What is the best part of working at the company?
The best is that it gets me out of extreme poverty after the government 🛑 ed my maternity pension after I came back to the USA from Europe after 13 years of absence 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Dealing with the drug addict homeless and psych patients. The lack of staffing and was forced to be without any lunch break with immunity problems after 5 abdominal surgeries and a neck condition at night without any mercy or any accommodations for my health conditions 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very hostile and damaging the health. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Very busy, no lunch or coffee breaks 98 percent of the working shifts.

Due to Covid 19 they do not use registries to fill absences.  This can mean that one CNA might get up to 30 patients to handle during the NOC shift.  I don't know if it's better normally.  The management are nice people but seem to be too busy at times and they make you feel like you're bothering them if you try to get answers to administrative issues.   I think if they became more organized and made sure all personnel during all shifts were apprised to all information regarding benefits, work hours, and policies it would make it a better place to work.  My main issue is the workload when people call in sick is hard to handle.

Unstable staffing and not enough training for new nursing staff

RNs were mostly independent basically working on their own not having enough support from their superiors

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Not and enjoyable place to work not unless one enjoys stress

Whole building falling apart. Every department head slowly left. Expected you to do a two person job for the same pay.  Management forsure  had favorites. Administrator a weirdo, nurses dating  & constantly saw cnas being sneaky on stairways, elevator, dinning rooms. And the corporate people who came to “cover” while  building was falling apart was sneaky af. Forsure sketchy things were happening. Quality of care isn’t their main priority. I honestly feel bad for the subacute patients and families. Everything stays quiet and behind closed doors. 

LVNs are always short staffed, management does not care about your work load. Morning its typical to see almost 30pts, pm almost 40pts, and noc 50pts. The RNs sometimes help but most of the time they are also drowning in work load. The pts are also not easy to deal with, not that there is such a thing as an easy pts but each cart is very demanding. If you have concerns they will brush them off and tell you to manage your time better. 

we were assigned 2 patients for full care which included showers, meals and medication dispensing. Many of the patients enjoyed being taken out to the garden for fresh air. We were taught to clean g tubes and administer G tube feedings. some patients were in a comatose state and required full care. The most dificult part was having a patient pass away.

Don’t work here. Management is horrible and don’t really care about the staff. Everything is about the money. Don’t expect any support from management. They just keep piling on work that way too much for one person but they still won’t offer to help. Management also changes rules and policies to their benefit without properly notifying the staff. Way too much favoritism with the Filipino staff (they can probably get away with anything). 

This was my very first job as a LVN. I learned many things from the patients and my fellow colleagues. Every day I went in to work was an opportunity for me to advance my skills as a nurse. My colleagues were willing to help me when I was in need and the workplace was enjoyable. The best part of my job at French Park was being able to see a difference I have made in each patient and their improvement in health each day.

Worked NOC shift. LVN supervisors were in charge of the assignment book but rarely had it ready when your shift started. Nurses were nice aside the NOC nurse at station 3. LVNs were extremely rude and always gave dirty looks especially on the upper floor. Staffing was decent depends if there was no shows or not. Management was decent as well. Only exciting thing was the residents 

Cared for patients of all ages and many problems that needed the support, I learned a lot about different people and how to communicate and listen carefully,hardest part was when you grew attached to residents that either moved or passed away
