recently worked with Atlas Consulting Group, and my experience was highly positive. From the very beginning, their team demonstrated professionalism, clear communication, and genuine expertise. They took the time to fully understand our organization’s challenges before proposing solutions, which made their recommendations feel both tailored and realistic.
What impressed me most was their data-driven approach combined with a human touch. Their analysts presented complex insights in a way that was easy to grasp and directly applicable to decision-making. Throughout the project, they remained accessible, providing consistent updates and adapting quickly when priorities shifted.
The final report went beyond surface-level analysis — it offered actionable strategies that led to measurable improvements in efficiency and team coordination within just a few months. The consultants were also excellent facilitators during workshops, ensuring all voices were heard and helping our staff embrace the proposed changes.
Overall, Atlas Consulting Group delivered exceptional value and left a lasting impact. I would confidently recommend them to any organization seeking strategic clarity, operational improvement, or long-term growth.

The people here are genuinely kind, and there are definitely positives to the culture. The hybrid schedule is a great benefit, and perks like free snacks, coffee, and lunches during busy season are appreciated. The office environment itself is also pleasant and professional.

That said, the compensation does not feel aligned with the level of work and pressure expected in the role. The position is labeled as administrative support, but much of the work involves high-level copyediting, proofreading, and formatting under extremely tight deadlines. Overtime is frequent and often expected with little advance notice, especially when projects arrive late in the day.

The pace and pressure can become emotionally draining over time, and it can be difficult to maintain work-life balance. Someone who thrives in a very high-intensity, deadline-driven environment may do well here, but for me the constant urgency and unpredictability made it hard to recharge outside of work

I would strongly advise against working here. During my time at the firm, I reported directly to a partner who created a toxic, demoralizing work environment. Feedback was rarely constructive and often condescending or dismissive, making professional growth nearly impossible. There was no genuine mentorship or support—just unrealistic expectations paired with public criticism. Compensation was another major issue. Despite putting in long hours and performing at a high level, I was consistently underpaid compared to peers at other firms with similar roles and responsibilities. Raises and promotions were arbitrary, based more on favoritism than merit. The culture fosters burnout, not development. Leadership claims to prioritize people but fails to demonstrate that in practice. If you value fair pay, respectful leadership, and a healthy work environment, I recommend looking elsewhere. There are plenty of firms that will treat you better and compensate you fairly for your time and talent.

Pros
- good atmosphere / real team spirit within departments and when teams are on site
- very bright people, particularly on international jobs
- clients of all sizes and in a variety of industries, with several clients being very large global firms leaders in their area
- Quick progression and responsibilities if perform well.
- involvement in internal and business development initiatives at an early stage if you show interest and motivation
- Travelling for work helps broaden your mind


Requiring improvement:
- management's responsiveness to fast changing market conditions (offering) and to the changing aspirations of employees (retention of young talents/millennials), 
- regular reviews of procedures to avoid unnecessary burden
- more transparency on the firm's strategy, and its financial performance against budget
- teams remain fragmented, an active effort to integrate new joiners and firms acquired should be driven by management

This was the worst experience I have ever had in my entire career. My manager was abusive, accusatory and unprofessional.  Most questions went unanswered.  Actions are heavily controlled and extreme micromanaging. The job that I was hired for was not the job that I was doing at all, and it undermined the possibility of being able to advance my career path.  The systems are outdated and inefficient with no room for career development.  Employees are discarded when they feel your frustration, actually speaking untruths about your performance.  No discussion, your gone.
The messages from high level management team does not reflect the culture.  

The job, people, and management are really great to work for. If you needed help with a client someone is always around to help and to show you with no problems. The only downsides is the hours and the client load. Be prepared to spend a lot of time working from home and at work. The work is a lot, they have people retiring and not a lot of new people coming in. The job is great for a single person who has nothing else better to do but work. It is not good for parents who have small children or a growing family. They expect you to be there to work and put the clients needs above your own.  But I did truly enjoy my time there, I just wasn't willing to give up my life to work all the time. 

Be prepared to put in at least 60 hours per week, plus weekend time and travel time.  And don't forget to do your continuing ed on your own time.  

Also be prepared for management to not support your team.  Be prepared to get no training for the fourteen computer systems you have to learn.  Be prepared to get no support from marketing.  Be prepared to have to find a different desk to work at every day because the team won't assign you a permanent one... and don't even think about asking for an office.  Also be prepared for the delights that go along with a manager that doesn't know anything about your team's work or what the clients really value.  

Other than that, it's been great.

I have worked in the Tax Department at Mazars for 7 years. During my first 5 years the culture was very good and the camaraderie between Management and staff was good. A staff member would be able to interact with partners and managers. Over the past 2 years,however, new management took over the Tax Department and the culture and camaraderie has gone significantly down. Busy season has gone from bad to worse and work-life balance has gone down significantly.

typical day at work: manager calls you a thousand times with something that could've been emailed, during closing periods you better have a really comfortable chair because you will be glued to that thing for 12-15 hours a day. partners give you work to do during last minute, your cortisol levels will rise because of the stress you will have. 

the most enjoyable part of the job is clocking out.

manager will also call you on weekends to make sure you did your job right.
