Poor training for the position you are hired for. They are going to tell you that they will make sure you are trained properly by a supervisor which never happens. Senior employees (5 years and more) basically do whatever they want. Management and ownership are fine with it. Wage increases are un heard of. They will basically make up any kind of excuse not to give you one. I spoke with one of the senior employee shortly after I was hired and he said that most of the employees went three years with out a wage increase. Manufacture of the year award was a joke because they definitely did not talk to the employees. You can put anything on paper. When you quit, retire, terminated they do not pay out your EARNED pto. Which by state law they are supposed to pay you for any earned pto you earned it. It is a very difficult place to work especially with some of the senior employees (very rude and disrespectful. When you complain about it they close there eyes to it. BEST ADVISE STAY AWAY DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. 

I have really enjoyed working at Federal Tool.  There is always an opportunity to learn more skills, which really keeps you engaged.  I also can't say enough good things about the people I work with, this is both the most productive and skilled groups I have ever been with, as well as the most enjoyable to spend time with.  This is not a job where you can coast through your days, but it is all a part of a great culture with both respect as well as expectations for everyone.

  Very disorganized when dealing with projects.  Will start but not finish before jumping onto the next shiny toy! 

Accountability is a not a practice here. 

Communication is very poor. 

When company was bought by private equity firm it took all of the fun working for federal. “Company loyalty” was a trait that was very evident in day to day practices, but now is a rare trait! 

The most enjoyable part of the job was going to lunch and home! 






This place has a huge turn around, they don't give reviews or raises on time, lie to ur face about it. Want to hear concerns about work environment but when it comes to voicing ur concerns they consider it harassment. Very unorganized place with so many trip hazards it's a dangerous place to work. Some employees are held accountable for their actions but others are allowed to slack while forklift safety isn't enforced

Current managers/owners are flexible and have made an visible effort to give increases and recognition to employees after a hard year in 2020. Co-workers are friendly and good natured even though we are busy.  

Receiving ,stored and provide material for all the machine operators .
Rotate material , dispose of metal recycle 
Provide aid to shipping department loading and unloading 
Crane use

Total chaos communication is bad and they don’t take care of the employees there with fair pay and probably one of the worst 401k plans I’ve ever seen 

Family work environment , people are inviting and easy to communicate with. Great way to advance your experience in all aspects of the various jobs involved in the company

If you stay working you will be advanced quickly.  They tend to promote from within and offer on the job training.  The only con to this job is sometimes they rush products through too quickly.

Co-workers are great.  They are friendly and respectful.  Always willing to show me how to run a new job and making sure I understand what I am doing.
