Going into work as a facility maintenance tech they'll cross train you in every part of your job detail but I've got experience in a lot of different areas from being a heavy equipment operater to superintendent of a multi unit apartment complex the list goes on but in short great place to work just show up to work and do just that and you'll do good 

Your experience will really depend on the industry coverage group you join. Some are filled with smart, nice people, but others are duds that have grown too quickly and don't have top talent or culture from senior members feels very bulge bracket. 

Comp is obviously at the high end of the market. At the analyst level bonuses do not vary by enough to be meaningful for top performers.

This company only hires people that they know.

The E/A’s are a very nasty staff.

It is all about who you know and who you work for.

Get in and start working asap.

Evercore provides a high paced atmosphere and plenty of learning and growing opportunities for those who are willing to put in the effort. The management recognizes talent and provides them with ample opportunities to grow

I have been given a fair shake. My immediate supervisor has been great to work with. Equipment is new. All you have to do is come to work and do your job and you shouldn’t have any problems.

I support their IT infrastructure by analyzing and improving their network using various tools and techniques.
supporting various 3rd party applications
troubleshooting issues to ensure the company is running efficiently.

Evercore is a good company to work for; however they need to cultivate Work / Life balance. This is advertised and encouraged, but seldom supported by Managment and colleagues.

Evercore is a great place for someone who wants to build a career in banking or transition to PE/hedge funds.The deal volume is good, and there is good mentorship if you are seeking it out.

Very smart management.  Equity traders get little respect though.   Great research product.
High intensity, stressful environment.
It's all about your production here.  If you are not profitable enough, you are gone. 

I was originally working for my family cleaning service with adidas, evercor then took over. There has been more communication, and team players, more structure and clarification on what’s expected of me on my job
