What is the best part of working at the company?
Top heavy. Little to no diversity in staff from administration to those who work with the community.  Some at the highest level of management carry a GED and or high school diploma and have no true knowledge of mental health. The organization works on who has been there the longest  and they are given promotions verses who is better equipped to do the job.  Would not recommend working there, send a referral to received services no would I work there again. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
If management wanted you fired everyone from the administration to HR down to the supervisor would conspire to make it happen.  Especially if you are not "liked" considered in the "clique" and/or opinionated.  

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
To stack information (true or false) regarding you so when they want to fire or reprimand they feel justified.  Corrective actions are only given to those they may want to keep around.  No diversity in the organization.  To have offices set up in Kennett, Poplar Bluff, Caruthersville, Cape Girardeau, and smaller satellite sites, their staff does not reflect the clientele they serve.  No true training on cultural sensitivity, working with diverse population.  The culture is, "This is how we do it here."

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
A typical day can be stressful if you are on call for crisis and/or your workload had increased due to the high turnover rate.

As a Client Transport Driver, I wasn't in the office as much as the other staff who cared for the residents, and the day treatment clients, so I was able to avoid more of the stressfulness, and tense situations that came up, frequently, although I still had to deal with that from time to time. 
 I enjoyed being out and about picking up clients, dropping them off, transporting some to other facilities, and taking residents to appointments.  
 The culture seemed good to me among the staff, but the very nature of the residents and clients of this facility, which is a drug and alcohol rehab facility, meant that there were several times when a situation would arise between clients, or clients and staff simply because the clients were in withdrawal, but I never witnessed out-of-control violent, just tense.
 During my time there, I learned how to resolve conflict, and effectively listen to people's concerns.  Overall, this was a tense place to work at times, but people were being helped there with their addictions, if they really wanted to break them, and change, and I feel that it could be a rewarding place, for those with the right temperament, to work. Can be emotionally draining, though.
 Firm, but kind, and compassionate, is the way to be, and what is most needed.

The opportunities for advancement are there, they typically promote from within, the pay is a little less than some other similar positions, but the "family style" comraderie helps compensate for this. It is a stressful job by nature, so it takes a very resilient person to be successful...due to this, particularly in direct care positions with consumers, there is a moderately high turnover rate, adding stress to those who are "long term" employees. The money isn't bad, the benefits could be better, but they offer supplemental programs that help. There is lots of on the job training, but unfortunately, many skills are learned that way meaning people generally get tossed into a a work load before they feel confident. The upper management seems to truly care about staff and most of middle manager do a great job offering support, though a few could stand to do a "sit in" to see what the job entails as to stay current on work conditions, caseloads and their suggestions will improve

A typical day at work included scheduling appointments, greeting and checking in patients, taking payments, determining cost of appointment, assisting clinicians with their schedules and working with government offices in cases involving probation and parole.
I learned how to deal with patients who were mentally impaired, and diffuse situations that could get out of hand.
Management was strict and expected high quality involvement with people with whom we dealt.
The hardest part of the job was implementing computer tests with drug addicts, entering information in several programs, and finding clinician to interview client.
I enjoyed working with the public and helping transition the client through their experience with counseling.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Depending on the department, some co workers are amazing.  The providers are great and care about patients. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Working under someone who has no idea what your job description is made up of and them having control over whether or not your performance is rated in a positive manner. In order to lead you have to be educated. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Mixed.  Some departments are conducted in a professional and positive manner. Others are more political and prefer to appear good vs quality service. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Come in, get on computer, look up patients, attempt to follow through, drive to off site, provide pt care, return.

Working at FCC began as an "entry job" but i quickly moved up and LOVED my coworkers. I have never met super a dedicated, hard working, and supportive team in my life. FCC gave me opportunities to grow and better myself with training's (and if you submit it they can pay for them and Travel!). Some management wasn't the best leadership wise but the rest of the team made up for it by being supportive and answering any questions i had. The clients of course had good and bad days. At FCC you will work with women in Recovery, some maybe 2 days in or others 2 years. Watching these women get their lives together makes any cons of this job worth it. Its amazing watching them start new and having the support of the staff as well.

Very uplifting and positive environment for the most part. With any jobs you have good days and have more stressful days but perfectly capable of making it through. Staff works together as a team/unit to accomplish tasks when things get tough. Wether you think that you are doing a good job or not...the clients will always let you know how much you are appreciated. Its a great feeling to know that you can make an outrageous positive impact on clients and staff as well. Staff at FCC play a large role in clients recovery process but it would not be possible without the efforts & drive of all of the clients.

FCC use to be a great place to work, but over the years its turned into a work place based on favoritism, no matter what good you've done, they only remember the bad things.  You are replaceable in their eyes.  Its run as a mom and pop shop - there is no structure based on policy - policy only matters when they want it to or it applies to their needs other wise its discarded and not followed.   They create hostile work environments intentionally.

I was hired and given a scavenger hunt to figure out who and where everything is, since my supervisor was to busy with a new promotion to care.
They left me alone with three doctors to check in patients, do labs, give shots, hand out sample meds and do refills.
They tell you to work 40 hours and go home but then tell you to work. Put your hours on flex time keep track of it and you can take it off later. Not sure when that would happen.
Told me that on that Friday I would be going to another office to be all by myself for the whole day.

Then when you quit they say  you sent horrible emails, to try and make their selfs look better. They need to all grow up.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Payed time off, government holidays off

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Poor communication from upper management. Lack of empathy from upper management 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Good ole boy mentality. Upper management hires underqualified family regularly.

Clock in at 8, lunch at 12, clock out at 5
