This job is very challenging as it takes a self-motivated individual to understand the issues and tackle them head-on. At the same time, Management is very supportive in their approach and they value the work of the staff members.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Good company culture, friendly people, and the presence of an Employee Relations Director, who is terrific.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
A combination of new leadership and homegrown makes for unstable expectations around performance and when performance adjustment is needed. Not all of them know what they're doing, and others demonstrate duplicitous behaviors that are nerve wracking.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Not bad, always looking to make the office-centric environment pleasant and well fed.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
When it was good, it was as expected, but when leadership changed, it got rocky. That might be expected but see previous comment re: duplicitous leadership behavior.

If you are white or Asian consider yourself to be taken care of my management; anyone else struggles their way through the firm. If you are not the cookie cutter description of an accountant, your work ethic will constantly be attacked, regardless the quality of your work. You will face harassment from partners who don't know how to behave professionally. Everyone dates everyone in the firm so you never know if someone is being friendly or if they have a romantic agenda.  Anyone taking a complaint to HR, will never see any change. Prepare to have your soul taken apart bit by bit until you don't recognize the person staring back at you in the mirror.

A great place to get your start in the world of public accounting.  Don't have to come in knowing what field of accounting (Tax, Audit, ACFO, Consulting, etc) you want to go into.  The rotation program that first years go through help you figure out what you want to do based on real world experience as opposed to basing your decision on a class you took.

Throughout my time working here I have had nothing but positive experiences.  The only downside is the long hours during busy season but that is typical for any auditing job in public accounting.  Management cares about development and they have made great progress in improving efficiencies and training since I started working here 6 years ago, when it was more disorganized.  

I started at here right out of college and it was a great experience. The training was top notch and everyone I worked with was awesome/always willing to help. Pay was pretty decent and they offered hybrid work. The only reason I left was because I wasn't sure I wanted to build a long term career in public accounting.

Frank, Rimerman + Co, LLP is a great place for motivated people with good work ethic to work. The leadership helps motivate and teach younger employees the ways of accounting. Like any accounting firm, extra hours will happen for part of the year, but the overall work life balance is great.

Frank, Rimerman + Co. is a fantastic public accounting firm, that will aid you in succeeding as long as you are willing to put in the work.

Good place to start but long hours. The pay is low for SF. Good work culture but there is room for improvement. Overall, I would recommend for public accounting career. 

Great work environment people are very supportive and everybody helps each other out it's a real Team environment there is no No worry about your rank or your title everybody helps everybody out and comes together to solve problems.
