the most rewarding work, I dare say, that I've ever done in my life.

I can honestly say I love my job with Equivity. The flexible work schedule is great. I began with a slow ramp upward for a very short time.  I now know this is the best approach. I am able to keep my clients happy and definitely meet all deadlines. This is priority! Working remotely is wonderful as you do not have all the distractions of working in an office. However, you are not alone when it comes to help and support. All my questions are answered usually in minutes whether it is regarding a certain document, troubleshooting issues or a technical issue.  I have learned so many new programs that I receive all the training needed to help me be as productive as I can. All the training of various software and procedures are paid to ensure you will all the tools you need to be successful. My Equivity team is the best everyone helps everyone with their expertise, Equivity has it all!  I really enjoy all the new opportunities that are available to me. I work with people all over the United States. I absolutely love this aspect of my job as well. My entire team is supportive and positive. Therefore, I enjoy opening my computer every workday! My CEM is top of the line supportive. I have said from day 1 our CEO is a genius for creating this company!

I love working for Equivity.  They have helped me transition well to a full-time work from home CA Paralegal position.  I like that they offer a flexible schedule/number of clients to fit your needs.  It's basically like working freelance but having a company assist you in obtaining clients, as well as, taking care of things such as tax obligations (W-2 employee instead of 1099).  The Client Experience Managers are very experienced and help set you up to succeed with your assigned clients.  If there are any problems or concerns with any clients or stresses due to client expectations/workload expectations, the Client Experience Managers at the company are very attentive and will help you with any problems.  The CEO is also very involved and available, which is also a plus for a company like this.  The work from home environment allows me a flexible schedule, but with Equivity, you are routinely in contact with your CEM and other members of the company, so you really feel like you're part of a team work environment.  

The company culture, which includes values of respect, value to people, innovation, and teamwork, makes this virtual work experience unlike any other. Management (including the CEO) strives to ensure that everyone has the support they need to meet the needs of their clients. Additionally, the client model results in different types of work and personalities, which makes for a more interesting day to day experience. And, of course, you get the work-life balance and flexibility that comes with virtual work.
The company is forward-thinking and has been 100% virtual since its inception, unlike many other companies who are just now trying to figure out the virtual environment. 
With that being said, the job does require you to be someone who is self-motivated and disciplined. Employees are expected to be experience professionals who will ensure that tasks are completed, deadlines are met, and clients are happy. 


Working at Equivity has been a very rewarding experience. If you want to work from home and control your own schedule, Equivity enables you to do that, but they also do so much more.  They offer you clients based on your skill set and interests and you pick which ones and how many you want. You can work as many or as a few hours as you choose. If you need help figuring out how to meet the needs of a particular client, Equivity has internal message boards and processes that encourage camaraderie among the employees so that you have a pool of brains to pick. They also offer paid training on various software and procedures and strive to provide you will all the tools you need to be successful.  Need to take some time off?  They will provide you backup to cover your clients while you are on vacation or sick.  The management goes to great lengths to ensure a positive work environment and make you feel like they have always got your back.  Equivity is definitely a great place to work!

The process and transition to being an employee at Equivity were seamless. The assistance is unmatched in the chaotic virtual world we live in. Every employee has tons of resources available to ensure an easy work-from-home transition. Every employee also has direct contact with the Co-Founder and CEO of Equivity, which is rare in a company of this size. I sincerely appreciate being a part of the Company. Personally, working from home prior to Equivity was difficult with my extrovert personality; however, Equivity prioritizes you being an active member of the team. Lastly, and most importantly, Equivity genuinely is concerned with their employee's mental health and overall wellbeing. When a personal emergency arose, Equivity's team handled the situation with care and concern. The Equivity platform is unmatched and a wonderful company. I highly recommend to all.



Working at Equivity has been one of the greatest growth opportunities of my HR career thus far. Being able to work closely with the CEO and Director of Business Development to create HR policies and procedures has been full of learning, collaboration, and strengthening of my own skills. From improving employee morale and engagement, to creating a virtual workplace to bring all of our VA's together to share ideas, tips, tricks, successes, to implementing new onboarding procedures and streamlining our policies and procedures across the US, I think Equivity is doing an excellent job of setting the bar for companies in the virtual workspace. As we grow, our internal management structure grows to meet the needs of our employees, and I anticipate nothing but continued growth and success in Equivity's future.

Equivity is a great place to work where you can put your family first, make your own hours, and create a realistic workload for yourself.  Your clients are tailored to your skillsets and they pay you for training/learning- which always makes me feel like they care about my growth.  Management and the internal set-up makes it feel so much more communal and supportive than trying to be a contractor on my own.  The management makes sure the clients and workload are fitting to my life and what I need to do to take care of my family at the same time.  I love that I can switch up clients, industries, types of jobs, etc,  Everyone is support supportive and helpful and I can always find other VAs to help out on a project if/when I need.

I have been with the company for 6 months now and I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to work from home. When I started with Equivity, I already had a good amount of experience in my field. However, in a short 6 months, I have learned so much more due to the opportunity to work in different states and learn how different things are done between them. On top of this, the support that is offered to the employees is something I have not experienced in many jobs. Working with Equivity, you really are part of a team and have so many people who are able to help you, if needed.
